The Dye Fore course boasts an impressive set of statistics: 27 holes, a length of over 7,600 yards, 7 picturesque cliff-side holes descending 300 feet to the Chavón River, and panoramic 360-degree views. A masterpiece that offers unparalleled views of the Dominican Republic mountains, the Chavón River, the Marina, and Altos de Chavón.
Throw in occasional 30 mph trade winds from the East and you have a course that can challenge the very best. Take on Dye Fore from the appropriate tees though and the course is not all about brute strength and ignorance, as mind boggling undulations, changes in elevation and a never ending series of holes that wind both left to right and right to left mean every facet of a golfer’s game must be razor sharp from start to finish.
Boasting some of the best views on the whole resort, the Dye Fore Course is one of the best courses in the Caribbean offering plenty of excellent photo opportunities.

With 3 different 9 hole courses, there are plenty of options to challenge you! Wide sweeping fairways for the most part are easy off the tee, the greens are very well protected with bunkers and/or elevations. Consistent fairway lies makes it easy to find your way around and beautiful views make up for any bad golf shots.

Dye Fore was my surprise favourite of the holiday; located up in the cliffs slightly away from the sea, it has extraordinary views over a river canyon and rainforests and is tough but spectacularly beautiful.

Although mentioned as not required, you do require a golf caddy at a cost of 50Us plus tip. A local rip off and a job for the boys

Lovely course with beautiful views - recommend Chavon/Marina loops - Lakes 9 not as good (or pretty). Mandatory caddies now required on this course but ineffective in maintaining pace of play. Tough track, not for beginners.

Chavron front 9 very difficult followed by slightly easier back 9. Caddie required. Very slow. Facilities poor. No locker room. Golf excellent.

Very exposed and tricky on a really windy day. We were not advised which back nine to play and wandered around a bit after our first nine. The second time we played it we saw other groups who were also confused. There were no rangers or drinks buggies on the course, but a couple of 'half way houses'. The course was a bit easier when the wind had died down for our second round. I think Marina is generally preferred to Lagos for the back nine.

Only played the Marina and Chavon. The Marina easier than the Chavon but not a walkover. The Chavon on a cliff top so very windy, great views. Again greens very fast. Game slowed down on the Chavon because of the challenges. You can expect 4.30/5 hours depending what's in front of you. Bunkers very stoney. Lacking of food refreshments when finished (may be because of covid?)

The second nine were amazing, some of holes reminded me of the old Monte Mayor course in Spain. Great experience

We got first tee time (0800) and zipped round first nine in no time - two -tee start meant we had time for a coffee (and a snooze!) before playing back nine. Beautiful course in fantastic condition. Wonderful views over Marina and Chavon river. Tees available to suit all standards. The third nine (the Lakes) is not as well maintained and would recommend always playing the Marina and Chavon loops
