With ocean views on 16 of the 18 holes, you'll get to experience the warm ocean breeze as every facet of your game is examined. The course is one of great contrasts, the opening hole is a long, uphill par-5 with bunkers awaiting any offline tee-shots and approaches. The par-4 2nd has a feel of Augusta National to it with a wide rolling fairway set amongst pine forests with green that slopes away from you. As you turn back to play the 3rd hole it is now that the course takes on a very different feel to it. The ocean is revealed and the course takes on totally different shape.
The par-4 4th offers panoramic views which has a feel of La Moye in Jersey to it whilst the par-4 6th would feel very at home in Ireland's South West at Ballybunion Golf Club.
There are many amazing holes on the South but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better closing stretch than 15-18. Running along the Ocean offering views towards Little Barrier with a good mix of short and long holes, anyone finishing strongly here is sure to challenge their handicap.
The par-5 18th is a superb finishing hole with the green falling into the ocean. After finishing your round head to Rick's for a memorable drink (Sawmill Pilsner) and sensational food (freshly caught snapper) with a quick round on the world's largest putting green adjacent.
