The Vale da Pinta is a fantastic parkland course, measuring 6,728 yards. Like the resort's further two courses, it was designed by Ron Fream, a highly regarded American golf architect, and features a number of lakes which are as testing as they are beautiful.
Since opening in 1992, the course has established an excellent reputation, culminating with the award of a European Seniors Tour event in November 2007. The Pinta Course, despite not being the oldest when compared with local favourites like Penina, is fast becoming one of the most desirable and admired courses to the west of Vilamoura.

Found this harder than gramacho. However it wasn't laid out as well. 18th and 9th greens were not viewable from the clubhouse, so you can't watch your friends and others come in.

Undulating/hilly course so would recommend a buggy, quite a short course with plenty of dog legs. Greens were good and very fast down hill!

In better condition than on recent visits.

A very slow round (5 hours +)...hindered by some groups in front who were at best 'beginners'....6 shots to get to the shortest par 3 Still a lovely course surrounded by super villas

The course was in brilliant condition considering the unusual amount of rain at this time of year

Sister course to Gramacho, hilly with lots of large bunkers- beware!

A quirky layout, but at least its largely on existing terrain as opposed to a new build course. Basic clubhouse but it all works fine, and you can walk it!

Very slow round. Front 9 very difficult requiring accuracy. Unsure how well the minimum handicap rule is applied here. Least enjoyable of the courses.
