Stunning course. A lot of fun!

A super course, very welcoming staff and beautiful clubhouse.

I really didn't enjoy the layout. You really need to know your way around...not for me.

Condition was just ok, Some holes were very narrow and green to tee fragmented.

Very difficult, tight and technical course. Limited access to fairways for buggies and lots of steep banks to walk

Great Course!

The course was a bit tired in places but still a very enjoyable round of golf.

Very challenging very hilly in places always a lie above or below your feet going to fast which we all liked a very good experience overall

The marshall was a bit rude- asking us to speed up quite agressively - the expected time to get round was impossible given that buggies were not allowed on the course and the group behind us were a hole behind

Good experience greens a bit poor in places

Played here before and the condition this time was very much poorer. Greens weren’t great at all. It was probably the most welcoming of all 3 courses. Almost 6hrs for a round wasn’t ideal.

We love this golf course it is the second time we have visited. Very traditional Spanish feel to it in the clubhouse and the practice facilities were great. Greens were a bit hit and miss in places but still very good.

Enjoyed the course, challenging as it was our first time playing there. Marshall was annoying constantly trying to speed every group up. Would definitely visit agsin

Not a particularly pleasant experience. Signage was poor for red tees & easy to go the wrong way which slowed progress. Steep sides to fairways and greens very patchy in places. Hassle from marshalls who wanted our buggies back for afternoon slots.

Again - another great course, which was extremely hard to negotiate, but was definitely fun to play. May have over watered in places due to sand having to be put down.

Group of 26 upon arrival at course pro shop staff and restaurant staff extremely helpful food in restaurant first class.. free water and a golf pouch bag for every member of group.. the course was very enjoyable from a group range of age and handicaps great challenging and picturesque holes.. would recommend without a doubt and ass group organiser was delighted with my choice of pick as the group really enjoyed..

A proper golf course with some tight holes. Lots of elevation and a few blind shots that are not for the faint hearted!!

This was harder than Casanova but the holes were amazing. A real challenge but thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Love the course and the clubhouse

Course had some lovely views and was a nice challenge of short and longer holes. The greens played well although looked a bit overplayed at times. Clubhouse facilities were nice and the food was lovely after the round.

Excellent course and clubhouse. Warm welcome during our visit. This was the best overall course during our visit with excellent greens and lush fairways.

5 hour round as a 4 ball using buggies , the course is not for a high handicap player , would say 15 max , the length of time taken was due to the difficulty of the course , greens were slow

Tough course, very hilly, lots of blind shots. Greens were receptive but very spongy.

My wife found this course a challenge. I loved it. this was the only course where we played as a 2 ball. Again made so welcome and the course was in incredible condition. there is one hole where there is a dogleg and another dogleg. Never played a hole like it in my life. Also look out for the par 3s. Another great course and one to make sure you play if over in Malaga.

A beautiful course winding through tree-lined valleys. This meant some very tough tee shots but they tended to favour a faded (slicer) like me so managed to navigate round with a good score. Traditional clubhouse and bar to relax in after your round. Overall an amazing course and one of our favourites. We took almost 5 hours to get round and so our transfer was waiting 45 mins for us, but it was busy and there were some long buggy rides between holes so should have been expected had we played there before.

What a great course, very tight great greens in fantastic condition with a traditional Spanish clubhouse.

The course was in good condition. Staff were helpful. The course gave Hire handicaps the chance to produce a score.

I really enjoyed playing this course, and found it a good challenge for playing calibre. Six Par 3's, six par 4's and six par 5's is, I feel, how most golf courses should be configured. Highly recommend.

Probably the best course on our trip, lovely settings, course in really good condition. However do not leave carts unattended and out of site, thief’s stole money from some of our group, they moved the yellow tee on the third to the top of the hill, which was around the corner from the carts, in this time they went through everyone’s bags and stole the money. Even had the audacity to zip everyone’s bag back up afterwards.

Cracking course, tough greens but very playable I'm off 15

Had some higher handicappers that struggled with course difficulty, fantastic conditions.

Excellent course, brilliant facilities, lovely club shop and an excellent driving range. A must play if you're near the area. Unfortunately got stuck behind a very slow 4 ball which ended up making our round last 4 hours 45 minutes. We didn’t but we know other groups behind us then we’re getting frustrated.

This course was the best I have ever seen. Very good condition and staff were very helpful.

Great course would highly recommend. Wasn't in the condition it usually would be due to the unseasonal rain (nobody's fault).

