Apart from being truly beautiful, the Pines, studded with huge water hazards and expanses of sand, is a stern test of championship golf, and is one of the finest layouts in Belek.

Starter was very extremely rude and obnoxious as we had 18 players and wanted 3x4 and 2x3 which he refused to accomodate. Although then wanted us to change our format when he messed things up. We complained about him to the management.

This course is exceptional, offering a tough and challenging experience. With plenty of water hazards, it requires strategic thinking; you don't need to be a long hitter to navigate it successfully. However, good shots can easily be punished, making it a true test of skill, especially towards the end of the round. Unfortunately, there is limited seating available at the clubhouse bar after your game, and with the restaurant closing at 5:00 PM, you may find yourself without food options if teeing off after 12:30 PM. Overall, this is a fantastic course with challenging and fast greens that can level the playing field for any runaway leader on the final day.

We found the pines harder than the dunes, it’s slightly longer and many holes are out of reach in regulation for the average to high handicapper, hence resulting in slow play. 5hr round is not unusual
Ben
✓5 May 2025
Decent golf course. Pines is better than Dunes. We got put onto the baclk 9 of Dunes because we were a 2 ball playing behind a 4 ball with no way through as course was busy. Dunes was okay but Pines was better. Greens were slow compared to Sultan and Pasha, so you had to really hit the puts and lost all feel around the greens. Let the course down a because the payout was good.

✓14 Nov 2024
Enjoyed the golf experience… however pace of play was painfully slow. We were allocated one tee time of 1.10pm which meant the last two holes were played in near darkness. Very annoying. Staff in the golf pro shop were arrogant and very dismissive and unhelpful. One of our tee times (9.20am) was moved to 7.33am as course was very busy. The experience was ok but not ideal. We also arranged for an additional game on final day playing very early. They tried to change us non guest rates until challenged. Several people were regularly and openly arguing with pro shop staff re their bookings. Corporate greed spoiled the golfing experience.

Again the greens were dressed - slow but consistent. An opening hole of nearly 500 yards (with no shot!) was a bit tough but strangely received shots on some of the par 3s. A good test of golf and again no flat lies. Disappointingly there were no buggies available for our 2nd round so we had to walk and as it was so hot we only played 9 holes -( no 9 hole rate for trollies or buggies) Lots of water so stock up on golf balls!
David
✓20 Sep 2023
Fairways are spongey and so don’t get Much run on the ball, greens are slow too. The course is nice but it’s long and difficult and better suited to lower HC.
Rebecca
✓19 Sep 2023
Our first experience on the Pines but, as "an animal" had gnawed through the charging cable there were no buggies available at 9am. We were offered a pull trolley. This we accepted, but pulling a full set of clubs over a very undulating golf course in temps of 34 we only played 9 holes but negotiated with a very apologetic customer services team member, for another 9 holes the following day, but on the Dunes. Our second attempt to play the Pines was more successful, a longer more difficult course, with plenty of water and bunkers. We played this as a 4 ball, but completed in 4 hours 20 minutes. Fairway with lots of humps and bumps with longer grass and very slow greens.

Course was good greens could have been better. Plus had green keepers and machinery around us for 18 holes. But enjoyed it.
Nick
✓30 May 2023
Greens were in poor condition due to amount of traffic on them plus turf tears around a lot of holes due to spiked shoes. Also, trying to get buggies for our tee times was a nightmare - they dont have enough buggies for the amount of people they are putting out on the course.
Doug

James
✓19 May 2023
Like the Dunes, great place to play golf and I rate it 'hard' because I am not the best of golfers - a truly pleasant course/golf experience - and I found the Pines more enjoyable to play. Slow at times, but as it was quite hot it may have been a good thing. We had trolleys and I think it was a better way to experience the course. Plenty of bunkers, not so much water. Depending on your skill level - take a lot of spare balls. They are expensive out there.

Very disappointed with the slowness of play we came in after 11 holes as couldn't take it anymore and didnt play this course again . Couldn't get buggies we needed so couldn't play our 2 3 balls as hoped which ruined all golf for the group . We should have been told you cant book buggies any day before golf so could not go out in the 2 3 balls as we just took for granted would happen , we were split up and ended in 4 ball and 2 others been joined by strangers it just ruined the golf for us which no one was happy about .

The Pines Course is very well laid out and includes hole maps at each tee so you have a fair idea of where you are (supposed to be!) going. The course is quite undulating so even if you hit a good shot keep your eye on it as a random bounce isn’t uncommon. The greens are a reasonable size and have been well tended too however the overall soil and turf construction isn’t what most UK golfers are used to.
It’s very sandy based and has wide,
thick-leafed grass which “grabs” at your club and doesn’t give a lot of “run”
on the ball so the green isn’t as fast as it looks. There is a fair amount
of water hazards so take some extra balls! The rough isn’t severe other
than pine-straw under the trees but it still can be tricky finding balls.
At the starters hut ask if there is any work on the course – we had full scarifying running on the ninth hole while we were playing which we thought was a bit “off side” as the entire Dunes course was closed for renovation.
We hired buggies (€30) and where happy to do so as it was hot by the time we got finished (08:30-ish start) by lunch-time. Many folks used trollies (€6) or carried although it is a fair hike, so if carrying ensure you (1) have a light bag (2) pickup enough water at the starter’s hut.
The hotel is the half-way house if you are that way inclined
and the bar is good, well stocked and can provide sandwiches (nice!) as well.
