Measuring a formidable 7150 yards from the championship tees, the par-72 Akenza layout is an exhilarating test designed to challenge every aspect of your game. The course architect has woven the very soul of the desert into the fabric of the game. You’ll find tees nestled in Sahara-like sands and fairways guarded by natural dry riverbeds that change with the seasons ensuring no two rounds are ever quite the same.
The defining feature is the unforgettable sequence of eight holes that demand a carry over yawning, rugged canyons. This isn't just target golf it's adventure golf where strategy is everything. Multiple routes to the green offer a constant risk-reward dilemma making a round here a thrilling mental contest as much as a physical one. Akenza is a course that commands respect a place where bogeys tell stories and where every beautifully struck shot feels like a victory against the elements.

A new course with big ambitions, currently playing good. However, I believe this will be a standout course for providing they maintain at current levels, it will mature over time. A great challenge. Resort golf is always slow, you're on your holiday just relax and enjoy Amazing snow topped mountain views

Nice course. Very fast greens. A tougher course than Assoufid. Lots of red stake areas. Missed a few fairways and damaged a couple of irons on stones that couldn't be seen in the grass. Very enjoyable. The only negatived were that they didn't serve beer in the clubhouse and the smell from the lake on the 18th was very unpleasant. A great finishing hole though!

Not allowed to use booked buggy - rain the previous day. Required to hire and pay for a trolley and caddy. Good young course, well designed and well presented.

Unfortunately, it was too hard for us with everybody over 65.

Excellent course and practice facilities, just a little bit too hard for my ability level and perhaps we should have chosen an easier tee colour. It was very disappointing to finish the round and find that there was no food or drink facilities. We had to spend 2 hours drinking cans of Coke Zero and bags of Crisps.
