Exactly has we planned all the group throughly enjoyed

The hotel is in a nice setting with lots of beautiful plants and trees. The restaurant and bar seemed pretty basic and not really fully open. As the hotel is isolated we had to eat there in the evening but the only option was a buffet and no snacks or Al a carte options. I am not a fan of buffets for hygiene reasons which proved relevant as we both got food poisoning on the last night and had to travel home feeling awful and was also violently sick on the plane, not good! Our room was fine but wasn’t cleaned for the last two days. I told reception who responded that they had until 6pm to clean the room but still nothing. So no clean towels or toilet paper on the last day! The bins were never emptied on any of the days. It seemed like the hotel was short staffed.

Pleasant but food choices very poor and very pricey for a highly rated hotel.

Beautiful looking hotel and the view from our room was lovely. The staff were all friendly and helpful. However, there were no slippers or bathrobe in the room. We asked for and got slippers. The floor is very cold! The food was bad. Being out of season, only two restaurants were open. A buffet--not good-- and a brasserie with a rather eccentric menu. Best to eat in Benidorm, which is a 10 euro ride away. Bereakfast was not bad.

Hotel was excellent

Stayed here several times and it’s perfect for a boys/girls golf trip.

Superb low rise hotel set out to feel like a Spanish village. Great staff and food (we ate at the buffet each evening which suited our group very well as each could choose exactly what they wanted, Breakfast also great and plentiful.

Great time had by all. Lovely facilities, great golf. Bar area at hotel could improve.

A great golf resort, 250mtr walk to the golf club. Swimming pools are really nice. Food at breakfast buffet is good. Options from buffet evening meal or in house Italian. Spa is good. You can get a 4 mile taxi to Benidorm.

Pool areas outstanding, golf course excellent. Rooms good and cleaned every day. Breakfast plentiful but stone cold, kitchen at golf clubhouse closes at 4.30pm so only crisps available after that. Very limited menu after 7.30 at the hotel bar, only 4 salads and 3 hot dishes to choose from (same every evening). We went with wallets full of Euros only to find on arrival that the resort was cash only. Have certainly met more friendly and sociable staff at other resorts and we often had to seek out staff to order drinks or to ask for the tables to be cleared. One evening I ordered a toasted beef rib sandwich which was supposed to be hot, took a bite and found it was stone cold and sent it back. Received the same sandwich back which had been microwaved, bitten piece still on plate. On the whole disappointed

Where to start? Positives: the pool area is really good. Towels are great & it’s a vast area. Can always get a subbed. Breakfast is excellent. Staff are helpful & friendly. Room is comfortable but small. Balcony/terrace very basic. Not so great: food options outside of the expensive all you can eat are limited. Italian place is great but otherwise just disappointing. No sign of tapas or paella which I’d have expected in Spain. Staff at golf club are good but always seemed the bar was understaffed which lead to long delays getting anything. It’s a huge resort so it can take a day or 2 to get to know how to get from A to B. Entertainment good but you need to understand Spanish- we were in Spain to be fair. Not the hotel’s fault but our transfer from the airport didn’t have space for our golf gear so we had to pay for a separate cab & incur an €90 charge. I’m hoping YGT will refund this but they have been a bit casual about how disruptive this was for us after travelling & just wanting to get to the hotel.

Was completely overwhelmed with the quality of this hotel, a couple of niggly bits we arrived on a morning flight from East Midlands, pick up and transfer faultless. We arrived around mid-day, check in was extremely slow had to queue for nearly 1 hour just to be told our room was not ready until 4pm, be aware of this and have your swim gear in hand luggage so you can relax by the fantastic pools, the phone you on your mobile when the room is ready.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was lovely. Definitely woul consider coming again. Thankyou

Excellent location

Amazing architecture and layout of facilities. Simply delightful with numerous pools and courtyards. Spacious rooms and fabulous staff.

Now 13 years for this hotel and still an exceptional experience

1/ Resort was amazing ,though having to pay everything to a room is not good for groups of guys on holiday who probably are working on a kitty base and bar staff where not the most approachable staff everywhere else couldn't do enough for people golf clubhouse and staff were brilliant and yes you can use cash 2/Breakfast was always cold ,never seemed to hold its heat

Stayed for fifth time . Hotel and facilities are getting better out of five nights only went into Benidorm two nights ago meals and restaurants in hotel are very good .

Unreal hotel would not think you were in Benidorm

Room easily big enough for 2 sharing. Hotel facilities great. Pool. Gym. Spa. Very big and spacious resort. Quality buffet breakfast and restaurant options.

We had no buggies had been allocated for the first day we have guys in there 70s wit noe knees etc So 4 guys didn’t play the rest of had to walk the course another couple only managed 9 holes

The hotel is more like a village than a hotel so difficult to find your way round. The reception staff were not particularly helpful or informative so hard to find restaurants, pools and the golf course. It’s a very attractive resort built in old Spanish style. The standard rooms are fairly basic and there is a section of the hotel for more upmarket guests where you can’t access.

Resort was great but lack of restaurant open no spa staff to explain services what we got was an off season experience

Great destination, excellent service and staff, rooms great and loads to do! Only a little gripe is that bar is a little small and slow to get served. Far enough away from the main town but near enough for a night out!

Off to a bad start when we arrived to find our room smelled of drains which got worse through the night. Managed to get maintenance in the next afternoon but they were reluctant to move us as they had only a few rooms available. Eventually got problem resolved. We found the dinning room like a works canteen and the food always cold. Luckily, because there were so many visitors there on various courses and seminars we were allowed to eat dinner in the LEVEL dining room for a couple of the evenings. The difference in both decor/furnishings and food presentation was far superior and left us feeling we were more in a 2/3* hotel rather than the 4/5* they advertise.

