Had a slight problem when we arrived and had to spend our first night in their sister hotel because they didn’t have any rooms available.

Not 5-Star – Tired, Noisy, and Needs Attention The hotel staff were doing their best and were generally polite and helpful, but unfortunately the property itself is tired and starting to feel dated. Everywhere was reasonably clean and tidy, but it’s clear the place needs some attention. I originally stayed in Room 242 but had to request a move due to heavy traffic noise and constant barking dogs. I asked specifically for a quiet room and was moved to Room 129, which unfortunately backs onto a nightclub. The music went on until 1am both nights and genuinely felt like it was inside the room. There were also several issues around the food. Snack food by the pool was constantly being attacked by birds—landing on it and picking at it while staff watched without intervening. In the main restaurant, none of the food was labelled, so you have no idea what anything is or whether it contains allergens like nuts. There didn’t seem to be much turnover either, so a lot of the dishes were lukewarm while staff stood around. Overall, everything was okay, but the hotel was completely lacking in atmosphere and felt rather soulless. It’s definitely not a 5-star experience.

Kenzi Menara Palace is a lovely hotel. The rooms were large with comfortable beds. The pool area and swimming pool is beautiful. There was always plenty of sun beds at all times. The dining area waiting staff were always pleasant, the food was good.

A bit tired and in need of an update. Staff were great but struggling with a dated hotel....not 5*!! OK if you are going as a group of "lads on tour" but not really good enough for couples. Under the airport flightpath so noisy outside. Gym is full of second hand and broken equipment...unsupervised and dangerous, Food OK for a buffet

The Hotel was clean and the room large. However we found the staff from reception to Bar staff rude and unwelcoming. They really let the hotel down

Hotel is OK but barely 4 star. Rooms comfortable but staff not efficient and attentive, OK everone was fasting but there should be a way of maintaining service and willingness to help Very disapointed that the hotel, golf courses and transport company had not been warned our group size was reduced from 7 to 5.

All good but I found the main reception staff rude and very unhelpful. It’s mainly their manner which is maybe the way it comes across but certainly not what a five star hotel should give you for front of house assistance etc. The rest of the staff, restaurant bars at were charming.

Hotel was pretty decent. Stayed for 4 nights on an AI basis. Check in was a bit slow, but they did let us check in a few hours early so were able to get our rooms before playing golf. Rooms are ok, though a little tired (lock on window did't work, shower kept falling down, pillows rock hard). Food was decent, especially if you ate the local food, with bigger nights on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast had a good selection. Staff are ok, just a bit disinterested at times, especially noticeable when you experience better service elsewhere. Not rude in any way, just slow and needed prompting. Location was great for the airport and golf. Ultimately I'd go back as for the price I don't think you can do much better and it worked. Top tip - If you go AI, get your drinks for the golf course before you go as drinks are expensive there and the bar staff will give you big bottles if you ask.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the Hotel. The room (107) was very noisy with noise coming from the dining room activities, the dining room heating/air conditioning machinery outside our patio, and some kind of running machinery in the basement below the room running from 0500hrs some mornings. The buffet food choice was very limited, and the food items were never hot. We did not have a hot meal in our 7 day stay - the food items were Luke warm at best. The supposed omelette bar at breakfast was difficult to use, generally no staff present. When staff did attend the cooking area, the equipment and required ingredients were not prepared or unavailable. A Christmas Eve gala dinner was offered with drinks in the bar from 1930hrs and seating at 2000hrs. Once again, unfortunately, the room and dinner were still being set up at 2030hrs with no indication of actually opening so we gave that up and dined in the main dining room (luke warm food again). Potential visitors should be aware this hotel (possibly all Morocco hotels) do not comply with typical no smoking policies. There were ash trays on all the reception area tables and people were smoking throughout the area. We were unable to use the main lobby bar as people were smoking at the bar and in the surrounding seating area. Staff were generally uncooperative, although nice words were always available requests were not carried out. The only positive comments I can make are around the cleaning and porter staff. The room was kept perfectly clean and the porter staff assisted with luggage, etc., as required. The swimming pool, sun beds, and swimming pool bar area were also very acceptable and well maintained. Don’t know how this hotel achieved a 5 star rating. I would rate it as no better the 3 star. Easily the worst hotel we have stayed in on this type of golf holiday. A real shame, the golf courses, golf transfers and weather were great, but the whole package badly let down by this hotel.

