Golf Courses at Casa de Campo Golf Resort & Villas

Teeth of the Dog Course

Dye famously stated that ‘I created eleven holes and God created seven'; to explain this, it is necessary to have some insight into the remarkable terrain that the course spans. The seven holes that track the craggy Dominican coastline represent an unforgettable golfing experience, where the margins for error are barely visible, but where the views are truly mind-blowing.

The Links

With wide fairways giving way to challenging green complexes highlighted by tricky, undulating putting surfaces, The Links golf course showcases the artistry of Pete Dye’s genius. This shotmaker’s 18 weaves through our beautiful, verdant resort grounds while offering spectacular vistas of the Caribbean Sea from several holes.

Dye Fore

Twenty-seven-hole Dye Fore joined Teeth of the Dog® in 2002. Its three nines – Chavon, Marina and Lagos– are distinct. Chavon features 5 cliff side holes dropping 300 feet, Marina plays down the Chavon rivers and offers panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the Marina at Casa de Campo.

The onsite team at Casa was incredible, we had some travel delays but they worked with us to ensure we fit in as much golf as possible and amended their scheduling. Staff across the resort were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 4 bedroom resort villa which was very comfortable, clean, lots of room with an amazing pool and outdoor resort feel. The restaurants at the resort were excellent, definitely recommend the All Inclusive package.

We took an all inclusive deal and were not disappointed with the food and drink - there’s a huge range of restaurants and food available and the breakfast and lunch buffets were especially good. The hotel has every facility you could want, a huge range of sports, a concierge service, spa, salon, and really good health facilities and gym.

The above rating is for the villa we stayed in. Great size but very dated. Bathrooms and kitchen need upgrading. Staff were poor in re supplying coffee and beer.

An enjoyable stay overall. We would have liked more printed information available at check-in or in the rooms. The extensive use of QR codes for the facilities was a bit annoying and we only found out about some things by word of mouth and too late in the day. The restaurants were mostly excellent but the Minitas Beach Club really disappointed. Early booking for dinner is essential at most restaurants - we could only get a bar snack on one occasion. Our return transfer was not recorded on the hotel's computer system and we spent an anxious 35 minutes waiting for a ride to the airport.

Overall staff were excellent. Very slow in serving in the bar area on an evening, bearing in mind a lot of the customers were catching shuttles. Felt very safe we covid, temperature taken on entering all restaurants, and masks worn in crowded areas. Not sure how much there would be to do if not playing golf. Why wasn't the mini bar in room not all inclusive?

The complex was rather bigger than we expected, having moved across from the Westin at Punta Cana. Our Deluxe Patio room was very disappointing - a tiny fenced in patio with no view whatsoever Our room was constantly infested with mosquitos, probably not helped by the long grass in the field adjacent. We also had problems with our first two transport buggies The staff and restaurants were excellent

Only one restaurant on site for dinner. Free shuttle available to take you to the Marina and Altos de Chavon for alternative dining, included in all inclusive package.

Whole experience was fabulous, from the minute we arrived until picked up for airport return. Personal golf buggy facilitated movement around the resort, in particular to the beach and restaurants. Excellent choice of restaurants - La Casita at the Marina had fantastic seafood. Lovely beach - quiet and safe swimming. All staff couldn't be more helpful. Room overlooked 10th on Teeth of the Dog, and had lovely balcony to sit on in the evening. We were on all-inclusive and would strongly recommend to others - pay as you go guests had 15% + 8% taxes + expected gratuity on top of all food and drinks.