Due to recent rain buggies we’re not allowed on fairway so as before slow round with additional walking. Facilities were good. Must costasol delux transfers were brilliant their staff were friendly and you could set your watch by them on pick up times. The quality of vehicles was excellent.

Unfair star rating because of weather. Poor rain downpour lead to us being called in after 3 holes.. club house was fantastic. We had big fry and was decent grub. No offer of compensation for no golf

Season opening at Costa del Golf(Sol). Full House. Quit slow because of many people who don’t find the fairway. Hard to play but still awesome. Enjoyed it and will came back.

An undulating course with hard to hit greens which were lightning fast making it difficult to score. The sort of track you need to play a few times to be able to fully enjoy.

Excellent golf course and complex. Course is very testing. Round took around 5 1/2 hours due to having to keep to cart path on a lot of holes. Greens were very fast. Nice touch from club we all received a gift pack which included. Poker chip ball marker, divot repair tool, wooden tees all in zip up pouch that you can put on your bag. Nice momento to keep

The club was friendly on arrival. Pace of play was good. Holes had character generally and it was a nice ease in to the trip.

Very much enjoyed this course, only down side is that when we arrived they said that we would get paired with random one ball which we did not want, pace of play was awful was a 6 hour round

I loved it!! Beautiful course, we had a fun four ball. The two ball in front of us was slow at times. But loved the clubhouse, facilities, pro shop and how accommodating the course was to us! The one unfortunate thing is the club and the two ball we played with us warned us about thieves on the course. But otherwise great day out!

Good course

The timing for drop off and pickup were just right.

El Chaparral was a standout course for us. It offered stunning views and was in excellent condition. Each hole presented its own unique challenge, and the natural beauty of the surroundings really elevated the experience. Golf buggies were included here as well, which made getting around the course a breeze. Final Thoughts Overall, this golf trip with YourGolfTravel exceeded our expectations. Tricky course, very tight and quite "tricked up". Great to play though and the greens were like carpets.

The reception we received was great, staff really attentive and helpful. Complementary water and bag with ball markers, pitch mark repairer and tees for our whole party of 16. Some greens were suffering a bit and not allowed on quite a few fairways. Makes it a hard round for less mobile, like me,as there are many steep inclines to negotiate.

Some amazing scenery and some decent holes. The greens let this course down a little in my opinion. Some of the course was also very wet in places despite it not raining in the build up to playing there.

Again with any hilly course their are blind shots and corners to negotiate, only a couple of holes were straight. Buggies essential. Clubhouse lovely , staff welcoming.

Was a thinking golfers course

Great golf course and good location if staying in Benalmadena -very technical - need to hit the ball straight. Greens were not the best - a little fluffy and slow but seemed to roll ok.

The hardest course

A group of sixteen, handicap 8 to 30, enjoyed by all greens needed work.

An interesting course that we thought was going to be the best but actually probably ranked as our least favourite overall, still deserves a 7/10 though

Lovely course, very challenging for higher handicaps but enjoyable. Course not in the best condition when we played but not too bad.

Beautiful location and some stunning holes. Out of the three courses we played, greens seemed under maintenance. So that would be the only thing really.

Green very, very disappointing

A lot of caution needed on buggy paths . Steep in many places with no barriers.

Great golf club a challenge for a few

Tough course with odd layout, seemed as though they need a bit of TLC. Greens and tee boxes poor, and not as an attractive course as the others we played in Malaga. Wouldn't return.

Great looking and traditional old feel, very enjoyable

Superb course which was well maintained. Very slow golf as was packed to capacity with many golfers struggling with the course losing balls and dragging the pace down.

The course was beautiful. It was a pleasure to play golf here , we loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful.It was our first time driving buggies which we adapted it to quickly and enjoyed the experience. We loved the club afterwards for well earned refreshments in the beautiful surroundings. I cannot thank Your Golf Travel enough for organising a very enjoyable and successful golfing holiday for our group. The organising of transfers, and tee times were flawless. Really enjoyed the round here despite some persistent rain for our first 5 holes. A technical challenge with much thought needed to score well. Greens in superb condition and very quick so we consider these to be the best of our trip by some measure. 200 yd par 3 to finish is a real tester ! Staff very friendly, the clubhouse and bar have real character with reasonable prices and good food quality. Would love to play it again.

Great course in a great location. Tree lined so accuracy off the tee is needed, that said most of the holes fell back to the middle of the fairway. Would recommend playing and would go back. Stunning old club house.

Lovely course, great condition, best we played out of the 3. Good facilities. Hard for an 18 handicapper but would love to play again. Staff very friendly.