Very good hotel from the start. All staff very keen to help, friendly and cheerful. A little tired looking in places (pavements, bathrooms) but overall lovely The gym is well equipped and not really used much. Spa offered all the usual treatments at an average price for hotels The food was lovely with so much choice including local cuisine every day Beware of booking a guide via the concierge as its expensive, and you have to pay entry fees on top of the money given to the concierge However the free shuttle bus from the hotel to Marrakech itself is excellent and would recommend using this

Hotel isn't 5*! May have been when first opened. Lovely pool area but when it's cold you have to pay to use the indoor pool. Lounge area was closed for 2 nights due to an exhibition so it got very noisy in the bar where people are smoking. Food was good and varied but often lukewarm, there is a microwave if you want to heat things. The bed was very nice and we had a great view. Staff were very nice and helpful. Only 15 mins from the airport so you do get planes flying quite low but not too often to be annoying. It just needs a bit of TLC.

We have stayed at several 5* hotels in Marrakech and this was by far the worst! The hotel itself was good and was convenient for most of the golf courses we played. However the service was poor and the staff while not unfriendly were not as friendly or helpful compared with the other hotels. For example we asked at least 4 times for more wardrobe hangers and never received them. No slippers were left in the room but the room maid did provide them when we asked. Milk, sugar etc in the room were not topped up and we had to ask for them each day. The Concierge was an exception as all the personnel there were good. The toilet rolls were of very poor quality, certainly not 5*. No town plan was available at reception and we were told to buy one in the hotel shop. Never had that before. The food was reasonable but the same every day. For'all in'booking not what we would expect. On our previous 'all in' experience at the Riu Tikida Garden Hotel, this was not a problem and that was only 4* The worst feature however was our treatment over the Mini Bar in the room. We made friends with two other golfers in the hotel who left several days before us. On the morning they left they told us that the hotel had tried to charge them for 2 bottles of water from the mini bar and warned us to watch out for this as although they refused to pay it was an unpleasant experience. The night before we left I checked at reception to be told that we owed for 2 bottles of water from the mini bar. Each day the hotel put two bottles of water in our room (not in the mini bar) so why on earth they thought we would use those in the mini bar beats me. I told them that they were wrong and they said they would check. I told them I didn't care what they did but I was not paying for something we hadn't had. We normally tip the staff either direct or via reception when we leave but on this occasion we ignored reception and tipped only the Concierge. We at first thought that either the hotel system for checking minibars was not fit for purpose or they had dishonest staff but discounted the latter as they would have to be in collusion with the Management. In the end we concluded that the Management were just trying to rip us off! The whole experience at the hotel seemed to revolve around extremely poor management and we would certainly not consider going back to this hotel. As a matter of interest that was the final comment made by our golfing friends when they left.

Well appointed hotel amd well located for golfing trips. Exceĺlent pool and gym. Decent albeit a little repetitive food and good selection of wine and drink for the all inclusive package. Negatives: surly and pretty unhelpful hotel staff - especially reception staff. Smoking is allowed thoughout the hotel which seemed excessive as the weather was nice enough for.smokers to go outside to smoke! Widespread use of insence burners mitigated the impact of the smoke. Avoid the Moroccan restaurant: aweful service (like Fawlty Towers!) Little choice and pretty inedible food - stick to the buffet in the main restaurant. Massage and hammam recommended!

We are thankful we booked all inclusive because there were no local bars or restaurants in the location. Hotel very clean with spacious pool area in relaxing grounds. We found the choice of food was plentiful but lacked quality. Unfortunately we contracted stomach problems following a week and only ate/drank in the hotel. Hotel room a bit dated and in need of update. Not English 5 star quality. Nowhere near the standard/ quality previously enjoyed at Aphrodites Hills in Cyprus which is really our benchmark.
