The Rushcliffe Golf Club is set in the picturesque rolling countryside with stunning views across South Nottinghamshire. The course, which was laid out in 1909, is a unique test of your game where no two holes are alike. The Par 70 course may look short on the scorecard but its small greens which are undulatingly sloped require precise shots to be hit to take advantage. You will be challenged to hit a wide variety of shots throughout your round, testing any player no matter their handicap. Once you have completed your round the clubhouse offers a more relaxing experience where you can enjoy quality food and a drink taking in the wonderful views as you talk about your experience on this splendid course.

This was a strange course to visit. The facilities looked very good. Practice nets, chipping area, good practice green. When you first look at the course the views are fabulous, and it is obvious that it has great greens and sloping fairways. We had a great round on a very tough course. The course was in great condition. Unfortunately the experience was spoilt by a cd feeling, unwelcoming clubhouse. On arrival we asked for a sandwich to take out with us. That was awful, 2 peices of thick white bread with the minimum amount of filling. I was of a mind to take it back. When we finished our round a glass cabinet was full of large fluffy brown batch with lots of filling and salad? Make your own conclusions about that. The "cold" feeling continued in as much as it really wasn't very welcoming. A real let down after hearing so many positive things about this club. They have a glorious course, but definitely need to work on making visitors feel welcome