Course was in wonderful condition, but the slow play was an issue, 6 hours to get around the course,then the bus picked us up at 6 o'clock, 3 of our groups were still out playing ,so were not happy when they had to come in and get straight on the bus,without a chance for a drink

My favourite. The sense that you never really crossed other holes and the natural way the course sat in the hills was great.

Beautiful course in an outstanding setting some cheeky holes which we would play differently if we go back which is highly lightly

I can only but speak highly of Chapparal. The setting is beautiful, the course is exceptional with lots of challenging never similar holes and the staff go that extra mile, especially this time when we had an issue with the booking.

We had a great welcome from the moment we arrived at the golf course. The lady who greeted us was amazing. The course was challenging but in great condition.

Quite a quirky course with each hole an individual challenge. Very enjoyable.

After being told this course was very technical and difficult particularly on the front nine, we surprisingly enjoyed the experience. There are lots of trees which make the fairways look very tight on the front nine, but providing you hit a reasonably straight drive, most holes were interesting but not too difficult. Holes in general were on the shorter side, other than a couple of long par 3's. The 18th is great as is a par 3 that is played across a 'live' Road.

Beautiful golf course through the pine trees.Up and down the hills. Pleasant welcome by the lady in the pro shop on arrival. Clubhouse is very traditional spanish.

Beautiful well organised course, very welcoming people and enjoyable day. This was our favourite course out of the 3 we played.

A nice course with some very interesting holes. The greens were good considering the amount of traffic that goes over them

Too many blind wouldn't want to play again

I didn't like this course. Very tight and quiet a few holes were snakes rather than dog legs. Very intimidating drives on a lot of holes and most of the par threes were very long and if you were short goodnight. It is a challenge and perhaps it was because it was my last round and I was tired but I wouldn't be rushing back.

Nicely laid out course but greens were in a terrible state

One of the best layout course I’ve played. Very pretty, well designed, challenging and great fun. The reason why I didn’t rank this higher was because the greens were poor. Which was such a shame because I think this place has huge potential

The greens really let the course down. Lots of pitch marks unrepaired and generally very poorly kept. There are far too many blind tee shots without a bell. We had a few near misses within our group's. On the plus side, one of the best half way houses I have seen at a course.

A nice course but very wet in places which made the condition patchy in places

I did email after our first round to see if it was possible to change coarses for our second round but did not receive a reply. Although the general coarse layout and facilities were good, the general coarse condition was very poor,several greens had only just had new turf laid and other's badly diseased making putting a complete lottery. Many of the tee boxes were overgrown and difficult to set up. In our opinion several holes should not have been in play. We were generally extremely disappointed.

Out off the 4 courses we played all the lads out this 4th on the list. Iv never played it. Some off the lads have. Herd fantastic things about it. But didn’t think it was the best we have played. Started said the course and greens are in the best condition that can be. But they were not. Very patchy fairways and greens. Green were slow for Spain courses. Only had 1 food place on the 9th. And my word was it expensive. Nearly 8 euros for 1 can off beer. Very disappointed.

Very different to the courses we normally play in the uk, was narrow so needed to be straight. I personally thought some of the greens were sub standard.

Lovely course and lovely facilities. Delay first day due to storm but this couldn’t be helped. Quite a tight course. Took about 4.5 hours. Only problem was distance from hotel and cost of taxi being 80 euro.

If you a big wide hitter perfect for you not a thinking course, and they apologised For some of the greens , better courses to play even tho it has a high rating

Very enjoyable.

All the lads had different opinions off the golf courses in different ways, but everyone enjoyed the golf, there was just one problem myself and one of the other lads had to play with 2 strangers a man and a lady from Germany and we was playing a competition between us all, the couple was very nice but they should have not paired us up with other people, apart from that everything was ok.

Wonderful course. However on a separate note some of the organisation by Your Golf Travel was unacceptable and chaotic. Club hire, we were told to collect clubs from Clubs for Hire at their shop in Malaga Airport, problem being we found on arrival this had been shut for months!! Called Your Golf Travel who said they would call back but didn’t! Finally Clubs for Hire sent a text with photos of clubs to say they had left them at the hotel, problem is they had left them at the wrong hotel!!! Eventually they turned up. Also the welcome packs at both golf courses that Your Golf Travel promised didn’t materialise, both golf clubs said they knew nothing about this, so was quite embarrassing. With the above would probably try a different company next time.

