What a great stay, I would be very picky to find faults but some of the staff did let the side down. Surprisingly a supervisor who made me stand for longer than necessary before acknowledging my presence. Expected a bit better from the bar and restaurant but the town is a short drive with some amazing places to eat and good entertainment, the locals are very friendly too. The room was clean and comfortable but literally just a place to, shower, shave, change and sleep. High value for money and a beautiful course with it's challenges but a pleasant walk.

Kilnwick Percy delivered once again, only criticism was the security guy who kept coming to our room asking to keep quiet, even though we were not making a lot of noise and he hadn't had any complaints. I would only suggest that the hotel should put all golfers in one pod.

Pods were a new idea to my group but were fine. Problems in the bar though - the coolers weren’t working so drinks were not really cold enough (though they did offer members rates after a while) and they wanted to close the bar at 10pm but stayed open till 10.30. Food was fine, although no chef on site for cooked breakfasts until 9am on Sunday which left time a little tight for our 10am tee time

Hotel in a fab relaxing setting! Had a couple of spa treatments before we played golf and they were amazing. Course was in fab condition and complimented by the good weather. The bar terrace has amazing views and is very spacious. Staff and service was excellent. Although the room was on the smallish side, it was adequate for our needs, shower and sleep! Overall a fantastic couple of days away.

We enjoyed our short golf break very much.the whole staff team were very friendly and informative. The accommodation was very comfortable although we found the rooms smaller than expected but very clean and modern. In public areas COVID restrictions were clearly well thought out and we felt safe and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was tasty and good value for money. Beer was also reasonably priced.it was disappointing not to be offered a full breakfast.

Everything with the hotel was great except the breakfast which we booked on the 2 rounds of golf dinner bed and breakfast package. The substitute breakfast was minimal and basic to the extent none of us ate it as the Kitchen was closed due to corona. It didn't seem like an adequate substitution for the same money

The tee boxes were a joke. Hardly any grass on some of them. Greens only average and needed cut and maintained properly. The fairways were dry and bare. Would not go back to Kilnwick Percy again.

Good golfing experience, pin placements changed from Saturday to Sunday and greens were cut overnight as well

Unfortunately the weather on the first day wasn't great but we persisted and still enjoyed the course. Second day was beautiful weather and got to enjoy the course more. The tee boxes were uneven and poorly kept, the only criticism I have as the fairways were forgiving but strategically placed bunkers and pin positions offered it's challenges which made for a testing but enjoyable round. The greens were lovely and well kept, not particularly quick but testing all the same. Will definitely return, a hidden jem.

A great, little course that will continue to improve as it matures. Well placed hazards protect others rather than punish you. Probably not a challenge for low handicap, long hitters.

Both rounds were frustratingly slow - stuck behind a 3 ball of young chaps the first day who were in no hurry at all ( and no one in front of them), and some 4 balls the second day who really should have been picking up their balls long before reaching greens. I think it’s the first time I’ve complained in many years with YGT which says a lot. Greens had been treated and were being left uncut so although they looked great were extremely slow. All in all not the best golfing experience!

Sunday was quite busy, as expected, but Monday was fine. Layout of the course was great and well sign posted. A couple of walkers crossed a couple of the fairways, whether accidental or not, which can be quite off putting. Greens were ‘fun’ . Like Augusta! Some interesting holes.

The course was in amazing condition given the amount or rain the area had suffered two days earlier. The greens were quick, and some tricky pin positions made putting a real challenge ( at least that is my excuse) Play was very brisk and we experienced no hold ups even though the course was very busy. We all had a great trip here and will be back next year, and hope we can then have our full Yorkshire breakfast😀

The course was mostly in great condition with the exception of a couple of boggy areas which is understandable given the heavy rain in the week before our stay. Bunkers were in great condition and the greens were great.
