The hotel is lovely and the staff excellent. the room was very good and overall it was a good stay…However, the hotel is miles away from anywhere and you are either going to need a car or be willing to spend a fortune on taxi journeys… call a taxi from the hotel and it will cost you 10 euros just to pick you up, as such it becomes sensible to eat at the hotel… The food and drinks are not cheap, but for a 5 star hotel not over the top expensive (apart from gin and tonics, which are expensive)…The main restaurant serves a good breakfast, but the menu for lunch and dinner is not huge and does not vary, very little typical Spanish good. The Cojito, which is their signature restaurant, is very good, however on one of the evenings we ate there, everything was brilliant and on another it took us 45 minutes to have our food order taken.. Overall, I have rated the hotel poorly

Hey the Hotel was great bit just a bit quiet and and a bit remote, the rooms were great and the breakfast was good and the use of the spa was great I think if because it was out of season it was quiet with one bar open out of the 7 advertised, this meant we had to go out and find food for us and entertainment users were around 18euro per ride 36 each way we managed to find a couple of places open and a local Irish bar which catered for u our entertainment

Really lovely resort hotel 15 minutes from Sotogrande Marina and 25 minutes from Estepona. Rooms excellent, great wet room shower, nice spa and pools. Outdoor pools closed in February but indoor one heated. Onsite bistro very good, didn’t try the Michelin star one. Breakfast in the clubhouse was excellent.

The hotel and staff were fantastic.The golf course was in poor condition but probably due to the amount of rain before we arrived.The cost of eating at hotel was expensive.We will return to the hotel another time I am sure as we enjoyed our stay

This place grows on you. Breakfast with a spectacular view of the sun rising from the sea. Excellent restaurants with great staff. Good spa facilities. On site golf course is a gem

Very comfortable and stylish hotel. Good attention to detail, customer service. Good food, although limited dining options as not in high season. No other nearby dining options - Sotogrande Marina is c 10km away. There was a large conference and photoshoot taking place at the hotel during our stay, which made for very heavy traffic and limited parking at times, especially when raining. Overall, we would stay at hotel again if in the area, but only after ensuring that no such functions were in the calender coinciding with our dates.