Great hotel with excellent facilities, breakfast choice and quality below par though

My stay at Melia Villaitana Wellness Golf Resort was good. No cocktails or arrival drinks offered on arrival which was slightly disappointing. The resort's location is beautiful, offering stunning views of the mountains and the Mediterranean, and the grounds are impeccably maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The balcony was an added bonus, where I could enjoy peaceful mornings and evenings overlooking the golf course. Downside the room safe did not work which was reported however no efforts were made to replace or repair. The facilities were good, my son used the wellness area, where he enjoyed the steam room which was 25 euros for 45 minutes. It did have a average equipped fitness centre. As a golf enthusiast, the two world-class courses were a good. Levante Golf Course (Championship Course) – Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this 18-hole, par-72 course offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Finestrat mountains. It is known for its wide fairways and strategically placed bunkers, making it a challenging yet enjoyable course for golfers of all levels. Slope rating 135 and a lot of bunkers ! Poniente Golf Course (Executive Course) – Also designed by Jack Nicklaus, this is a 18-hole, par-62 course that winds through scenic landscapes. It's a shorter course but still provides a great challenge, with narrower fairways and more technical shots, ideal for golfers looking for a quicker game or to practice their precision. Majority of courses were a par 3. Dining was not the cheapest. As it was September, and the courses were closed the variety of restaurants were closed so limited to set menu. It was approx. 30 euro return trip to visit the old and new town in Benidorm. Not on the same par with Portugal but worth a visit for a few rounds which were around 90 euros per person and 30 for the buggy. Would I go back to Benidorm to play golf probably not.

Trip arranged for a 60th birthday with friends, think 2 rounds was enough as we was only 19 minutes away from Bennie and it took it’s toll on the first night. Absolutely beautiful place, the staff where great, easy check in and the facilities where first class, great shout by Nick from YGT, invaluable expertise and knowledge, who made the whole process so easy, definitely will come back again and definitely use Nick and YGT again, already looking for next year

Accommodation was great and in a good location

The room we had was fantastic, I travelled to play golf with my brother and we got a 2bed 2bath family room. It was perfect for us.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were very Abrupt and ignorant If you were Spanish, I would rather serve you than the British Reception people were very pleasant. The restaurant people were the ones that were the problem and some of the bar people and because of that we ate out down the old town of Benidorm, most of the time it’s a shame because the place is really nice

Good value for money, however the room facilities do not have tea/coffee facilities which would have been nice & to request it there is a charge.

Fabulous Hotel. Very unusual design and like staying in an old Castillo. Beautifully done

A lovely comfortable stay. Room was clean and tidy and well maintained. Room had a mini bar which was well stocked but really expensive.

Really good all round. no faults other than it takes a while to check in and the table service in the bars is quite slow (can be 15 minutes between getting an order in , and actually getting the drink)

Travelled in May. Not everything open The buffet evening meal was awful - cold - complained but got no discount

Rooms need updated or some TLC as getting a little worn due to high usage.Air conditioning rather loud in rooms.

Great stay. Just, if you are going early season like we. Did (beginning of may) not a lot of bars are open around the pool etc. but what was open was a good standard and the golf restaurant/bar was great.

Very good sized room, comfy beds and large bathroom. Spa access is extra cost but looked very nice. Went after Easter holidays so hotel complex quiet but imagine it will be quite lively at peak times but with 7 pools spaced around the complex you can go some where new every day 🙂

Outstanding experience and unbelievable value for money

The most beautiful hotel architectural, staff were fine with out being to critical. If I had paid anymore money than what I did I would not be happy with the service from the staff , with a few exceptions, must made you feel that you were an inconvenience to them.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. No shops on site and all restaurants closed early so we were unable to get food when we arrived and we where forced to pay for over-priced water.

Greeting was pleasant, staff excellent. Booking was completely wrong but the hotel did their best to sort as quick as they could. This entailed our group getting changed in reception toilets and leaving bags and luggage in the clubs basement level. Not ideal at all. Poor management between your golf travel and club booking early tee times as we were unable to have any breakfast as the restaurant didn’t open to 7:30 and our tee time was 8. Little disappointing on that front

A few niggling things. Some minor damage to the facilities,which I reported to the hotel reception. They don't put tea or coffee in the room. Overall,it was a really nice room and a fabulous place to stay. All other amenities are within a stroll. Will definitely be booking for next year.

Fantastic accommodation with amazing facilities, couldn't ask for more.

Great hotel with stunning outdoor pools, one of which is heated in the winter months. Stunning hotel and location overlooking Benidorm, which is only a 10 Euro taxi ride away. Didn’t use the Spa (extra fee) but looking very nice, also loads of Paddle tennis courts if you fancy some racquet sports. Lovely staff too, although front desk could do with a few more staff for check in.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very nice and clean and well presented. The room itself was very nice and fresh with the maids coming every day to clean. A very small criticism is that it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make a hot drink, other than that..... perfect 👌

A comfortable and pleasant stay at the resort. The staff were very helpful. Slightly disappointed that the outdoor pools were not able to be used but looked particularly inviting. The food that we had at breakfast and in the one restaurant was excellent!

I know it was probably out of season for holiday makers, but for us from the golfing community it was perfect. Nice and peaceful.

Excellent hotel, 4 of us stayed on a golf break and loved the place. 5-6 restaurants on site the breakfast was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We will defiantly be back.

Great stay at hotel staff were great and all round great hotel

Arrived early due to early flight. Had our rooms and stay upgraded to “the level” which was excellent. Got our wrist bands and retired to our only to find it was already occupied. Went to reception and they were surprised. They checked the too and came back and said it is. After an hour of waiting we got another room only to find this one was also occupied. After requesting a manager we waited another hour and a half and we got a room that was unoccupied. Apart from that it was an excellent stay. First problem I have encountered here after staying there on numerous occasions. They did give us a complimentary charcuterie board and a bottle of wine.

