This adult-only Algarve hotel was totally refurbished as recently as 2017 and offers a comfortable, stylish, and modern base from which to explore the best east Algarve golf courses, not to mention Tavira and stunning local beaches.
Ranging from Standard Rooms to luxurious Deluxe Suites, guestrooms at AP Maria Nova Lounge Hotel boast all the modern amenities and services you’d typically associate with a modern four-star hotel including air conditioning, WiFi, and flat-screen TVs. All rooms are stylishly decorated and have private balconies, while Suites and Deluxe Suites also boast spacious living areas, views of the famous Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, and even a private outdoor jacuzzi situated on the terrace.

Hotel was great. Location may not be the best for a group of guys but that would be down to us for not looking into it a little more. Only had breakfast in the hotel but they had a great selection.

Rooms ready on arrival, check in/out with ease, very pleasant hotel staff, restaurant was of high quality offering quality food, Tavira town is a very short walk down the hill with a plethora of eating/drinking establishments

Rooms good. Major building work on site opposite the hotel towards town view. Mix up with breakfast packs as they would not give out all packs to all 9 guests. Did apologise and provide group with 1 cocktail each!

Good location, close to a variety of very good restaurants. Hotel design was odd with a very heavy and narrow door to the room. Slightly irritating building work opposite but if you’re out during the day it’s not a problem (no work Sat/Sun). Rooftop bar a great place and stunning views. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Our room faced the railway tracks so yes we can hear the freight trains 3 times when we were sleeping. It was a shame we weren’t assigned the river facing side of the hotel because that would be more pleasant.
