A good but challenging course for all handicaps. Very hilly with a few blind tee shots and long carries to a couple of elevated greens. Quick and slopey but very good greens. In excellent condition for the time of year. Very friendly and helpful staff. An excellent restaurant, linked to the Casa Velha and more informal. Fantastic views from the clubhouse and course.

Lovely set up and wonderful staff especially in pro shop Course not in best condition as I assume they have just re done the bunkers so there is far too much sand in them currently Also a lot of work being carried out on course so not ideal

Very different, nice views. Fairways very undulating with blind holes so difficult to plan on first visit. Good variety of holes and greens pretty good. Bunkers were not great. Staff very helpful and club restaurant very nice.

Playing off 18 handicap I found the slopping fairways quite a challenge and a buggy is essential as the course is very hilly, greens and fairways in good condition very friendly staff.

If busy this can take a long time our best round 2 people was 3 hours our worst over 5 there is no marshalling and it can be very slow A very tough course to walk, beyond us we had buggies all rounds. Fantastic views and overall well worth playing

A beautiful challenging course high up ice the main town of Funchal. Buggy recommended. It quite tricky but playable. Golf Club, staff, restaurant all great. Played here twice, golf booked through YGT. Will definitely go back.
