Found the set up tough although a US open qualifier had been played on it in previous days. Didn’t look in great condition and set up was tricky.

The course had seen some wear as they had just had a 4 round junior championship. Greens were in good condition although the tees were not in the best nick. Greens were slick and receptive. There was a real emphasis on getting round quickly and we were reminded several times to play a lot quicker. It did not make for a relaxed round. The sand was gritty/gravely and in total contrast to the UK. A good course but not the best.

Practice facilities nice, staff not very welcoming, unusual for USA, tees in poor state (lots of divots, old tees, longish grass). Course Ok but the six other courses we played were all better.