Lovely hotel and staff pleasant however bar service is very slow due to not many staff . and breakfast wasn’t great stayed here 6 years ago and food wasn’t great there then either apart from that we had a very good time with Benidorm town a short taxi ride please note everything is card only or you can charge it your room and pay your bill using cash at the reception

Hotel rooms were great as always, large rooms so plenty of room, reception was good, checked in and had a call to say room ready early, only restaurant open was the buffet, so that was disappointing after a long days travel and golf, bar service was very poor, no longer can you get served at the bar (unless your Spanish) so waited 10min to be served at the table then another 10/15 for drinks, this really let the experience down

Very smart hotel, good facilities, great swimming pools and golf courses on site. 5k from Benidorm.

Hotel was lovely, the rooms were amazing. Only thing I think travellers should be aware of is that the hotel bars do not take cash it is only card or charge to the room.

Amazing hotel complex. We would definitely go back. The golf courses are both really good and present different challenges.

Hotel was very impressive with loads of pools. Food was pretty average with difficulties getting a table at the restaurants in the evening.

Lovely hotel very slow restaurant and bar staff

The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. One of our rooms had 5 steps down directly outside the door. One of our party fell down the steps after turning to close the door and was lucky not to be seriously hurt. The pools and surrounding areas were lovely and very clean. Breakfast was good but there were limited opportunities for evening meals as only one or two of the restaurants were open each evening. the buffet option was ok when it was open, although it was a bit canteen-like. In the other restaurants menus were limited and portions generally on the small side. there was very little information around the hotel. e.g. no written info in the rooms about TV channels or use of the telephone. At reception there was no information about which restaurants would be open, where to get pool towels if the kiosk was not open. We would not rush back to this resort, mainly because of the dining issues.

Overall a great hotel and stag do. The only issue was the staff at the golf club were extremely rude and unhelpful - we didn’t have any clubs which we told YourGolf travel about and you said it wouldn’t be an issue but it was certainly an issue for the staff at the resort. They first said they couldn’t hire us any clubs and then eventually after a lot of arguing they let us share 5 sets of clubs between 12 of us. Not the best but everything else was great

A lovey resort hotel with great pools, areas to relax and lots of food and drink options.

Thoroughly enjoyed, thanks to Joe we was able to regain the night stay that we lost due to our flight being cancelled.

I like Melia Villaitana. Nice room, lots of facilities, incredible breakfast and friendly staff. I'd have given the resort 5 stars but because we stayed there in May only one of the onsite bar/restaurants was open, so choice for food in resort of an evening was extremely limited.

The hotel and facilities are just great. The pictures don't do it justice. All staff were very friendly. We ate on a Monday night when it was quiet and that particular restaurant did not do well. But in fairness the staff sorted it and deducted money and we were happy to go and explore restaurants nearby. Which is easy to order a taxi from reception and take you wherever you wish.

Great hotel very hard to say a bad thing about it. Probably only gripe was the bar closing at mid night on the Saturday we were there

Our stay was very good, very nice resort, pleasant staff. A great place for a holiday even if you are not a golfer.

The hotel is beautiful, like a mini city. However, there seemed to be very little to do there and alot of the bars and restaurants closed. Not sure if this is due to the time in season or not. Staff were polite and friendly. We're not aware that you cannot pay cash anywhere in the hotel other than reception which wasn't great for people who had changed all there money up before travelling.

The hotel is very comfortable. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable and lovely crisp bed linen. The food was delicious. Two very enjoyable golf courses and we loved playing in the sun.

Overall it was excellent. A great setting. Would have been good to have tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Also there wasn't enough information about bars and restaurants as to what was available and when. This could be improved for outside peak season when not everything is open.

A very enjoyable stay having upgraded our room . Staff helpful and friendly dealing with a room difficulty effectively. Buffet breakfast and evening meals were if a very good standard. Only downside was that this was the only evening option except for Saturday as the restaurant options were closed. Golf clubhouse is a nice place to eat and relax post round.

Lovely stylish hotel about 10 mi9ns from Benidorm, so 12 euros in a cab. Up on the hills so overlooked the town and city. lovely big rooms, good buffet breakfast and friendly staff. May even take the wife next time!!!

Great hotel, low rise and laid out like a village. Bedrooms a little small but spotless and adequate. Good eateries and superb breakfast buffet.

Good four star rooms with balcony over looking front of hotel .Had to ask for a kettle which was provided . Breakfast good quality with good range of fruit . A number of very good swimming pools with towels provided . A Spar with a good gym and massage facilities . Bar in courtyard with entertainment .Overall an excellent hotel .

Excellent golf resort with nice rooms and pool facilities. The food and bar services could be improved as they closed the kitchen early when we were still out on the course, meaning we could not get food after our rounds.

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. It's a little out of the way and you have to drive to get anywhere.

The hotel and facilities were stunning. Pools were magnificent staff very helpful and courteous the bars and restaurants all good value for money the room was clean and spacious if a little tired. We all had a wonderful time and are looking to return next year staying in the 5star all inclusive part of the hotel

3rd time at this place and it is a great place to stay . Perfect location if you want to go into Benidorm by taxi which is less than 10 mins max away.

Worth visit poniente golf course is really a badly extended 9 hole golf course. Taxi turned up Unannounced 1hour early had to pay for return to airport not impressed!!!.

Excellent value for money. Could not fault this place

This hotel is more of a business venue then a golf resort. We arrived early rooms not ready and we needed some where to change in to our golf clothes so they put us in a corridor awful experience. We then went to the clubhouse for a drink then we were told that we couldn't pay with cash so be warned you don't need that much cash then went back to get our room keys me and my son was last to get ours so we go to our room opened the door only to find someone else already in this room so I had to go back to reception had to wait for half an hour for the staff to find us a room So would I stay here again definitely Not.

Hotel and rooms were nice. Good selection of food for breakfast and dinner. One minor comment is sometimes buffet food was Luke warm and not heated properly. I’ve given 3 stars for staff as cleaners didn’t clear up glasses or rubbish after cleaning our rooms.

Great hotel, everything you needed on site for a great golf trip. Lovely place. Golf club manager probably needs a refresh on customer service, but everyone else was very helpful.

