Second time at the hotel and was a fantastic experience again. Made to feel so welcome from start to finish. Will come again.
Had a fantastic stay at the Elba Palace - clearly a lot of regular guests at the hotel, and can see why. Great service, food and access directly to practice facilities and course. Would book again, Stef
the whole package is great, quick taxi journey from airport, golf on your doorstep very comfortable hotel, although my biggest negative is the food in the evening, although plentiful, it is a little rustic
Great hotel been a few times now very relaxing and good food and clean maybe the night time entertainment could be on a little later so people can enjoy after dinner
Wonderful return visit to Elba Palace. Delightful hotel, friendly staff, good food. With the well maintained and varied golf course on site, this remains the number 1 winter golf holiday destination for our group.
This hotel makes all the difference to the holiday staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and food is exceptional we will be rey
A beautiful hotel, with welcoming staff. Everything is within easy reach also. Food is beautiful and a la carte too, which makes everything so much more enjoyable.
Very relaxing hotel and enjoyed relaxing and sleeping in excellent bedroom .I can highly recommend the resort golf club and course. The staff and food was too a high standard. Will definitely be going back.
This hotel suits us perfectly, the hotel is right next to the golf course. So after breakfast a very short walk to your clubs and the first tee. The staff are superb nothing is too much trouble.
very friendly staff, great set up and quick transfer from airport, all extremely well organised
Everything perfect. Lovely relaxing break, great atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. Went last year and will certainly be back again.
Lovely hotel , small and well presented. Staff excellent so helpful and friendly. Rooms nice , clean and well appointed. Would recommend.
Lovely hotel staff are fantastic we have been going for 8 years they treat us like family. Rooms are very spacious. Not good for large groups as quiet in the evenings.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Food staff entertainment and facilities were top quality.
We stayed in a deluxe room which was really lovely. It had a great view over the golf course and had all the little touches to make it comfortable and luxurious. The buffet breakfast was brilliant with loads of choice including eggs and omelettes cooked to order, a great variety of breads and pastries, lovely fresh fruit, yogurts and cereals. The St. Andrew’s restaurant for our evening meals was tasteful and refined. We were half board which gave us a buffet style starter with huge choice of fish, cheeses, cold meats, pate, soup, bread and salads followed by a main course chosen from the a la carte menu. Dessert was then buffet style with delicious choices every night and really fabulous ice cream! The staff were all lovely, nothing was too much trouble, they were all friendly and knowledgeable. One of the highlights for me was the lovely lady who knocked on the door around 6 each evening to offer us a couple of wrapped chocolates for later. Definitely a hotel I would like to revisit.
Excellent
Can’t fault any aspect of hotel
A great, relatively quiet hotel right by the golf course, with a free shuttle bus to the neighbouring popular resort and beach
The hotel was nice, staff lovely. Rooms were clean & comfy. Golf course good, pro shop staff were so helpful. HOWEVER the biggest let down for us was the food. Breakfast: scrambled eggs were cold most mornings. Muesli only there for one morning out of the whole week, other cereal was coco pops/Frosties (in an adults only hotel!) Lunch: was okay ish (better that the evening food, but still not great) Half board, you couldn’t swap half board over to lunch instead of dinner (we’ve done this before at other destinations) The evening a la carte menu left a lot to be desired. We didn’t enjoy it at all. To point where we paid for half board and for 4 nights out of the 7 we paid 5 euro for a taxi & ate in the local town. Waste of money! On the a la carte menu only the ‘main’ was included, if you wanted a starter or dessert you had to pay OR you got a starter/dessert from the buffet which you didn’t pay for, the buffet wasn’t appetising.
Excellent hotel with great restaurant very helpful staff and good facilities - swimmilg pool, gym etc
The Elba Palace is a special place to stay. It is small and friendly and tranquil. We play golf so to have the course and facilities right on the doorstep is amazing. Just 15 minutes from the airport and we are at the hotel.
Excellent hotel with attentive, warm & friendly staff who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.
Hotel and staff were excellent very helpful and polite. We new it was off season but to be honest we liked the hotel being quiet. We have been a few times to this hotel and will probably return again. We had a suite which made a big difference getting away from your bedroom to a separate lounge and getting the sun on your balcony at night was perfect
Can't fault anything about the hotel. We will go back.
A prefect couples break. Wonderful customer service, great food, lovely ambience. Couldn't fault it.
