Indian Wells Players Course

Opened in 2007 the Players Course at Indian Wells offers a different test to the kinder, more forgiving Celebrity Course. Measuring 7,376 yards from the tips this course will test even the longest hitters and yet it remains playable for golfer of all skill levels thanks to a multitude of tee positions. John Fought orientated the course to provide golfers with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the overall feel of the course is similar to that of classic American courses such as Riviera, Winged Foot and Alister MacKenzie’s courses in Australia.

Although the Players Course is relatively young, Fought has managed to incorporate mature trees and other features that make the course seem mature beyond its years. Each hole is as good as the last and thanks to the intelligent routing of the course each hole seems almost totally secluded from the rest of the course which creates a dramatic atmosphere making each shot as exciting as possible.

Indian Wells Celebrity Course

The much celebrated Celebrity Course at Indian Wells opened in 2006 and since then has garnered a reputation as one of the finest in California. Measuring 7,050 yards from the back tees with a par of 72 this course will provide a great test for even the most talented players while multiple tee positions including a set that reduce the course to 5,316 yards mean the course is playable for a great range of golfers; even the total beginner.

Clive Clark has routed the undulating fairways between streams, brooks and split level lakes to place an emphasis on precision and course management and from all over the course the golfer is treated to a series of stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the not too distant mountains.
