Overall a very nice experience. The hotel was very much a ‘couples’ stay, so this could be highlighted for clearly perhaps. It didn’t put us off, though we did feel slightly out of place at times in our family trio of father and two sons on a golf trip. The location, the rooms, and the staff were all excellent, however there maybe could be some slight improvements here and there with eating/dining (if I’m picking holes). For example the pool bar closed reasonably early when we might’ve wanted a drink/snack, and the pool itself wasn’t as warm as the staff described (not a huge issue really). The buffet breakfast included in our cost was very nice but maybe wasn’t worth the non-included cost of eating dinner in the buffet restaurant - we drove into the local town for dinner a couple of nights which we preferred and was cheaper as well. But overall as I say, a very nice experience.

This is s really nice hotel, but it’s not as nice as it should be! Once you get there the location is great with lovely views over the course. However the trip from the airport is torturous involving a very narrow road with dozens of hairpin bends, but I guess that’s the way it is on Tenerife. The restaurants are good but expensive and the main one which is a buffet gets rather repetitive. There were a couple of problems with our room including air con / heating that didn’t work, soap dispensers that weren’t refilled and early morning noise from the corridors. All were put right with a couple of phone calls but I didn’t think that should have been necessary in a place claiming to be one of the luxury small hotels of the world.

Very disappointing that there is no cool air conditioning as we had a very warm week we had to leave terrace door open at night. When we queried this they told us that they do not put it on until the summer the temperature when we were there was 26 degrees. The pre cooked food on the hot plates was practically cold. Although we booked a junior suite we were extremely disappointing to find that it was facing a wall. We had to pay extra to obtain a satisfactory room. You need to point out to clients that there are 3 grades of junior suites, the lowest grade that you sold us is very misleading.Lastly the pick up from the hotel was late and we only just made our flight

Lovely, much prefer the north of the island to the very touristy south

Very enjoyable stay. We felt a little isolated without a car and there wasn’t a taxi service. We wanted to visit a fish restaurant but couldn’t. The swimming pool didn’t seem to be kept at 22 degrees. Not inviting.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Beautiful golf courses as well as well as play the course I recommend walking round it on the foot path. The room that the hotel allocates is on the very lowest level with no view. The entertainment in December takes place on one night Saturday. This means the bar is very quiet. The buffet is good would like to see more Spanish food served Whilst you can’t rely on the weather on the north side if the island it’s really is the best.

Beautiful Hotel in a fairly remote location. The staff are excellent. The entertainment on Saturday evening, a Spanish guitarist & singer were exceptional . A very chilled experience, just what was needed .

Lovely hotel. Moorish design with lots of independent areas making it interesting. Great condition, everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Not a place for wild nights fuelled by drinking and loud music. Location great and a 5 min walk from golf course.

Physically a great hotel: nice rooms, great views. But it seems to be managed by an accountant - cheap and repetitive buffet for example. Would not re-book.

Quite isolated but that was ok for us. We were treated like royalty and had no complaints. Not for you if you want a vibrant night life though. Very quiet and peaceful.

A very warm welcome at this quite rural lovely Hotel about 1\2 mile from Buenavista del Norte. The buildings are based on those found in a Spainish village. We were given a little tour of the hotel and our room. The Hotel has around 115 rooms so it never felt busy. The rooms are enormous with a separate dressing room for storing clothes which was fab. There are lots of steps but also 6 lifts to help with getting around the different levels. The staff were very gentle, polite and efficient. Breakfast and dinner are taken by the infinity pool, both very good. The wine in the Hotel is around 6 euroes a glass, 24 euros a bottle (upwards). We loved it here and would return.
