TPC Scottsdale is located about 20 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, just 10 miles from Old Town Scottsdale. Consisting of two championship layouts, the Stadium and Champions courses.
The Stadium Course tends to get the most attention as it is the regular host of the Waste Management Phoenix Open and includes the famous 16th hole, which is setup with its incredible stadium style grand stands. At over 7,200 yards from the championship tees it can seem a bit daunting but the fairways are much more forgiving than the typical desert-style layout.
Located in the Sonoran Desert, and under the gaze of the majestic McDowell Mountains, the Tournament Players Club (TPC) at Scottsdale is among the most spectacular courses in the United States.

The majority of TPC courses are home to plenty of drama and excitement for both golfers and spectators alike. Few, however, have the same drama and personality as that of the Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale. Originally a flat piece of terrain, Weiskopf and Morrish turned it into a wonderful sculpted golf course with interesting tunnels and bridges while making clever use of water features along the way.
Every year The Phoenix Open - comes to town, and is the perfect showcase for this magnificent layout. Not only is it the PGA Tour's best attended event, but its short 16th hole is definitely the most raucous in spectator golf, where the fans let loose as soon as every ball takes flight.
The course measures 7,261 from the tips, and is ranked in Arizona's top 25, and the world list of the 100 best golf resorts. The Stadium Course is incredibly popular, and is the ultimate example of the terrific desert golf that has made Scottsdale so famous.

Formerly known as the Desert Course, the TPC's Champions Course was officially unveiled in 2007. Designed by Randy Heckenkemper, the course is not the rival of the Stadium in terms of fame, but it is equally as beautiful and just as challenging.
Spectacular views of the McDowell Mountains as well as an iconic creek that runs through a portion of the course highlight this memorable championship layout! Such classic golfing holes as Nos. 1, 2 and 10 are sure to give exceptional challenges for both beginner and experienced players alike.

A great course and great facilities. It was a shame that the stadium had removed the grandstands round the 16th. It is superb and well kept and everything we hoped for. The restaurant is more expensive but with such a name you would not expect anything different. A fantastic experience

This was a course for single figure golfers. There were a few per fours that my two best shots couldn't reach. Also fairways were cut so tight that a perfect strike was necessary every time. Very glad I played it but disappointed in the iconic 16th which was only 110 yards long. Also, the only place we could get a beer afterwards was at the on course halfway house which was a decent walk from the clubhouse. The trip overall was brilliant value for money so a big thanks to YGT

Did not help that the shop said the fairways/course were running. We chose the wrong tees only to find the fairways had been over watered and ball ran about 1 yard on drives so played incredibly long. However great course to play

Greens we’re very slick and some of the pin positions were really tough, we never realized that the stadium at the 16th hole only went up for the Phoenix WM competition so the hole kind of a normal par 3 without it
