All good for a large group

we new the manager from villa Gale in viamoura and he rang the hotel and got us pool rooms

Excellent location - close to restaurants & bars in Tavira - rooms clean - good buffet breakfast - only niggles were lack of drawer space in room, safe in room not working so had to pay for use of safe at reception, and gym/spa not open until 09:00

Room was very hot on arrival but as soon as aircon hit in was all ok. Town itself is very dull, tough to eat post 9.30pm and limited bars open.

Fantastic location only 2 minutes walk from central Tavira.

Hotel was ok stoped there before .but location is good

Room was pool facing , big enough for one , little tight for two golfers - beds / showers good , TV good for time down . Bar bit hit & miss with staff , hotel was full ( mostly non golfers ) and they struggled . Hotel close to town with some decent local bars and food options .

The hotel was an ideal location for playing golf but also, as it was the first time in Tavira, we found a number of places to visit within walking distance of the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and the room was cleaned on a daily basis, with clean towels. We had access to all the hotel facilities, including the swimming pool.

Perfect location.

Hotel was fine and comfortable and location perfect. However, the arrangements for car hire left much to be desired: no contact details or instructions were issued prior to travel. We were obliged to contact the UK office on arrival in Faro to find out the essential information required to locate the company and shuttle service. We had requested Europcar which had a desk in the terminal and would have been much more efficient. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE IN THIS REGARD.

The reception staff were very helpful. The bar area was functional with speed of service on the slow side.

A great location for bars and restaurants no need for a car. Good choices for breakfast, bar prices reasonable.

Fantastic lovely hotel very clean fabulous breakfast not far from all amenities and lots of little things to do in the area if you are booking with Golf you will need a car as the Golf to Monterey is 24 minute drive away but I would recommend a car anyway

The Hotel is in an ideal location for trips to the beach via the ferry or evening meals and local bars. Breakfast give some you a really good choice from healthy cereals, continental and of course full English fry up.

Centrally located comfortable hotel within walking distance to all bars and restaurants. The price of alcohol in the hotel very reasonable and benamor Quinta de cima and ria courses 10-15 euros away by taxi. Quinta do vale and Castro marim 40 euros away by Taxi. Tavira much cheaper for food and drink than Vilamoura albeit quieter and less touristy.

This is a functional hotel. Rooms are basically furnished with no fancy frills. Perfectly adequate but no luxuries. Beds are quite hard. No iron etc in the room. Extra charge for use of safe. Bathroom adequate. Location in town centre makes it convenient for local bars and restaurants. For our needs for a two night stay, it served it's purpose but would not want a long stay there.

Ideal Hotel for us in Tavira

A large and spacious hotel, fit and practical as a mid cost hotel should be. Staff not particularly friendly or hostile just rather self absorbed. Room comfortable, location good, not sure about the food - we had a cold burger and never eat there again. Overall it was alright.
