Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity

Disappointed to find that another group of guys had booked the same deal as us for £150 cheaper with a different company.

Beautiful hotel with superb staff and wonderful food- great to play golf in April at your own pace - so much quieter than Feb! Don’t expect lively bars here - it’s quiet so take a taxi to PuertoRico or Mogán for nightlife.

A fantastic resort and well looked after by all staff on site. Nothing too much trouble.

All good except that on last two days the restaurant was too busy with questions to get in, also understaffed on these two days

Excellent.

It is a superb hotel. The staff smile all the time and bend over backwards to be helpful. The food is varied, plentiful and absolutely delicious. The rooms are convenient, the beds a blissfully comfortable and there is hot water at all times. For sunbathers however, the balconies face east, which means there is no sun after 10.30 am. There is a huge sunbathing terrace which enjoys all day sun available above the hotel but it required three lifts to reach it. The view from the bedrooms is of the golf course and most attractive.

Lovely course with fast greens especially after they’ve been ironed! Lots of slopes and raised greens to challenge your approach shots.

I reckon scoring 30 stbfd points is good on most foreign golf courses so we did very well. We were paired with 2 other golfers who did not materialise on 5 out of 6 rounds . Difficult to understand this but 4-balls let us through every time.

We played it about 8-10 years ago when it had 18 great holes, but in the last few years only 9 holes were available coupled with 1-9 or 10-18 on the old. There were few golfers there so rounds were quick [we could take our time.On 7 April we saw only 2 other players. We were amazed only 30 players all day.

Lovely course with a good mix of holes. Some tough one’s to keep you thinking. Very friendly welcome and a course i would return too

A lot of areas have been changed from grass to grit/sand since our last visit. Raised greens difficult to approach and see contours from fairways. Feel course is going backwards.

A little forgettable, but in good condition. A fair distance from the hotel; it was a 20E taxi ride to get there. I wouldn't hurry back, although in terms of score, it was my best of the week.

Interesting terrain , you need to know your club distances as so many elevation changes. A bit like adventure golf at times with so many rock walls in close proximity. Champagne on first tee to lessen the nerves was appreciated.

Great unusual course carved amongst ravines. There is no club house. Pro shop no sign posted but in hotel.

Really God course built in a valley. People were super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. The course was in great nick generally but the greens were a bit bumpy. Overall excellent course for a golf trip

Wide fairways, with tricky par 3's. It is possible to walk, but rather a long uphill walk to 12th!

Salobre have had to close the new course due to covid and not being able to water it. Course condition was ok given all the problems. I personally found it a bit tricked up at times - that said it is has some specular views and holes. The hotel looked pretty fab although we didn't stay there.

A really good challenging course for all abilities. Some greens need more work but didn't detract from overall experience.

Great fun to play especially from the back tees!

This is a beautiful course which is a pleasure to play in every way.

The course is very short with too many par 3 holes. If one is not very accurate, balls are lost frequently because they bounce off the rocky surroundings and disappear.

First day was very slow because of the heat and length of the par 5 s. We love the setting of this course underneath the hotel but those of us who can't drive far found it very tiring to play. Clarity re buggy hire needs to be discussed between your golf travel and the golf people. Your paper work to us, which luckily I had on me, clearly indicated 4 buggies for 6 days.p( one of reasons we chose you) However you had only booked 4 buggies for 4 days with Salobre They very kindly gave us two days as a good will gesture

All 8 of us enjoyed the challenge of this course more this year than last when most of us had found it daunting
