Set on over 560 acres of woodland estate, this course embraces the ancient landscape to present exciting challenges for golfers of all abilities. From the back tees, the course plays at just over 7,300 yards which will test even the big hitters on some of the longer holes, but length isn’t all that will test golfers round this parkland course.
In areas of the course, golfers will be met with some typical links tests; since the redesign in 2006 more deep bunkers and undulating greens feature which adds a new dynamic to the experience, while water comes in to play on no less than 11 holes. The course offers fantastic views over the Liffey Valley, Strawberry Beds as well as the Doric Temple, creating an idyllic setting in which to enjoy a round of golf at one of Ireland’s premium championship courses.
The Clubhouse at Luttrellstown Castle & Country Club maintains the authenticity and history that echoes around the resort. The structure itself is the largest log construction building in the UK, made from quality pine. Within the impressive clubhouse, golfers and guests will be well catered for across the Member’s Lounge, Spike Bar, La More Restaurant and the Millennium Suite.
