The land which is traversed by the Newquay Golf Club was earmarked for residential development before it was rescued by local protests in 1897, and thankfully, the course still remains.
Newquay Golf Club
Newquay is very much a traditional layout, making full use of the natural terrain to provide both intrigue and challenge, while the views of the coastline are unsurpassed. The par 3s are particularly enjoyable at the most established course in the local area, and the warm welcome extended to every visitor is why the club is integral to a good Cornwall golf tour.
