The hotel has 51 individually designed bedrooms, ranging from classic rooms in the main house to higher-category options with views over the course and estate. It's a good fit for golf groups because you can keep everything on site: rooms, meals, drinks and the first tee all within easy reach.

Food-wise, you've got three distinct options, each with its own character. 1236 sits within the Cave Bar and is open daily for brunch, lunch and dinner. The style is relaxed and social, with plates designed for sharing and a menu built around local Aberdeenshire ingredients. If your group wants an easy, informal dinner without dressing up for it, this is the one.

For a more traditional evening meal, Pineapple Grill & Seafood runs Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm to 9pm, focusing on fish and beef sourced from trusted local suppliers. It's still informal, just a touch more "proper dinner after golf" than the Cave Bar option.

If you want something different for a celebration night or just fancy a change of scene, the Private Dining Domes sit out on the lawns with views across the estate and course. Each dome has wooden flooring, bespoke furniture, lantern lighting and Bluetooth audio so you can set the mood yourselves. They're climate controlled for Scottish weather and seat 6 (Castor), 8 (Luna) and 12 (Aurora and Sirius). You access them via a private door and a lit stone path, which makes it feel nicely separate from the main hotel rather than just another dining room.

For drinks, the Cave Bar is the centrepiece. As the current holder of Whisky Magazine's Global Icon Hotel Bar of the Year award, it stocks over 120 whiskies alongside cocktails, draught beer, spirits and an extensive wine list. The Whisky Club room adds another layer for serious enthusiasts, and the bar's reputation means it draws visitors beyond hotel guests, so if you want a table at peak times, it's worth booking ahead rather than just turning up.

There's also the Titan Sky Bar dome, which measures 10 metres in diameter and holds up to 40 guests at cocktail tables or 32 in a horseshoe event layout. It operates as a bar Friday to Sunday and is available for private dining Monday to Thursday, offering flexibility for groups who want something beyond the main hotel spaces.