Excellent hotel with great facilities (both hotel wise and golf wise) Staff were very friendly, especially the golf course manager and marshal. The food was great, with a number of options each night. Some parts of the hotel did look a little tired but this is a minor criticism. Highly recommend this resort.

Overall very impressed with the trip our only little gripe would be we had 4 rooms and we were spread far apart from each other some rooms had different standards ie some had tea and coffee making facilities some didn't, different size beds and bathrooms my room had no tv remote no kettle and had a loose handle in the bath and no English tv channels but it didn't spoil the trip well worth a visit and worth the money we paid will go back at some point in the future

As ever great stay. Very disappointing that the only bar that was open was the Club House.Building work was going on at various parts of the complex without much consideration for the guests. Great cleaning staff and breakfast staff - thank you.

Room and accommodation were good. Food and drink very expensive and limited service. Eg. Two starters, two drinks and two coffees were €48. Buffet €30/person (only open weekends). Italian only open afternoons. I wonder why? Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was our third visit to this hotel and on each occasion the hotel and the staff have been excellent. The rooms are of a high standard as well as all the other facilities

Lovely hotel and staff we have stayed here many times it is a hidden gem in Benidorm and we will be going back.

Positives High standard hotel Beach bar was great Pool areas superb Breakfast was excellent Rooms decent Close enough to benidorm for cabs in. Negatives No where to grab snacks. Seems strange that the pool bar didnt serve food, and all restaurants had to be prebooked despite being empty! Nowhere to buy snacks or Big bottles of water. Crazy! On arrival 1 room wasnt ready then they gave us a double. On checkout 1 room was given bill for £1000 plus for golf even though prepaid. This was sorted though. Clubhouse poor. Closed early and no tv for ryder cup and not very inviting.

Loved the Villaitana - the hotel and it’s facilities were absolutely first class, as were the golf courses. Staff on reception very helpful and friendly, although those in the restaurant adjacent to reception were less so, rarely a smile and felt at times that we were an interruption to them. But this is a small gripe - great hotel, great golf courses, excellent location.

There was 8 of us and we all agreed we would stay here again. Staff were not the quickest, but you are in Europe and a bit payed back.

We had hoped to be in The Level, which we thought we had booked, but we had an upgraded room in the main hotel. Breakfast and evening meals were later than previously which made it hard to play early golf. Also the main restaurant closed for the last three days so we had to go to the restaurant in the other part of the hotel.

We upgraded at 60 euros per night the room we were originally allocated was fine but we wanted more space & golf view. We also purchased the food deal at 20 euros a night each but sadly the food was very disappointing. The resort is beautiful, clean, friendly staff & it was quiet just what we were looking for.

bathroom could do with a walk-in shower we were offered an upgrade room for 15 euros per night other than that rooms were comfortable

Lovely hotel and very good value for money. The room was comfortable, but we were put into the worst part of the hotel for views. We were on the ground floor and hidden in a shaded corner with no view. I called ahead to ask if we could get a room with a view, but the staff member I spoke to wasn't helpful at all. The service from staff was also pretty slow. Golf was great, I'd definitely visit again - I'd just want to have a room with a view.

This is the 4th time ive stayed here (booked with your golf travel), and is by far the worst stay all round. For a start, there were 3 single lads and we were promised a larger, triple room by both Golf travel and the hotel upon check in. Arrived at the room and only 2 beds in the room in a standard room. We called reception immediately and were told to go play golf as planned and it would be sorted when we returned. It wasn't sorted when we arrived back in the room. We called reception again and advised we were heading out for the night and could it be sorted on the 2nd day when again playing golf. Again it wasn't sorted. meaning 2 guys had to share 1 bed / set of bedding throughout the trip. On the 3rd day, we got up early to watch rugby world cup and decided to order room service as had missed breakfast times. Ordered 3 x sandwiches and thought would arrive quickly. Got a call 60 mins later advising room service would take another 20-30 mins and told it would be quicker if we came to collect. Which completely defeats the point of room service and information would be nice to know from the start. 35 mins later when room service arrived (so 95 mins in total), only 1 sandwich arrived. Waiter apologised, told us he would bring another 2 and give us it all for free. Arrived another 20 mins later. So almost 2 hours in total for 3 sandwiches. In a 4/5 star hotel. Which we didn't enjoy because of the situation and the fact we were now in a rush to get out. Got an apology for the food mess up, but never the bed situation. mentioned on check out but got told we got the food for free. Like we should be grateful. All round poor experience from a hotel ive always enjoyed in my 5 visits in the past.

The hotel was great, there was only one person serving at the bar most of the time.

The whole experience was great. The golf was brilliant. Had a great time with the lads. The only disappointment was our room size and location. Other rooms when we stayed before were much better.

2nd year we’ve stayed here the hotel is amazing great value for money and great location just outside the the heart of Benidorm

Room was a disgrace. Staff too busy to take my complaints. Contacted Your Golf who were equally useless at assisting during my stay and no contact when I returned.Very poor experience all round.

Overall the Hotel was very good, however they did not have enough bar staff to cater for the amount of people staying, the bar service was exceptionally poor.

Room upgraded on arrival and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar staff were all over the place, very slow service even with little customers. The room was cleaned every day and clean towels were always available.

The hotel and facilities were really good, but let down by bar and restaurant prices which were exorbitant, ate and drank in Benidorm Each night taxi to and from resort 14 euros ew, but still cheaper than Resort.

The hotel is quite strange - set out as a Spanish village. The buildings which house the hotel rooms are very spread out (which is good, but if you have mobility issues or are lazy; not so good). The pools are simply amazing, at least 5 separate and absolutely huge. The complex is a 10 minute taxi ride from Benidorm (which should be avoided if you wish to retain your sanity). The golf courses are a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurants vary; the included (for some packages) lunch / dinner seemed varied and OK (we didn't eat there). The Italian Casa Nostra was good. The bar food option was OK. Service can be very slow. There is entertainment every night in the square in high season (what we saw was excellent!). If you are a golfer, or a family with a preference for on site amenities then this could be for you. Looking for action - look elsewhere. The summer season is family dominated. The on-site conference centre seems to attract a lot of corporate events and stays (which had no impact on our holiday).

