Golf De Belle Dune

Lovely course with narrow fairways and many memorable holes. Unusual mix of parkland and dunes. Excellent greens. Great fun.

Probably one of the best golf courses I've ever played very special.

A gem. First and last part of the course surrounded by pines. The middle part in the dunes. Impression to play 2 different courses, which required adjustments in the way of playing the course. So quite challenging. Walking between 2 holes may seem fairly long for a few holes; however, the scenery is so beautiful (and there is the always the option to rent a buggy). Course superbly maintained. Nice lunch facilities, good food.

Sadly a group of English guys played the day before and wrecked some of the buggies So 6 of my group had to walk which was a bit un fair on them Sad that certain people who play golf treat the buggies as dune buggies Give all us Brits a bad name

absolutely lovely course, but challenging for older golfers if you dont know it . Long walks between tees and no chance to reserve a buggy.. condition of course was superb , Greens were lovely . Thoroughly enjoyed the round.

A disappointing start to our golfing trip. An average golf course with some interesting holes, but not a course I would be looking to play again. The walks between tees was a real slog. The clubhouse was completely closed by the time we finished. We were not able to hire electric trollies nor buggies and our shoes had to be left outside the clubhouse to collect afterwards.

Tricky course but well worth a visit Better even than the Hardelot courses and La Mer

Another wonderful golf course and experience - once again asked for YGT voucher but never they never pushed it when I mentioned that YGT do not do this.

Been coming to this area for almost 30 years and the courses are in great condition and surprisingly quiet. Lesuirely 4.5 hour round for our fourball with no-one in front and no-one behind. Limited food options at the clubhouse but the restaurants in Le Touquet are exceptional, great value and can cater for all tastes. Highly recommended.

Very hard off the back tees, especially if it’s first time you’ve played it. Lots of blinds shots. Very challenging layout

A great course which is always a test for any golfer. I loved it!

Where to start from hole one to eighteen there is no let up the challenge you face.Magnificent.Buggy essential.Book early.

We have not played it for many years & it was a treat, particularly the new Par 6. We will play it next year.

Another fantastic course in great condition. Tough pacy greens that challenged our best golfers. Play this course if you get a chance.

Lovely course, great condition, but REALLY tight!

We all enjoyed it , the only negative would be the long par 5 / par 6 where the fairways had more improvement needed.The grass died the year before last and in that time with seeding and fertilizer it should be 100% by now and it was very patchy.Apart from that we enjoyed it.

Great course but difficult for mid to higher handicap players that’s why it took nearly 6 hours waiting on every tee

Some beautiful holes on a very tight layout makes for a challenging round.

Great course, good test from the whites

This is a great course. It is difficult in places and is a good test of your golf. Visually, it is stunning on many holes, and planning your way through the many obstacles in your way is a pleasure. I will definitely be playing this course again.

Best course in the area and we have always played there on previous visits - a buggy is recommended as it’s hilly with some long walks between the green and the next tee.

Tough course, played in very strong winds. Greens had been hollow tined and were very cleanly. Pace of play was really slow. Would need a perfect day to enjoy the course. Facilities were ok, but overall not great. Service was good though.

We were really pleased with the itinerary drawn up by my agent, James Aquino. Belle Dune is a quirky and difficult course when the wind blows. We also had a little rain off the sea but I feel this almost added to the experience. Some very good holes but other strange holes. Course was in good condition, albeit a little rugged but this fits well with the course style. All-in-all a good way to warm up being the first round off Le Shuttle. Clubhouse welcoming with good selection of food and drinks, nice pro shop.

The Tees were not in the best condition this time.The new very long par 5/6 is an interesting new addition to Belldune.The staff are good and it was sad that the professional Eulouge has retired.

This was a difficult course to navigate. The staff weren’t very helpful as we had requested a buggy for my Dad but on arrival told YGT hasn’t reserved one. Not a course I’d return to unfortunately.

A great venue, super condition, but some of the walks between greens and tees are ridiculously long.

Wow amazing course need a buggy though we were all blown away by every aspect of this course it the nicest one I have ever played been playing 15 years on and off this made the trip...

Of the courses we played in Le Touquet and Hardelot this one was in the worst condition - it was far from terrible but the greens were very slow and the overall conditioning was less than the others

Magnificent course in great condition

The MAIN issue was the communication between you guys and the golf course, i requested buggies on booking, you confirmed there was none available on the first day at Wimeroux and assured me the buggies were booked for Belle Dune. A result of this one of my group was unable to play Belle dune due to a bad knee and the distance between green and tees, also its more undulating. Other than that the golf was great and the people were very friendly. The course was stunning.

Great track but unfortunately they had just done maintenance week. The greens were covered in sand which ruined the day. Shame YGT didn’t warn us about this.

A fantastic layout which unfortunately has not received the care, maintenance and love it thoroughly deserves. I would say the course is the best in the Le Touquet area but if it cant be kept to a decent standard then I'm afraid it's wasted. We always enjoy going to Belle Dune as the club feels like a special place. I just hope that when we return the condition has significantly improved.

This was the worst presented course I can remember playing and we should receive a credit for it Truly appalling with dead fairways post drought and hollow tined greens. Not cared for sufficiently to send your clients there in the future. It will take two years to get right if they re-seed and regularly water

The fairways were very bare - in places no grass at all. This was no doubt due to a lack of rain / watering. About 50% of the greens had been 'sanded', but some of these were covered in so much sand that it was like putting on the beach. Not good value for money at all; to be avoided at the moment.

still a great course to visit and play, staff are always helpful and accommodating, we had to come off the 123th as the weather was so bad (our choice) will always go back to Belle Dune

This was the favourite of the majority of the players in our party. Excellent clubhouse and facilities coupled with an excellent golf course make this one not to be missed. The only downside was the group of members we caught up with who were very slow players.

