Set just minutes from Walt Disney World Resort, Waldorf Astoria Golf Club gives you a proper championship test in the middle of Orlando's biggest attractions. The 18-hole layout is by Rees Jones and, in typical Jones fashion, it asks you to think your way round rather than just grip it and rip it.
The real appeal here is the combination of serious golf and family-friendly location. You can get your round in, then head straight off to the parks, meet the rest of your group by the pool, or swap spikes for dinner and a bit of shopping nearby.
Before you tee it up, the practice facilities are a real plus. If you've flown in and you're a bit stiff, you can loosen up properly rather than turning up cold on the 1st. And if the course has bitten back, there's space to work on the shots that cost you.
Overall, this is a smart pick for golfers who want quality, convenience and a resort base that keeps the whole group entertained between tee times.
Who is this for?
Golfers heading to Orlando who want an easy-to-reach championship course close to Disney, plus groups mixing golf with theme parks and entertainment.
Who is it best for?
Mid-to-low handicappers who enjoy strategic golf and a challenge, and anyone planning a family holiday where golf is part of the trip rather than the whole trip.

We’ve got it all covered!
We have included everything that you need for a perfect golf trip including flights.
Designed by respected American Golf Course Architect Rees Jones, the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club takes inspiration from well-renowned golf courses around the world. It’s one of the finest 18-hole layouts in the area, making this a must for golfers visiting Orlando. The course backs onto the hotel, meaning this is the perfect place for those looking for a resort-style trip away.
Whilst the layout of this course serves up a respectable challenge for the more experienced golfer, there are options for those slightly newer to the game too with a five-tee system in place. There’s also the Waldorf Astoria Golf Academy where golfers can enjoy one-hour private lessons or group training sessions with teaching professionals. All golfers teeing it up here must visit the practice range and putting green beforehand which are a highlight.
The Clubhouse Grille at Waldorf Astoria Golf Club is an excellent choice to refuel after working up an appetite on the course. Enjoy burgers, salads, and light lunchtime bites with a cold drink whilst making the most of the sunshine out on the patio area.

This was probably one of the better courses we played it was in superb condition our only issue was the facilities after small locker room and only one shower available to guests.

Lovely location but greens in particular in very poor condition and locker room only had one shower which is not ideal for a party of 4 travelling to the airport after the round. We still enjoyed ourselves but clearly we were spoilt with the previous two courses and this was always going to be a bit of a come down.

The course was beautiful with very friendly staff. Unfortunately three of the greens had been badly damaged in recent storms. However once they return the course quality itself will be outstanding.

A nice course, that does not quite live up to some of it's illustrious neighbours but acts as a nice stocking filler if playing in partnership with them. The course itself felt at times a little bland, but some great holes and they have changed the shape of the course which has added a fantastic 16th hole, which was after probably the other best 3 holes. Worth playing.