Amazing hotel with friendly staff and a great location with all the facilities you could need , excellent value for the money 5 stars .Very clean and welcoming facilities .Only very tiny downfall is no atm onsite but lets be honest most people use contactless nowadays, other than that would highly recommend the hotel and facilities .

The hotel is very good standard the staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable but no tea making facilities the location was a little out of the way but we knew that when booking. No entertainment at night so needed taxi to go out at night

5 star resort, what a wonderful place. We all loved it. Rooms were amazing, choice of pools. One heated outdoor ! Breakfast was ok, plenty of choice ( omelet made to order was brilliant ) Only one bar, restaurant was open ( food was not to good ) We had to get taxis to Benidorm every night.

It's been a few years since my last visit here, and I found it to be much better now. It wasn't bad before, but the standard everywhere has been raised. Check-in and -out were easy and efficient, and staff were universally friendly and efficient and clearly motivated to provide excellent service. The bedroom was quite small but very comfortable, with good en-suite facilities and a balcony. Breakfasts were superb, with a huge choice of foods, eggs cooked to order, and great coffee. The bar had outside tables which was a pleasant place to sit and admire the architecture of the hotel.

Hotel is ideal for golfers and conferences, I have stayed here a couple of times before but going out of season (January) we only had one bar open for drinks, breakfast lunch and dinner. Only off menu only! The last morning the buffet restaurant was opened and was very good.

golf course Hotels don't come any better than this. If I had one complaint it would be the hotel is massive, so if you are not near the reception it can be quite a walk to the facility's. But all in all a really comfortable stay.

Our room was in the 5 star section of this hotel & was large & well furnished & comfortable. It had a sofa, armchair & 2 desks, a well-stocked fridge & a separate dressing room & storage area. There was also 2 doors to an external terrace with furniture, which was excellent for sunbathing in November (20*C)! The beds were very comfortable & it was so quiet at night that your sleep was not disturbed.The staff were brilliant, & we ate an excellent breakfast each morning seated on the external terrace next to one of the swimming pools.

Hotel and room very good once we turned off the air con which was heating the room too much. At this time of year resort was very quiet maybe a little too quiet for some but Benidorm is on the doorstep.

been here six times so all in all very good,i booked the same rooms as the previous year with loads of notice but where given rooms in the main block.

The actual hotel is fantastic especially the pool areas. The only thing that let it down was the rooms are a bit tired looking . We booked 3 twin rooms but we where told on arrival we had been upgraded to a family suit.problem is for 4 men only 3 beds plus a sofa bed with no linen.we managed to get some bedsheets the next day only for them to be taken again the following morning. Apart from this we enjoyed our time at melia villaitana.

The hotel which is a reproduction of a typical Spanish is wonderfully recreated . The layout of the many swimming pools is tastefully done and well thought out. Rooms very comfortable and as we had a south facing balcony great for sitting out. Breakfast variations plentiful and of good quality. Bars reasonably priced, the overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxed and enjoyable.

Staff very unhelpful to one of our party who lost a bag. Eventually found on Saturday. We were asked by member of staff at breakfast what improvementcould be made. We asked for tea and coffee in room. Later that day a kettle arrived. The next day a couple of packs of tea and sugar. No coffee no milk. Bar service very slow .

Beautiful hotel. Ideal as a B &B location for the the accompanying two golf courses. A 15 minute taxi ride into the town

The hotel is great. Loads of space, excellent rooms, fantastic pools and a beautiful elevated location with wonderful views.

Excellent value for money although the condition of the Poniente course was a real let down & the lack of availability of buggies was also an issue.

The Hotel is formed like a traditional village, with reception, a bar and shops around a square. Buildings were really impressive and gave a lovely atmosphere. Reception were excellent, very helpful with restaurants, taxis and an overcharge refund when someone charged a spa treatment to the lads room, when we were all out on the golf course. You can also have a 5* service option in a separate part of the hotel where drinks are included. Rooms were really nice, well looked after. 2 big pools, one with a beach. Poolside bar and restaurant, tapas restaurant, Italian restaurant, bar on main square plus small shop. Great views from the pools over the local area. Would definitely use this Hotel as a base again , play each course once , then book rounds on nearby courses. The hardest bit was that there wasn't anywhere to store your golf clubs at the golf centre... Only 200 metres from the hotel , but the transport wasn't always available ....the golf management could do with offering a golf club lockers. Again this may have been sorted, hope so.

Levante Course

YGT is the best company that I have travelled with with our group. Surprisingly everything went so smoothly from the airport and transfers to and from hotel. Great!!!

We really enjoyed our stay and only 12 minutes from Benidorm. you can leave your clubs in a secure room down next to the start, saves dragging them back and forth. plenty of pools for a dip. Would return no problem.

Perfect but I am afraid now that the prices in Spain seem to have gone up quite a bit.

Been on trips with YGT now for the last 8 years & fantastic service every time would recommend them to anyone.

Very good hotel. The 2 courses were very good but could do with a bit more sand in the bunkers.

A lovely place to stay ( if your playing golf )We like everything about it. We've been there for the last 5 years. The 19th hole is also very good overlooking the golf course . Food there is also very good and good choice.

Thank you for arranging the golf break to Melia Villaitana that my son and I have just enjoyed. When my son suggested the break a quick call to you was all it took for us to have some fantastic options, having made the choice of destination the booking was smooth and trouble free. The resort was perfect for us with everything we needed on site and reasonably priced. The contrast in the two courses made for an excellent holiday golfing experience. Unfortunately neither of us managed a birdie but plenty of pars and some quality father and son time. The odd gorse bush on my home course will hold no fears now after the spectacular challenges of the Poniente couse. We are already looking forward to our next holiday with you.

Ridiculous course, no par 5s. My company hated it.

