The Saguaro Course was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw whose design philosophy aims to create courses where traditional, strategic golf is rewarded by the course. The Saguaro follows this design mantra. Perfectly manicured fairways have been stretched over the natural lay of the land which makes the Saguaro stand out from other courses in the region which have traditionally been sculpted into their current form. Crenshaw said of the Saguaro, “This piece of land has some very interesting natural movement to it. I think this golf course will be pretty unique for the desert. People will be induced to play different shots and find solutions to new challenges when playing this course.”
The Saguaro Course is undoubtedly a new jewel in Arizona’s crown and golfers of all abilities can enjoy the challenges it presents thanks to five different tee positions that allow golfers to play the full 6,966 yards right down to a more manageable 5,061 yards for those just getting to grips with golf.

Too many slow players on the course for our liking and no marshall ensuring play was flowing. This certainly distracted from our enjoyment. No fun waiting over every shot for 18 holes

A good golf course, a little further out of Scottsdale but facilities are excellent, staff welcoming and friendly, marshalls roaming to keep up pace of play. A good sound test of golf in lovely surrounsdings
