Built in accordance with USGA construction principles, the Els course is a marvel of modern golf course design, blending seamlessly with the natural terrain. Spectacular rocky outcrops combine with beautiful indigenous trees to create a sublime setting for championship golf, and the Anahita course is a true delight.
From the tournament tees the layout reaches a hefty 7,372 yards, more than a match for low handicappers, but there are five distinct sets of tees which mean that the course is set up to welcome golfers of all standards. The three closing holes, with views over the coastline, are among the most spectacular that can be experienced on any golf holiday course, while Anahita also boasts a 300-metre grass range and a charming Mauritian style clubhouse.
At the heart of the magnificent 213-hectare estate is the Anahita Resort's collection of 70 luxury residences; each one boasts one, two or three bedrooms with their own plunge pool and benefits from sublime views over either the tropical lagoon or the golf course. Standard interior facilities include complimentary WiFi, flat screen televisions with DVD player, bathrobes, safe deposit box, air-conditioning and separate living area.
For larger groups and families the Anahita villas are the perfect option; the three, four and five bedroom units have private swimming pools, well equipped kitchens, plus patios and gardens. The villas, equipped to a standard equal to the residences, are located on the fringes of the golf courses and ensure that added privacy and exclusivity for a relaxing trip to the secluded Anahita Resort.
In the resort Wellness centre guests can enjoy beauty treatments including massages and body scrubs, which can also be enjoyed in the beachside champas, while there is also a gym, swimming pools, tennis courts and a magical beach where many water sports are on offer. Enjoy a boat trip to the gorgeous Ile aux Cerfs or take a glass-bottom boat trip.
The resort has superb dining options, including the elegant Restaurant Origine, a refined a la carte experience, while guests are also welcome to enjoy the ‘dial-a-chef' service in villa/residence; the chef will design a special menu and cook it in your personal kitchen.

This is my wife and my second visit to Anahita, and we were welcomed ‘back home’ personally by name by the many staff who we had met on our previous stay in 2017. The Prestige Suite apartments are superb. We were given the same apartment we had on our first visit, looking out onto the 9th green. The apartment is huge at 180 sq meters (2,000 sq ft) including the covered patio with dining area, plunge pool and sun lounger area. Everyone is super friendly and the quality of service is outstanding. The four restaurants are all brilliant, with the main one, Origine, having many chefs predominantly cooking your meal in front of you to order. The Mauritius winter time (our summer) is great for golf, as the temperature is still in the mid 20’s and on average, less rainfall than their summer. We only had one significantly wet day in the 14 day holiday. We played golf every day except the wet one, with alternate rounds on Anahita and Ile aux Cerfs (on the island). All in all, a fantastic holiday and we will definitely be returning to Anahita in the next two or three years.

We had an apartment with a seaview which was extremely high standard. Many of the villas are owned privately, so it doesn't feel like a normal Hotel. The food at the restaurant was exceptionally good. The staff were very friendly.

First time at Anahita. The hotel and facilities are nice but not as good as expected. Location is fantastic and the food was delicious. The private beach at Ile aux Cerfs is awesome. And of course, the staff is very friendly.

Great rooms, spacious and smart, very comfortable overall, the staff are fantastic and very helpful, make guests feel special. The food is excellent ( we were half board) probably better in Origine and Il Forno than Bliss but overall - excellent. But be prepared for very high drink prices, wine is overpriced and eye-watering at times! But the quality of the place is really good and the setting on the beach is spectacular- we would return so that says it all.

Lovely apartment with lots of space. Gardens and grounds beautifully maintained. Restaurants at the resort were limited. One buffet and two a la carte. The hotel was very quiet and at times the restaurants lacked atmosphere.

Anahita as a location was perfect for our holiday, nothing was a problem for the staff, the food quality was excellent in all restaurants and the facilities were truly 5 star.

We now think that we are the unluckiest travellers with your golf travel. A flood in the room. Blamed us for spilling water. The flood caused damage to shoes and a bag. A visit from the mini bar man at 10.35pm Cleaning the room above, scraping furniture on the floor at 6am in the morning. Came back from golf and our suite door was left open. Air con did t work properly. One did then that broke. Finally fixed the following day. Only two bath towels and had to do each day for a couple more.

Another great golf course. Much more forgiving than ils aux Cerfs but made difficult by its length. The tapas in the clubhouse post round was fantastic and the facilities were excellent. Met by former tour pro Thomas Levet after one round. Very welcoming and friendly.

Tee choices are important as obviously determines course difficulty and speed of play. Great course. What would help everyone is if they look at handicaps and try to take that into account for pairing up tee times ie not pairing low handicaps with beginners

A typical Ernie Ells course , long and repetitive. We arrived at a number of holes with a sense of deja- vu. We felt the other course we played was much much better Transport from airport to hotel was far too small , we asked and received a larger vehicle for the return

Amazing experience from arrival. Service minded staff, great range and practice facilities. Added bonus with snacks and cold beverages at the range as well. Great conditions and great course with amazing views

Amazing course! It is very long and challenging but lovely wide open fairways that require good strategic approaches depending on whether you are a long hitter or not. I would advise checking the plans for competitions before booking as they do tend to have a few events that can restrict your tee times.

One of the best courses we have played on. The condition was superb as were the facilities. It was a bit slow the first time then better the second. The views are stunning, you could not fault the course.

Excellent. A great test. First two round were difficult as fairways had not been cut, probably due to impending weather but third round course was immaculate. Restaurant food and bar prices were excessive.

The Anahita Ernie Els design course weaves through the Anahita/Four Seasons resort, with occasional villas between the fairways, albeit generally set well back from the areas of play. Compared to Ile aux Cerfs, it is significantly longer, but more open with some unusual challenges such as meandering stone walls. All the staff at the club are super friendly and helpful and the practice facilities are good. The golf pro shop is well stocked and has very helpful staff. The course was in good condition, if a little damp in some areas due to unseasonable rain in the weeks before our holiday. We had to avoid the fairways and drive down the semi rough in our buggy on some days if there was rain the previous night. The greens were in good condition. Being able to alternate games on the two very different character golf courses is brilliant, as you have unlimited rounds on both courses included in your package.

One of the best golf courses I have played on, excellent practice facilities and a wonderful golf course which is quite long from the white tees, but maintained to a very high standard. The greens were outstanding.

In lovely condition with fast greens (October) and some challenging holes but generally a little easier than Ile Aux Cerfs. Again- all 6 of us (mixed group) enjoyed it. Happy to return and play there again.

This was not booked in so I had to play alone. I was also not informed that buggies would be an extra.

Not such an impressive course as Ile Aux Ceufs but completely different, very good and challenging. Again prices quite high and also we could not play all our rounds there as it does not cope as well with rainfall, one of our days was called of due to waterlogged course but it is what it is, still a good course and we did enjoy it very much

Tee times confirmed by yourgolftravel before I went bore no resemblence to those at Anahita Golf Reception. As other people had tee times as expected this seems like a yourgolftravel issue. I emailed yourgolftravel on my first day there for some help and assistance. Got no response at all!! Hopeless!!

Els Club is a great test of golf, the course played long into the ever present warm breeze, fairways were generous however the greens and runoff areas provide the real challenge to your handicap.

Most days we were round in 3 hours. One day we were sent off the 10th and got round in 2 45! On the last day it was very busy and we were paired up with another couple who were lovely. Pro shop very expensive and need to offer tax free ( not have to ask) Golf guys very helpful. Had to come in one day as very slow and the next time we played they only charged us for 9 holes for the buggy. Practice facilities good too.
