The latest addition to the landscape at Reynolds Plantation is The Oconee Course, mapped out by the esteemed Rees Jones. The man responsible for the revision of many of the U.S. Open venues has crafted a masterpiece at the Georgia retreat, presenting a constant battle between risk and reward.
Measuring 7,158 yards at its peak, the course winds around creeks, ponds and the obvious Lake Oconee, demanding long drives, moments of bravery and some deft approaches to the fantastic short holes. The newest of the courses at Reynolds Plantation has proved to be an instant hit, and will be a certain highlight of any golf holiday in Georgia.
