1 Night, 2 Rounds
- 1 Night Bed and Breakfast at Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor
- 1 Round at Roman Road Course
- 1 Round at Montgomerie Course
1 Night, 2 Rounds
Part of the Celtic Manor collection, Coldra Court is the handy little money-saver if your priority is golf. You get easy access to tee times on the Twenty Ten, Montgomerie and Roman Road, without paying main-resort room rates. The Twenty Ten remains the headline act, a genuine bucket-list layout that hosted Europe's dramatic 2010 Ryder Cup victory and still plays to full tournament standard today.
Located on the outskirts of Newport, Coldra Court is easy to reach from most of the UK and offers spacious, well-appointed rooms alongside a restaurant, bar and health club. A complimentary shuttle runs between the hotel and Celtic Manor's clubhouses daily, so you're never more than a few minutes from the first tee or the main resort facilities. It's a practical, comfortable setup that lets you focus on the golf without the premium price tag.
If you're looking at other Celtic Manor Resort accommodation, the Resort Hotel, The Manor House and The Hunter Lodges all offer different experiences depending on your budget and group size.
Who is this for?
Groups who want the Ryder Cup buzz and three big-name courses, but would rather put the budget into extra rounds (and a few post-golf pints) than a pricier resort room.
Who is it best for?
Societies and mates' trips that want a comfortable 4-star base, simple logistics and quick shuttle access to the clubhouses for a Wales golf break.

Coldra Court Hotel offers 148 guest rooms across a well-maintained 4-star property that prioritises comfort and convenience for golfers. Rooms are spacious and light, each fitted with complimentary WiFi, a 32-inch TV and a bathroom with overhead shower and luxury toiletries. Family rooms sleep two adults and up to four children, while accessible rooms are designed for ease of movement and comfort throughout.
The hotel's leisure facilities include a 60-foot swimming pool, sauna, steam room and a modern health club with a full range of cardio equipment. It's a solid setup if you want to loosen up before a round or wind down afterwards. Nine meeting rooms are available on-site, making the hotel a practical choice for corporate golf groups or larger societies.
Dining centres on The Rib Smokehouse & Grill, a modern, industrial-style restaurant that specialises in southern-influenced cooking. Meat is treated with the house rub and slow-cooked on timber-smoked Redneck ovens, delivering bold, smoky flavours in a relaxed setting. The Court Bar offers pre-dinner drinks, cocktails and a comfortable patio area, or you can settle into one of the lounge's sofas with a coffee and the papers.
While Coldra Court has its own facilities, the complimentary shuttle service to Celtic Manor Resort means you can also make use of the main resort's bars, restaurants and amenities if you want more variety. The shuttle runs daily to both golf clubhouses, so access is straightforward whether you're teeing off early or heading over for dinner. For golfers, the appeal is simple: you get a comfortable, well-equipped base with everything you need on-site, plus easy access to three championship courses and the wider Celtic Manor experience.

Fantastic accommodation the only thing that was a bit of a setback is you have to pay for overnight parking now which we didn’t know until we got there

Absolutely perfect. The welcome was warm, rooms spacious and clean, the bar was perfect for just rocking up and had a menu that was sufficient enough for all needs. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice and great quality. Only being 5 minutes across the road and an option of a shuttle bus was a great extra. Overall super happy and would return

The Hotel is nice and the staff are friendly. However the restaurant is not great, breakfast is OK, however the quality of the even menu leaves a lot to be desired

Incredible value for money. Second time staying here. Id am for what we wanted. Just down the road from the golf courses. Two rounds and accommodation at a great price. We will be back. 2010 is not to be missed. Monte is a great fun course. Plot your way round but watch out, the greens are tricky!!