This is the longer of the two courses, but nevertheless is the one to walk if you like walking as it is relatively flat. The fairwayse are generally wide. But there are lots of bunkers. Our only grouch is that one day we were given a tee time of 13.48 and the sun set about 18.15. There were some slow four balls in front of us and it was touch an go whether we would get round in time. We just made it, but those behind us were not so lucky. So do not accept any tee time afte 13.00

Looking at the cardm you would think this a Mickey Mouse course, with 10 par threes. However, it is fairly spectacular and duffed shots are severely punished. The greens needed rolling, but otherwise not too bad. It is best to use a buggy on this course as it is pretty hilly. (Unless you are young and fit). Overall I liked this course, but that may be because I got my first ever eagle on the 18th par four.

Both our allocated Tee Off times were far too late in the afternoon. We were unable to complete two rounds on the course 12 holes on day one and 13 holes on day two. Extremely disappointing experience.

If you know what this course Is before you play you will enjoy it. Short course with lots of drivable par 4s and short par 3s. We always play a scramble and have great fun.

The greens are usually very good unfortunately this time they were a bit disappointing. The sand is never good but I would still recommend this course.

Extremely interesting course that transverses a canyon in many places, need a buggy as very hilly but great scenery and a lot of fun.

Enjoyed the course, although it is quite long and difficult with bunkers around most of the greens. Pace of play was fine, we were not held up at all or chased along.

Tough short golf course all par 3's & 4's. Buggies supplied as too difficult to walk. Although shorter than the average course, it's still a challenge, any off line shots are usally lost in the trees & bushes. Well worth playing once on your holiday.

Couse was in great condition for September, no complaints. Make sure buggies are ordered at time of booking. Greens in good condition. Greens are target golf as ball stops instantly from most heights.

Very disappointed- nice little course but some tees were “blue” and very close to greens and all greens were hollowtined and sanded. We should have been informed of this!!!!

Be aware this is a short course, only par 62. We had missed this in the booking which was frustrating.

This is the fourth time I have played this course, it was shut for maintenance for 2 weeks prior and obviously not fully recovered some areas were a bit ropey. May not be true but feel as though there are more bunkers now than previous, this made is very challenging for the average 18HCP golfer, also buggies not able to get anywhere near to the greens, roped well back so a lot of walking with hand full of clubs.... it was a challenge, but of course still enjoyable.

A great starting course for the golfing week all par 3 and 4 holes, some a little challenging but overall a nice set up to get into it all.

The golf course was lovely. It was challenging in its lenght, bunkers and water features but was quite forgiving with the width of the fairways allowing mistakes. Pleased we did same course twice so we could compare the 2 days

Clubhouse and staff were brilliant couldn't do enough for us and the clubhouse took money course was tuff wind made it worse, greens covered in pitch marks , bunkers a disgrace for type of facility , no sand and very gritty, attitude of players disgraceful and some shouldn't be near a golf course , waiting up to 10 mins on every tee

With a fairly strong wind it made this difficult course harder . It is the type of course that you have to plot your way around course . Some excellent holes some with a lot of water . Course in very good condition with fast and difficult greens , many bunkers a lot on fairways and greens also surrounded by them. Second game was slightly easier as not so strong wind but still a real challenge.Pleasure to play both courses .

Played this course before it is a very difficult short course . On day wind was gusting and made some holes more difficult . Always a pleasure to play this course , it is not the type of course you will play very often and therefore very enjoyable . Greens very difficult .

An open course with a lot of bunkers and undulating greens. It sits high above Benidorm and there are great views of the surrounding area. A very fair course which played well, bunkers are the main hazard with very wide fairways

This course is very short, a lot of par 3s with long carries across gullies and surrounded by pampas grass and bunkers. Buggies are mandatory and difficult to find your way round first time. It’s quite a little challenge but a bit disappointing to play this course twice and the longer course only once

Excellent fun little par 3/ 4 course. Some tough tee shots and tricky greens as this style of course demands.

Our rounds were well planned and marshalled. The amount this course gets played the greens were excellent and the clubhouse after were great. Friendly people here!

Good condition, layout a little confusing at times. Couple of holes across the ravines were difficult for our older ladies to reach especially as the tall vegetation in front of the greens both protected and obscured the landing areas and greens. Overall a bit quirky and a course where average to good golfers could leave their woods at home.

We did enjoy this course which as in good condition and well laid out using all terrain available. Greens very receptive and good speed however we felt this course was very unfair at times with numerous bunkers in the middle of fairways. I feel you should be allowed to drive straight up a fairway and only penalised by bunkers if you stray off it. On some holes it was impossible to get to greens because of the number and size of the bunkers in front of them, specially for the ladies in our group. Played this course 3 times as a 4 ball and it took us over 5 hours every time, with buggies, too long as at home we’re less then 4 hours on 6000m course walking.

If your a 2 ball then a 2 hour round as its a very samll course....mostly a pitching wedge and putter. Majority of par 3 holes with stunning high elevation holes and views.

Not the cheapest at 90 euros per person and buggy hire was 40 euros. Yes you could play after 3pm and it was slightly cheaper however the heat etc made it challenging especially when you're waiting 5/10 minutes on the tees during slow play.

A proper full size course which has some challenging holes. In lovely condition, played it 3 times and really enjoyed it.

10 par 3's 8 par 4's, it was a slow round waiting for greens to clear. Overall enjoyed playing it twice, we swapped a third round on poniente for one on levante at our cost.

Don’t be fooled by the yardage of this little gem. Use driver at your peril as bunkering is there to catch you. You had better pack your Short Game.

Unfortunately we were told we hadn’t had buggies reserved when I did ask YGT to book them. Had to pay €300 extra for 6 buggies and it was touch and go as to availability.

Whilst only being half the distance of Levante this course is full of surprises and you definitely need the buggy.

Great courses, a halfway house would be a good addition, especially on Levante as its a 5.45 hour round. There is a buggy bar, but only once if your lucky.