We like this course and will play again

Interesting experience this one, good facilities and club house etc, all staff polite and friendly. Not an easy course for high handicappers and greens weren't in great condition (nowhere near as good as Calanova). I doubt you can walk the course, so defo need a buggy and then a life insurance policy because some of those paths are ridiculous...not sure I would come back and the sentiment the same from the group. Shame really as I played quite well personally;-)

Getting chased by the Marshall wasn't great speed of play considering was Ambrose bit rough

Charges us for an extra buggy despite us having 4 buggy’s confirmed Also stated no free sleeve of balls or water was included and had to argue with them to receive this. Was also told no additional buggy was available to hire 4 in total, soon as we said we’d pay their miraculously come one available . Had to also wait another 20 minutes after our tee time to play as buggy’s were out on the course with other guests. Was also told our booking was a 4 ball and a two ball despite me confirming with YGT I only wanted 2 x 3 balls and no additional parties to play with us

Great day out. The course was in great condition and the greens were quick. Very tight fairways no room for error! If you missed the fairways you struggling.

We were supposed to have a sleeve of balls, but eventually they gave them to us. Overall a good game of golf.

Not sure what the prices were for the individual rounds. This was a very nice course the second best out of the four we played.

Beautiful course, it was great to play a completely different course from El Chapperal . I rated how difficult the course was as hard because you could never see where your ball was going.

Some very tough holes on this course and you absolutely need to stay on the fairways as straying too far off could easily mean a lost ball. As a result, play was slow, especially towards the end of the round. Very picturesque course. Condition of bunkers was excellent.

This course has everything, lovely clubhouse, putting green, driving range and picturesque holes. I personally found it difficult(maybe down to alcohol from the night before) however some of our party had really good rounds with one getting an hole-in-one!

Got chased around by the Marshall in under 4 hours. Greens we sandy.

Again, another test of your game particularly if you are not hitting the ball straight.Several holes where you must play irons off the tee to be in position for your second shot.Wait until you get to the 17th, real target golf.

varied course with some interesting holes. you'd need a buggy to go round the paths which at times was like driving through jurassic park. I'd play it again

Don’t expect any flat fairways, as with Cabopina it’s very hilly, but with great views, and definitely with both courses you need a buggy. Well worth the money we paid, but if using a taxi from Belmanadema expect to pay the price as it’s some distance to travel.

We were lucky, went out with a member otherwise we wouldn't of had a clue. Greens were gone/bare loads of blind shots. A real buggy course (very hilly). You'd have to play it a lot to enjoy it though.

Great course really fun to play. They do need an active Marshall the play was slow due to drunks.

Great golf course! Layout was excellent difficulty of course was tough and the green complexes were tricky. Some really well thought out holes and some absolutely stunning holes visually and also to play. Most definitely one too recommend.

From start to finish very disappointed with this course. Played about 5 years ago really happy with the experience. Sadly has gone downhill drastically, won't ever go back again.

We really enjoyed this course it's a short course but a challenging course there is a few blind holes and the green's are in good condition .

There must be a real problem on this course. The greens are the worst we had ever played on. Bare patches, uneven truly appealing. Asked around and locally it’s known there is a problem and also trip advisor also details the issues. Avoid until trip advisor says it’s got better. Your golf travel should not be using it. 5 hour 45 minute to play 17 holes because we finished in the dark. Started at 2.40pm finished at 8.20. Massively disappointing. Nice clubhouse though staff rather aloof and difficult to get served. Think they believe they have a top course, which at the moment they definitely do not.

Poor facilities, very slow, over populated, not enough buggies as later tee times were waiting for our buggies.

Very helpful staff, the greens were good with the course was well kept, I would play there again.

Great layout, but delayed start due to no buggies. Greens were shockingly bad and a section of the course is next to a dusty building site which ruins the experience a little.

Great course for society

This was our 4th visit to Chaparral and it is a quirky 6x par3, 6x par4, 6x par5 set up. Many interesting and individual holes that you remember long after your visit - especially the last two holes. They have just opened a halfway house serving drinks and food. However, they have lost the greens this year which was very disappointing and on one green we had to move our balls to avoid the raised patches that had been inserted. The putting green was completely dead and out of commission. Stark contrast to last year when the greens were good and moderate speed.

Very very disappointing greens. They were terrible, diseased and just marks all over them. Course was nice but the greens really did let them down, a shame

Quirky. Can punish a good shot and reward a bad. Interesting but not a must play for me

Nice course……lots of associated building going on around, a good challenge!!

High handicapper but managed to get around ok. Course basically built around ravines and gorges. Greens in ok condition but patchy in places. Played it twice which helped.

A pretty course with some inspiring holes in the hillside. Well watered. Greens were excellent. Always soft and forgiving on the fairways. Nice bar for a beer and food on the terrace after the round. Clubs can be hired but were about 36 euros.

