The DoubleTree by Hilton La Torre 5* hotel offers 122 luxury double rooms with large bathrooms and balcony views of the lake or pool. In addition to these are 11 suites ranging from Junior, Deluxe, Presidential to Royal options. Each room provides a relaxing stay for guests with comfortable furniture and top of the range equipment.
Restaurant options include La Vinoteca, a fine dining restaurant offering an extensive menu of dishes cooked with locally sourced ingredients. The Vinoteca Bar situated by the restaurant overlooks the lake and golf course providing superb evening views while you sit back and relax with a range of designer tapas and a cocktail or two.
The Al Fresco Pool Bar, located next to the infinity pool, is the perfect place for a light Mediterranean snack, salad, fresh fish, grilled meat or a selection of delicious paellas. While the Ginkgo Restaurant serves up a daily breakfast buffet, made-to-order omelettes and freshly prepared dishes in the evenings.

Rooms are of a great size, very clean. Only a 20 min drive from the airport so no issues with travelling time.

It does not appear that anyone from YGT has recently inspected the hotel. It is not a golf hotel and even Double Tree only rate it 3.5 star and not 5 as per brochure. There are no porters at the hotel. We were placed in a room far from reception and had to drag luggage. The room had only half a balcony and we could not get on it or use it. It did not appear that YGT guests were very important to the hotel. The lake surrounding the hotel is 25% full you could see the liner. It smelt and was stagnant and had empty bottles round the side The is no pro shop at the hotel and the hotel has nothing to do with the golf. The is no clubhouse at the hotel or on the course. There is a caddy shack on the course some 1/2 mile from the hotel where you sign in and collect buggies. The hotel did not offer golf bag storage facilities. We are used to golf hotels that have good golf facilities and this had none. The timings for the transfers to the courses were wrong. Both courses are about 20 minutes away at most but we were collected 1.5 hours in advance. The taxi company were very efficient however.

Very nice looking hotel however we had requested 2 single beds per room and on arrival it was a double. We then had to wait until 5.30pm (check in time is 3pm) until another room was arranged. Room was clean but there was no iron when there should have been and there a 3 hangers in the cupboard so back to reception we went again. Some of the staff were not very friendly, and we felt as if we were annoying them. There is a nice choice of resturaunts surrounding the hotel and a few bars.

Hotel offered everything we required, it was clean and breakfast was included. We did not need to leave the resort to go to dinner as there was restaurants and bars on site. We would definitely go back.
