It may be relatively young, but the course has already been recognised as one of the best recent additions in the UK and Ireland, and visitors have already included John Daly and Vijay Singh. The layout can be stretched to over 7,300 yards from the back tees, but there are options to suit all standards of golfer.
Set against the backdrop of the stunning Slieve Bloom Mountains, there are five lakes and a meandering stream, that serve to challenge visiting golfers on no fewer than 10 of the holes. we had a pre-paid dinner and the reception had a problem tracking the payment. Not so good communication about the birthday cake as well. It was supposed to be a surprise for my husband, but it didn't work out. The staff was very unprofessional but otherwise everything was fine. If we paid everything at the hotel, it would probably be easier :-).
Stayed in apartments - very clean and had plenty of space etc. Would recommend.

Excellent accommodation. Clean and comfortable.Only complaint - no milk to go with tea/coffee. Very enjoyable golf course well maintained. Large greens in great condition Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend this venue for a short break.
The staff went out of their way to make us welcome. The food was excellent and the accommodation was first class. All made for a very enjoyable trip