Very pretty, pays to have a course planner if not played before but the new 17th hole is pointlessly too long.

There were 2 x 4 balls who teed off 30 mins before us in buggies that we caught up by the 4th hole and they had no intention of letting us through. We brought it to the attention of the young lady on the drinks buggy but she did nothing. Suggest they need a course marshal.

Have played Belle Dunes 3 time before and this was the worst condition I have seen it in. The fairways were in a poor condition.

Course was very dry so fairways were like lightning ( if you kept your ba on them!). They need rain or system watering. Greens were good.

Our favourite course to end the trip. It will always be on our list.

We enjoy this course although there are some tough holes. They had an offer on over 70's buggy charges which took us a long time to get, they said it had finished but it is still on their website. Quite expensive food and drink.

The greens were not in the state that you expect on a prestigious course.

Arrived to find that no buggies were available, a problem because one player could not walk this course.Eventually two buggies were found and we found that as two members of the party are over 70 there was a senior rate for the buggies, all worked out well in the end.

Great course and great facilities.

Played on 22/10. Lovely course with a mix of tight, tree lined holes and some other more open holes. Greens showed some signs of a long season but still fairly good. Would rate this as the best course we’ve played after the two Harefoot courses.

Belle Dune is in my opinion the best course in the area. Far better than Le Touquet and Hardlot. There are so many great holes with water,dunes and forest. It's a great test of golf even off the Yellows. It's well maintained and very picturesque. If I could pick up Belle Dune and put it over this side of the channel, I'd join it tomorrow.

Fantastic setting and a beautiful course. The round was a real challenge for all of our group. We really enjoyed the test. The fairways and greens were excellent.

An exceptional course, better than both Le Touquet tracks. If we were to do the trip again we would play here more than once.

A great course. It was a hot day when we played it and the walks from greens to tees are had because they are on rough stony paths that are not easy to walk on (and many are uphill!!). We would always want to play this course, but it would be nice to offer electric trollies (we're not keen on buggies - but it may come to that!).

Belle Dune has never failed to impress and it didn’t this time. Our rounds were slow due to a local competition but it didn’t deter from the joy of playing this course. The new extension to the club house is now finished and looks great. Staff as always were friendly and keen to please. Still a favourite course to play.

Quite long walk with a trolley and the buggies were expensive.

Apart from a thunderstorm we had a great round of golf. Nice to play in shirt sleeves and not all wrapped up. The food and service in the club house was superb.

Excellent course - an absolute must play. The only negative was the club had incorrectly booked a group of 20 golfers to start at 1.30 instead of 10.00. They eventually started at 10.30 and this slowed down play for everyone else.

We had really bad weather so had to hide under a tree for about 40 mins but that didn't put us off any. The course was again in very good condition and i would highly recommend playing.

A favourite venue. The weather was poor which was a shame but the course was generally in pretty good condition although suffering from lack of rain. Play was a little slow but it is always a joy to pla6 here.

My favourite but probably because it was my best score . Great character and very pretty scenery .A joy to play .

Always a challenging round at BD, especially in high winds. The course is always a joy to play. The clubhouse despite its extension is a bit dated in the Bar area.

The most difficult course by far of the 3. Would like to play it again (and probably will) to see if I can do better!!!

A different type of course, some great holes, some just plain strange. Worth a visit though. Great setting.

Thinking mama golf course but all the same an incredible experience. The club house does not match the course but one I am so glad to have played

Stunning course but still early in the season and the Greens were a little bumpy and difficult to read etc. Unfortunately upon arrival and despite the fact we had pre-ordered, we were told that there were no buggies! After a 15 minute argument, they eventually found some, ours had 50% battery power and only just made it to the finish. Other than that, the course was enjoyable.

Our group of handicap golfers found it tough, but its a great layout

Agian enjoyed the course - not quite as good as des dunes D'Hardelot. A lot of dog legs and very tight, the sort of course you would play better the second time - when you know it a bit more. Greens similar - probably the time of year (beginning april)

played in a near impossible wind over 3 club difference little disappointed that one hole was out of action as it was being reshaped to protect the house on the right hand side

Expensive compared with Hardelot, but what a fabulous looking course, tricky and tight in places, only our single figure handicap players really enjoyed it. It has the wow factor though.

Second time I’ve played it and simply the best course I’ve ever played. Parkland/heathland/links, endlessly interesting, plot your way round and be rewarded, try and power round and it’ll knock you for 6. Fantastic.

A five and a half hour round was infuriating but that's the French for you.

A little disappointing compared to the other two. Tee tee box on the stroke index 2 hole was in the fairway and reduced it to a 285yard par 4, other than that a pleasant course to play.

A really lovely challenging course with some magnificent holes. Varied from park style to links. Work being done on the clubhouse to expand so a bit limited at the moment (Oct 18)

Tight opening holes if not overly long but opens up from 5th and has some lovely holes fairways patchy but I guess after this summer as much to be expected

Love this course, always a challenge, especially on day two of a lads weekend. Highly recommend if you have not played before!

all ok apart from excessive pricing in the bar so only stayed for one drink and no food

Enjoy the views at Belle Dune Golf Course, it is a really enjoyable golf course to play.
