3 Nights, 4 Rounds
The Kingsley has won multiple awards for it’s sensational spa and AA Rosette restaurant which had the best customer service in the Munster region in 2016, so a stay here will be sure to cater for all golfers off the course and any non-golfers.
The 4* hotel offers the finest accommodation with rooms varying from classic rooms to luxury suites and the penthouse. The classic rooms are perfectly decorated and include a flatscreen TV and en-suite bathrooms, with most offering a great view of the River Lee. While the Penthouse offers the ultimate experience with 2 bedrooms, a jacuzzi on the balcony, a dining room which can seat up to 12 people as well as an open fire.
During the day, non-golfers will have the option of using the Spa facilities including a thermal suite, aromatherapy steam baths, a sauna, a hammam and many more relaxing experiences, however, it is recommended to book in advance for all spa treatments. Or for a more active day, all guests can use the Health Club to get a good workout at the gym or go for a swim in the 18m long swimming pool.
Away from the hotel, guests then also have the choice of exploring the local area during the day and with the likes of the Fota Wildlife Park, Spike Island Prison and the renowned English Market just a short distance away, guests will certainly want to plan a day trip to explore the local area.
For dinner, guests are spoilt for choice with 2 restaurants, a hotel lounge and a bar to enjoy a few drinks at the end of the day. The AA Rosette Restaurant, ‘The Springboard’, offers guests a relaxed and casual atmosphere to have dinner, while the Fairbanks Restaurant offers guests a gourmet dining experience in the centre of the hotel. The Fairbanks Restaurant is also where breakfast is served each day from 6:30-10:30am on weekdays and 7-11am on weekends. On top of this, The Kingsley has the K Lounge which is open from 12-5pm everyday for afternoon tea and light snacks while admiring the stunning River Lee. It’s the ideal place to relax in the summer and take in the bright surroundings. Then for those looking for a later night while having a pint or trying the local Corkonian Stouts and beers, there is the Fishers Bar within the hotel which is a cosy spot for a social gathering and to unwind about the day's golf on the course.
The Kingsley is the perfect hotel for anyone planning a golf break to Cork as it provides a relaxing and comfortable night’s stay whilst also being within 30 minutes from Cork airport and numerous golf courses. It’s combination of location to golf courses and award-winning hotel facilities, makes The Kingsley an ideal golf break for anyone travelling with non-golfers or in groups as there is something for everyone.

Good hotel, well situated for the various golf courses (ca. 20-30 mins away, except Old Head which was about 45 mins) and only a 15 euro taxi ride into the centre of Cork. Breakfast very good, bar and restaurant the same. Rooms a little small for drying out two sets of (very) wet clothes and clubs but we only had one wet day.
