The picturesque shores of North Norfolk form the backdrop for the golf course at The Links, which may only be a nine-hole layout, but it is an entertaining and varied layout with a genuine links character.
Tight fairways and at times steeply undulating slopes are hallmarks of The Links, which is also known for its tricky greens. During the summer months when the sandy turf becomes hard and bouncy, this Norfolk gem plays fast and difficult, but is a beautiful place to enjoy some charming coastal golf.
Located close to Cromer on the North Norfolk coast, The Links is a much loved independent hotel that is set in a lightly wooded 35-acre estate. Every one of the 49 guest bedrooms is furnished with a television, en-suite bathroom, hot drink and refreshment tray and direct dial telephone.
Many rooms offer splendid views of the surrounding gardens and The Links' well maintained grounds. Every visitor will no doubt appreciate the chance to dine in the hotel restaurant, a well respected establishment that makes good use of the best local seasonal produce; it is not unusual to see Cromer crab and lobster on the menu - a certain highlight of a stay at The Links.

Ale choice limited in the bar and one of the main courses on the first evening very average. Other than this a good experience and would stay again.

Hotel is adequate, with friendly staff but poor management. Examples, no info on wifi in he Guest Book in room. Same applies to meal time in restaurant so had to phone reception to find info. Girls in restaurant wore black tights, short skirts which is fine, but 2 had ladders down to their knees. We were lucky that we had very good weather, 27C, but the hotel is airless and putting on tyhe towel rails made the bedrooms uncomfortable warm. We turned them off, but room staff turned them back on each time. I would go back because of location buty would probably seek another hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable and in a great location for most of the golf courses but was a bit old having been revamped but lacked something.very helpful staff.the swimming pool was a not hot enough but generally it was ok.it wouldn’t necessarily be my choice on another occasion though.