The rooms are spacious, plenty of wardrobe space, lovely bathroom with both bath and separate shower . The half board was well worth it as the quality of the food both at breakfast and evening was excellent
Very pleasant and relaxing stay in a well run hotel. We particularly liked the traditional architecture and decor but the lighting in our room was poor, and there was also a dearth of sockets for electronic devices, despite being well appointed in other respects. Although the fixtures and fittings were of a high standard in the spacious bathroom, the plumbing did not match this.
Delighted to revisit this excellent golf hotel. Accommodation clean, modern and comfortable in a classical style hotel. Enjoyed our evening dinners under the stars in the central courtyard surrounded by fairy lit palm trees. The staff were friendly, attentive and always pleasant. The major plus for our group was the location- on the Fuerteventura golf course. A well run facility (thank you Roberto) and interesting enough to make us want to play all seven days of our stay. We will be back!
This is our 5th visit to Elba palace so it satisfies our requirements. however this time it is quite evident that the rooms need up dating without losing their typical Spanish style. This is a five star hotel for sure but we do think that bottled water should be supplied on a daily basis and not just on the first day. This is just a small criticism because this hotel is overall very good, ideal for a winter golfing break.
The hotel staff were lovely The food menu at lunchtime was limited and the food overall was good but could have been a lot better. The rooms were clean and spacious.
Lovely -adult only- almost 5 star hotel close to the small village of Caleta De Fuste and the airport of Fuerteventura. The hotel stands at the end of a mostly flat but tight golf course protected by strongish breeze most days. The staff were first class and welcoming with perfect service. The hotel style was probably more Renaissance style a with lovely open atrium in the centre. Restaurants were of good quality and reasonably priced quality wines were served correctly. Our room had a golf course view with plenty of space and generous bathroom with bath and separate shower. The bed was very comfortable and there was a pillow menu at no extra cost. Overall a place of calm, quality and a great retreat but little to do if you are not a golfer. The golf course alongside was pretty testing and quirky in places but demanding of moderate skill
Lovely hotel on the golf course. It was very quiet while we were there so we had plenty of attention from the hard working staff. The downside for us was the poor choice and quality of the dinners.
This hotel was superb, so relaxing. The staff were very obliging they couldn't do enough for you. We would definitely stay here again.
Amazing
Atmospheric wood covered quadrangle. Ten minute taxi ride from airport(14 euros). Very friendly staff Ok breakfast. Excellent dinner- varied buffet starter then choice of 20 al le carter mains and buffet desserts. Driving range right next to hotel. Ok course with wind sometimes an added difficulty. Perfect for short 4 day break
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Elba Palace Golf. The staff were friendly and helpful, always cheerful. Our room (202) was spacious and comfortable. There was just one blemish - the bathroom door had swollen and stuck on the floor without allowing it to open fully. It simply needs to be removed and the bottom edge planed so that it swings open freely. We enjoyed the food and the golf course.
Thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the hotel in all areas, the ambience throughout the hotel is first class.
Loved the hotel except spa was rubbish. The steam room was not working and they could not turn the heat up in the sauna. Most of the meals at dinner were disappointing.paella and fish meals were good but meat was very disappointing. Therefore would not want to return
We booked a room with a “mountain view”. The rooms are dark anyway and we found this a bit to dark for us so we paid 50 euros/ night to upgrade to a suite which was excellent and well worth it. If you don’t want to pay this I recommend a room with a “pool view”. The course is ok, greens are quick and true, bunkers are not very good, stoney with little sand. Overall not bad and quite challenging. If you want to practice this is the place, excellent range, chipping and putting greens. The food is not bad but they skimp on veg with main courses both in quantity and temperature. It’s like they’re trying to do haute cuisine but haven’t quite got it. Having said that there is plenty of variety and the fish was always great. Drinks are reasonably priced £3 for a large beer, £13 for a bottle of decent house wine. The best thing about Elba is the staff. Courteous, flexible, patient and cheerful can’t praise them enough. I would recommend and will probably return.
Right on the golf course - room was very spacious with a lovely view of course and sea. Lots of choice for breakfast although food got cold quickly as they don't use warm plates!!! Diner was lovely although sometimes the order was lots in translation. Overall a nice hotel well placed and would definitely consider going back.
WE RECEIVED A FIRST CLASS WELCOME. STAFF WERE ALWAYS POSITIVE.
This our fourth visit so we are very happy with our experience and would thoroughly recommend it
Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of holiday
Upgraded on arrival .... no issues what do ever. Excellent.
