Former PGA and US Open champion David Graham teamed up with the esteemed golf architect, Gary Panks, to create the Talon, one of the most exhilarating courses in the south west.

Like its brother, the Talon is included in GOLF Magazine's list of the ‘Top 100 Courses You Can Play', but its character is slightly different; visiting golfers will need pinpoint accuracy to find the demanding fairways and the multi-tiered greens. Grayhawk's Raptor Course is now a fully fledged PGA Tour host, welcoming the finest professionals for the Fry's Electronics Open, part of the October Fall Series. Designer Tom Fazio created the Raptor to be a daring game of risk versus reward, constantly challenging both the bravery and skill of its intrepid visitors.

The layout can reach a maximum of 7,221 yards, and is overlooked by the rugged mountains, and bordered by the local landscape's indigenous trees, including Saguaros, Palo Verde, Ironwood and Mesquite. Other accolades include having hosted the Anderson Consulting World Matchplay Championships, showing the outstanding quality of this Scottsdale classic.
