A nice clean hotel with convenient location for golf. Only issue was prior to trip, Events manager had informed us that hotel operated minibuses for trips out to Girona in evening. Turned out they not exist. Had arrange alternative transport at ridiculous cost. Just sort your own more cost effective transport out!

Open glass shower in room not ideal, room size a little small, no bedside lockers, external visual of hotel complex a little too commercial looking. Pool and conservatory areas were great. Staff were quite helpful also. Overall an enjoyable stay and would recommend for golfers on a budget.

The Lavida Hotel in my opinion is set up for short stays. I say this because the rooms are very minimalist, no kettle, no fridge, four coat hangers, and one draw, everything else you have to leave in your case or stack on an Ikea like shelving system. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows are extremely soft. My wife and I were there for seven days and at least three groups of players must have come and gone while we were there. Their behavior was not brilliant considering these gentlemen were not young, with foul language and loud singing at one point. I would not recommend this hotel to any ladies on their own or in pairs I am sure they would feel very intimidated. Although the comments I have made are not great, I cannot praise the attitude and the helpfulness of the Staff. Two ladies in particular Abril and Marta were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made our stay enjoyable. I would also like to praise the cleaning staff as the room was always immaculate when we returned to it from our journeys and Golf.

The LaVida rooms were very clean and comfortable. They have a glass shower so if you're sharing with a friend there isn't much privacy. The hotel is a short 8-10 min walk to the main PGA Catalunya resort and Pro-Shop, but staff are happy to arrange a buggy type shuttle service for you. Staff were only too happy to help out. However, it should be noted that the swimming pool (it's actually too small to be called a swimming pool) in the LaVida resort is very small and that the only bar/restaurant there closes at 10am after breakfast and doesn't open until 7pm. Therefore if you intend to take a dip and relax by the pool, you won't be able to grab a bite or drink until 7pm. If you wish to use the bar/restaurant facilities at the main hotel you can, but they do charge an additional 25 euros per person per day to use their main swimming pool, which is much larger. This was something I wasn't aware of so please bear that in mind when booking. If you intend on swimming and wish to have the option of having something to eat and drink, you're probably better off booking into the main PGA Catalunya resort.

Functional rooms, Great shower and beds were fantastic. Bars a little pricey and one temperamental coffee machine for breakfast between 40 guests was poor. Staff were great and nothing too much trouble👍

Good accommodation on site. Short buggy transfer to the golf course, clubhouse and range. Comfortable room and good breakfast.

Once on resort your stuck unless you want to pay 40€ Round trip for taxi to nearest town or 80€ round trip to Girona. Taxi to and from airport 25€ and only took 6 minutes. Chose of food is limited and expensive

Just what you want for a golf holiday, comfortable, clean and good location. Being able to store the buggies under the hotel makes it so convenient to have breakfast and then go straight out to play

Perfect location for a short golf break. Only downside was the distance to nearest town or village. Hotel itself is great and probably more suited to a group of golfers than the 5 star one on the complex. Would definitely go back.