The shorter course but a wonderful experience. Lots of bunkers, quick greens with tricky pin positions so accuracy and touch is so important. On reflection, I think I enjoyed this more than the signature Levante.

Played the course last in 2021, the course on a whole as approved in quality, since then, booking the courses through yourself makes it good value if you walked of the street and paid the asking price for golf and buggy you would be disappointed as on a whole the the club house and buggies are very tried. Happy I played but won’t be back

Played this course twice, it is tricky any long hitters can keep the driver in the bag. I mainly used a 3 wood. The greens are in good condition and fast if I had one gripe about the course was the bunkers if you went in a fairway bunker the sand was compacted so you could play straight out of them. The bunkers around the greens was the same so you could just use a lob wedge, however later in the round I came across bunkers with a different type of sand. The course is walkable I hired a pull / push trolley cost 12 euros. Buggy hire was 50 euros. Most greens and tee beds are close with exception of the 11th 16th. Tee off slots are every 8mins they will make up 4 four balls. Played with Dutch and German golfers. They let me leave my clubs in a store within the club shop. The staff connected with the golf and club house are very helpful. Overall an enjoyable trip

This is a short course no par 5s, some of the holes are quite short. The greens are true and very fast.

nice experiance, some slightly scruffy tee boxes, in my opinion buggies should be upgraded to have course maps and yardage. Also made to pay 16 euro per buggy a day for insurance that seemed a scam.

Loved it, what place and all the back drops were stunning. Can't say more than 19° the whole stay. Club house fabulous. A challenge but we love a challenge.

Great course with challenging holes.

Par 72 course which is a fair test for golfers of any level. Good mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s. Tonnes of bunkers (most unraked - course could do with more rakes but still no excuse from fellow golfers for not raking them). The greens were amazing, very large and very quick so a real test for your flat stick. The green keeper suggested they were up to 11 on stimpmeter. Golf staff were very friendly, special mention to Carlos (course marshall) - Toon Toon! Driving range is handily placed to club house, although range balls could be improved, they were very hard and almost impossible to see them land. Good short game practice facilities with at least 3 putting / chipping greens dotted around.

Don’t let the fact it’s a short course (par 62) put you off. The course had some stunning holes over valleys and ravines. Premium on accuracy with your shorter clubs, so a great test no matter what your level. Greens were amazing, very quick even for February. Only complaint is not aimed at the course but more other golfers, with most bunkers unraked and there were many unrepaired pitch marks.

A great course to test the short game. The greens were extremely fast and certainly testing. Thought the bunkers should have sand in them rather than grit.

We played it three times during our stay. It was very enjoyable each time with certain challenges and beautiful views overlooking Benidorm.

A par 62 course with no par 5's which is fine, but very testing and so I suggest you take many golf balls in your bag.

Tee boxes and fairways good, the greens were lightning quick and in great condition. The only problem was that our tee times on our travel booking documents were incorrect so when we went for our first round scheduled for 10:04hrs we were told by their pro-shop that it was booked for 09:08hrs and so they had to change things around with the tee times for the other days as-well. But in the end it turned out ok.

The course is very short but in great condition, take it for what it is and you can have lots of fun on it. Drivable par 4s and lots of par 3s it’s perfect if you want a day off serious golf.

Great course the only reason it’s not getting 5 stars the bunkers are like gravel and we had no clue how to play them. 2 in are group are low handicappers and would have liked to play off the white tees. But in general this is a great spot for golf. Theresa in the clubhouse was an angel and looked after us so well.

Lovely little course, greens u fortunately same as lavante, pro shop needs a word, very rude gentleman behind desk, wanting €50 for insurance of first member to go and ask for buggies, also got very mad as we went in a group at a time and had to tell everybody separately to go to the shed to collect and not here, unfortunately no buggies in the shed so had to take from front which seemed to confuse them.

Only Complaint was the state of the greens, a lot of pitch marks and just looked untidy, bunkers seem to have builders sand so greens also had a lot of small stones so if you missed one on your line would obviously effect roll

Very nice course in good condition. Make sure you pre book buggys. Easy walking with good views and interesting holes.

Although only par 3 & 4's this course is not easy and you need a buggy. Very nice changes in elevation but very tight. In good condition.

Loved both courses the Poniente even though small had some difficult pins to hit so think about your club choice.

Got round the course quickly as you’d expect with a shorter course, didn’t see anyone else playing it either so was very relaxing. Some very short holes, some fun challenging ones too.

Enjoyed the course, but gave up after 9 holes / 3 hours of being stuck behind people in the heat. Someone said it can take 6.5 hours on busy days like this. We were promised “UNSUNG HEROES 6 j DOZEN LIMITED EDITION BALLS, EU 12 to 15”, however they wasn’t sent out by your golf travel or given to us at the golf shop when we enquired so ended up being an extra expense. Also, we found it odd the buggy wasn’t included in this course as it was longer, but one was included for the short course.. another money spinner?

We enjoyed the course, in spite of many bunkers! The organisation at the club was good and buggies were in good condition. Although the course was busy there was very little waiting around. Toilets on the course were clean.

A well designed resort course with plenty of bunkers to test your accuracy from tee to green. A good mix of challenging par 3's and long par 5's with ample opportunities to score well. Thoroughly enjoyable and in great condition.

A pleasant par 64 course so a nice way to start the trip. Its hilly so you have to have a buggy, course and greens generally in good condition with some holes being rather short.

Loved this course, although small there was many challenges to face.

Unfortunately the greens had work done in them which made them unplayable the first day however a couple days later they were in better condition.

we really like this course but it had been hollow tined the day before we play which made putting very difficult

even though its a par 62 this is a test and people that i've talked to after they played have enjoyed it

A very short but extremely demanding golf course. Lots of incredibly difficult par 3s. Would play it completely different if I ever go back!

