Cabot Highlands (formerly Castle Stuart Golf Links) is a must play for anyone wanting to experience stunning links golf in the Highlands of Scotland. Consistently ranked in The Top 100 Golf Courses in the World, Cabot Highlands has welcomed the world's best as host of The Scottish Open with both Luke Donald and Phil Mickelson amongst past champions on the course.

Designed by Gil Hanse and opened by golf course developer Mark Parsinen who had also created Kingsbarns Golf Links, Cabot Highlands is a course that utilises modern design with the traditional links experiences you'll get at some of the best links courses. In short, Cabot Highlands is a new course that feels very much at home amongst it's other golfing neighbours.

Located just a few minutes from Inverness and its airport, the views from the course of the Moray Firth are spectacular. With the likes of Nairn Golf Club and Royal Dornoch within easy reach, a golf break to The Highlands is one that is hard to beat.

Castle Stuart Links

Designers Mark Parsinen and Gil Hanse have capitalised on a majestic parcel of land to carve a golfing marvel. The spectacular setting overlooking the Moray Firth presents a memorable seascape punctuated with local landmarks such as the Kessock Bridge, Chanonry Lighthouse, Fort George and Ben Wyvis.

Castle Stuart Links is the epitome of contemporary links course architecture. Here nature bequeathed an opportunity for a links golf course to enjoy a rich landscape texture of whins, gorse and broom, heather and marram – a landscape mosaic of rugged beauty. It is a true links experience with rumpled fairways, offering changes in lie and stance; partially revetted, natural bunkers and infinity edge greens that allow the scenery and key landmarks to be put on display.

Having played host to the Scottish Open four times since it opened in 2009 with champions including Luke Donald, Jeev Milkha Singh, Phil Mickelson and Alex Noren, Castle Stuart has become a must play when visiting the Highlands of Scotland.
