The Warwickshire is one of the premier modern golf complexes in England, boasting two genuine championship courses, The Earls & The Kings, impressive practice facilities and a great Clubhouse & Bar. Across the two courses, the style of play is varied, with some inland links mixed with parkland play, making for some exciting and memorable rounds.

Centrally located in the UK with easy access to the M40, M6 and M1 and close to Historic Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon, The Warwickshire is the ideal location to enjoy a golf break. The Hotel itself is first-class all the way, with modern luxuries throughout, there are also a number of excellent facilities available for guests to enjoy.

American course architect Karl Litten, who fashioned the famous Majilis Course at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, has successfully blended different styles of golf - inland links, woodland and parkland - resulting in an extremely enjoyable and challenging golfing experience.

Golf Courses at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club

The Warwickshire has hosted many prestigious professional tournaments, including a European Seniors Tour event, it also hosts the annual YourGolfTravel Longest Golf Day where a select group of hardy Golfers attempt to get through 72 Holes in one day.

Earls Course

The Earls Course provides a stern test of golfing skill, tight driving holes are cut through dense woodland throughout the opening nine while the closing nine has the extra hazard of water to contend with. Good course management with plenty of lay up shots are required when attacking the small greens.

White 7,133 yards Par 72
Yellow 6,770 yards Par 72

Kings Course

Wide fairways, large undulating greens and plenty of water hazards define this as an American style golf course but don’t be tempted to get too greedy with your driver. Well placed bunkers along the fairways and around the greens are waiting for any slightly wayward shot, well struck iron play is essential around the Kings Course.

The welcome from the reception team through to waiters, waitresses and bar staff was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were modern and spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. We didn't have time to use the leisure facilities but they looked spot on. Our evening meal was very good and breakfast in the morning well cooked and plentiful.

The hotel and golf club experience was exceptional. The weekend was made by how friendly and helpful all the hotel and golf club staff were. We're not the easiest group to accommodate, but The Warwickshire absolutely nailed it. Could rate the facility higher.

Excellent stay, staff very helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. Smaller than most golf trip hotels so felt like we were very well looked after and they could accommodate changes to timings etc easily.

All very lovely. Dinner the first night was just us in a room which I didn’t expect! Had to get transport back to the golf club which was a bit of a faff as there was 19 of us and mini bus only took 8. Second night we just ate in the clubhouse after playing and that was great! All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful!

The accommodation was excellent in terms of the room space, the bathroom and walk in shower and the quality of the beds. There was a great gym and spa. The only downside was the breakfast with poor quality of bacon and sausage, and a constant shortage of plates and cutlery.

Going against the general opinion on this one. The Kings course is definitely superior. It has more variety, more danger lurking round corners (and ponds) and is visually stunning. I'd happily play it multiple times. The only downside was the pace of play, again. Nearly five hours, following a group of four in two buggies who didn't understand the notion of keeping up with the group in front was frustrating. I spoke to the pro afterwards about our experience and he agreed that was too slow, especially in 30° heat. That said, the overall impression was very impressive for both courses, the hotel, welcome etc. and we are definitely going to book again for next year.

Great welcome from Rich in the proshop with plenty of information about the courses and organisation for our stay. Starter/course marshal was a character but on a very busy, hot afternoon he could have done with some extra help marshalling as our round was very long. Three groups in front of us were playing at what can only be described as glacial speed that took the shine off what had been a fabulous experience. The course had some tricky holes and a pleasing amount of variety. Greens were fair and not too fast which always helps.

A pleasure to play and experience what is quite a demanding course. Some very long holes and a tiring walk but worth it.

Great course nicely manicured with quick greens. Tremendous views over the course. Long walks green to tees so recommend a buggy.

Some great holes, greens immaculate, slightly longer of the two courses - but felt like you could score well if you played well, whilst still having a few challenges and interesting greens.

Enjoyed this course a lot. Great for a mixed group, too. Some challenging holes and greens. But pretty open and accessible for the low 20 handicappers.