A good golf course with some really nice holes. Only downside was pace of play but whilst holidaying on a nice sunny day it wasn't that much of an issue :)

Nice course and ended up playing again on the Sunday as our pick up was 18:05 for our flight back to Glasgow which I also had to phone and get changed or I would have missed my flight as the pick up time on my itinerary was 21:05

Although the course was in very good condition. We found it very formulaic with the course layout dominated by bunkers. But the course marshall's are very good on jumping on slow groups and speeding them up. Lovely bar above the pro shop though with great food. Worth a visit!

It is a short course. But you have to plot your way round. We found the sand in the bunkers to be like grit. Which they have to be due to the wind. And annoyingly so many people don't repair pitchmarks. Just a few too many par 3's for our liking.

No refreshment buggy at all and unlike the other course no vending machine and nowhere near the club house. No info given about this

This course was very good to play, a good bit easier. We could only get a buggy for the second nine as we hadn’t booked one early enough, for the second nine we got the buggy free of charge, lightening greens all in good condition, again the bunkers I found a bit difficult to play out of but added to the challenge.

This course is quite short and is very challenging, very fast greens all in good condition, I found the bunkers difficult to play as they were shingle and very firm

A very quirky small up and down course with 10 Par 3s. Watch out for high handy capers on this one! if they play well they will get a unbelievable score!

Its a nice challenging course but with lots of big difficult bunkers in awkward spots. This might be why the rounds are slow. Also tee times are tight and some in buggies and some not. It would be better if buggies went out before trolleys and tee times were spread slightly.

Very windy when we played this short course which made it tough. Definitely need a buggy to get round. Interesting course but once is probably enough.

Only reason for not giving a five was the quality of sand/grit in the bunkers. As there are plenty of them they do come into play often. I would say low and high handicappers can play the course and get a fair challenge.

Poniente is a different challenge to Levante.Buggy essential. The short par 4s encourage good course management and a variety of par 3s are the highlights,especially the ones over the gullys.Dont underclub. I grew to like this course over the 3 rounds but would have preferred a wider choice of tees as only yellow and red were available . As with Levante the bunkers need attention and sand. An early tee time gets you round in 3 to 3.5 hours

Levante is a great layout providing a varied challenge of par3s, short and longer par 4s and excellent par 5s. The 12th is a memorable hole. Downside was only yellow and red tees were available for play during our stay. Bunkers are a major issue due to lack of sand and maintenance. Unfortunately they can only been described as brick hard. A shame as they are visually well placed attractive course features. Pace of play was an issue,one round 5 hours, but its holiday golf. Bring your putting touch to Levante or be good enough to hit the correct areas on the greens. Stay out the bunkers and you'll enjoy Levante

Good course overlooking the sea and Benidorm. Some forgiving fairways for those wayward drives, but also plenty of bunkers. Enjoyed it.

Wasn't expecting much as we thought it would be a glorified pitch and putt course, but we were in for a surprise. Very picturesque with some challenging holes, plus some par 4s where you could get the driver out.

Extraordinary course! Definitely need a buggy as extremely hilly Beautifully landscaped beside mountains with significant elevation drops. Not long (par 62), some short par 3's and several difficult and precise holes teeing over gullies to greens way below!

Lots of bunkers around each green which added to diffulty and quite a few sloping fairways and greens. Great views throughout Definitely suits long hitters and a buggy useful as quite hilly. Enjoyed playing it.

A little gem . Course in hills with a buggie provided it has ten par threes and eight short par fours . Some really excellent holes and a most enjoyable game of golf .Lots of bunkers and ravines to hit over some uphill some downhill . A very enjoyable and unusual course . Throughly recommend . Played a number of times . If you want an extra game we always play this course three hour game and holes that you rarely play at home .

The course is a good championship course . With some excellent holes . It is made difficult by lots of bunkers on fairways and also around greens , there is also a number of holes with a lot of water . Greens and fairways in excellent condition . The bunkers are filled with grit and some do not have enough grit it and are very difficult to get out of . It helps on fairway bunkers when looking to hit distance but around the greens it can be very difficult to hit good shots . This is my fourth visit and it has always been a problem with some of the bunkers .Buggies are a must and we had a deal with Yourgolf to provide . The round can be slow but even though course was busy we found it satisfactory .Our group have single handicap players and a couple of players with over 20 handicap all of us really enjoyed course . Would throughly recommend course .Have a good club house and bar is a little pricey .

the better course out of the 2 of them, most of the lads said yes to coming back here next year, but only play once on the poniente course

Overall the best of the 3 courses we played. Great location and nice views of the mountains on one side and Benidorm on the other. Course was in good condition, relatively wide fairways, but peppered with bunkers which adds to the degree of difficulty. A long 6.6km course, very enjoyable for the good as well as the average player.

Do not under estimate this course. It’s a very good challenge. Hilly and challenging. There are opportunities to use the driver but this is a course to plan your way around. Personally if you are at the resort for four rounds then play 2x2.

If you don’t play in a four ball you will have to be very patient. We played the course on three days and one in particular was very slow. Groups should not be able to play in a scramble format. There was no starter or Marshall. The drinks trolley was busy which suited in the heat.

Great little par 62 course with challenging par 3's and short driveable par 4's. Good course for beginners.

Really nice Championship course with great views of the sea and Benidorm. The round was very slow and the bar buggy didnt even come round to the group.

A very small course with long walks from greens to tees. Some of the holes were less than 50 metres long which is not even pitch and putt

We played after the greens and course had work done so not the best time to review, having said that we will play there again

We played just before the course was going to close for some well needed maintenance so it wouldn't be fair to criticise

Stunning wee course some very tricky holes don’t let the yardages fool u.

The course is only short at 3000m and you have to use a buggy. However the holes are interesting with lots of ravines and gully’s so you have to think about your shots. We all enjoyed the challenge

As not the greatest group of golfers we found the course challenging but a lot of fun. We thought we had buggies but unfortunately we had to walk the course. Which at first we not best pleased about but to be truthful the walk wasn’t as bad as we thought even thou the temperature was over 26degrees. The staff were helpful and we had a great day
