Founded in 1889 and part of the James Braid Trail, Golspie Golf Club is situated at the base of Ben Bhraggie, and offers fantastic views over the Dornoch Firth.

Golspie is in a clutch of World Renowned Golf Courses, Royal Dornoch, Brora and so many more. With Golspie sitting only 10 miles from Royal Dornoch it allows for some great Tours and scenery. The course sits just outside the Top 50 in Scotland and is one of the best in the Scottish Highlands, it’s not a course you will just pass, so make sure you have this on your golfing experience when in the area.

Golspie lets the golfer see many different aspects from heathland to links style, so in other wards you get a lot for your money, play it.

Golspie Golf Club

The combination of links, heathland and parkland keeps the golfer interested at Golspie, and while the course is not particularly long, the par of 68 sets a hard target. If the wind blows and the air is chilly, the course will play long but manageable for most golfers. Played along the coast in the early holes, then into woodland it keeps the golfers eye alert, but allows for you to wonder at the magical views. The clubhouse has benefited from a recent refurbishment, and offers the golfer all the modern comforts you would expect from an established golf club. Enjoy a post round refreshment and marvel at where you have just played, it will last long in the memory.