The Course was very good all round , from booking in , to after round drinks. The only downside is the pace of play ( Over 5 and a half hours) mainly due to the fact that the cart path can be a long walk to your shot. If this could be addressed then El Chapparal would rate even higher.Bar excellent and prices reasonable.

Loved the course, clubhouse and on course facilities were lovely.

What a wonderful golf course. Has holes on it that you could compare the Woburn or Centurion. Highly recommended. Stunning views and a really good finishing hole which is a par 3 that is overlooked by the fantastic golf club bar/terrace. A must NTP hole for a group. The 8th hole is fantastic too. We will return here too one day for sure.

Unnecessarily difficult without being interesting. Very coarse grass unlike the other courses we played which had lush, soft grass. Very steep course but buggies are extremely old and worn out so actually quite dangerous on some of the very steep drops. The holes are very samey and uninteresting.

Had a great day here apart from we couldn’t take our phones on the course because there’s been thieves about so we left them in a safe. Unfortunately meant no photos of a great course

The best course I've ever played. The course has 18 different and uniquely challenging holes. Beautiful scenery. Tricky but true greens. Amazing facilities (clubhouse food and service was exceptional). We played as an early bird and got round in under 4 hours. The clubs we hired were very good condition.

Great course proper challenge slightly held up on most holes but who really cared as we were on holiday.....

Very tricky golf course surrounded by lots of trees.You don't have to be long but straight is a bons.

Greens were lightning fast all staff were very accommodating, lovely course, enjoyed it will definitely go again

We asked to play this one as we played it three years ago. Tee boxes a little worn but the course is still outstanding. Beautiful course for the straight hitter.

Easily one of the best course I have ever played. Overall condition was immaculate! I didn't have one bad lie and the greens were like carpet. There is also a two tier driving range and putting green. Only minor downside was the slowness of play. Took us over 5 hours which was partly down to groups in front but also buggies being strictly 'path only'. But overall, thoroughly recommend!

Best condition in 10 years visiting always a great trek

Really disappointed with this course the condition was okay but loads of construction going on which was off putting although suppose could not be helped. the lay out was not great a lot of narrow fairways and trees in the middle. Some holes seemed to be just squeezed in. Our party was excited by the 6.6.6 of par 3, 4, 5 but in truth this was irrelevant and didn’t really help. I would not go back here but if it’s close to base it’s playable just but as good as some in the area.

Great little course, one we have been wanting to play for a while. Get past the drive into the course which is a building site and you get to a lovely old style Spanish golf course carved into the little valleys of the mountains. Definitely need a buggey the distance from greens to tee boxes can be quite long. Would recommend.

Not a course we would play again and not a course you should play if you have bad knees. We were not allowed to take the buggy onto a number of the fairways and then the walk from the buggy path to the centre of the fairway was sometimes down very steep banks which were not easy to negotiate in slippery conditions.

We really enjoyed this course. In great condition for the time of year. bar and restaurant were very good

Nice course and very well established. The biggest negative is mostly you can't take buggies on the course, and you can be left with some very steep slopes to descend, not good for anyone with a disability, or trouble with balance.

100% stunning will definitely go back to play again

Course, even with buggies was very tiring. Course very narrow and extremely challenging in the wind.

Nice course but not in very good condition. Greens poor and quite slow compared to other courses although we did play quite late and the staff said that the grass grows quickly during the day and hence greens looked like they had stud marks on them. Some freens also had evidence of recent tineing and lots of bald patches on fairway. Lots of blind holes but a couple of the guys scored 38 points so it was playable.

A very hilly course with lots of steep access to fairways which for healthy individuals is ok. However some of our party were over 70 with ailments that hindered their access.

Very slow greens we're shocking

Some holes I'd argue are unplayable, certainly for a 15+ handicap golfer. In all honest disappointing, clubhouse very nice, some picturesque holes but on the whole disappointing. Some greens are also the size of a postage stamp which made it more than a challenge. Also being told to watch your belonging is such a shame. Portugal is far superior in terms of golf and the whole experience.

Unfortunately round was held up by a earlier 4 ball who were not challenged by course Marshall. The condition of the course was poor, greens were very tired. I was asked to pay for an additional buggy as they refused to allow 2 buggy’s per tee group? Unfortunately I also lost my sports watch or it was stolen from my golf bag, the hotel reception contacted the club but they were not very helpful. Please can you contact them to enquire.

Building work in places interesting course nice staff

Love this course! 6x par 5s, 6x par 4s and 6x par 3s make this a bit different. Some of the holes are stunning on the eye and the closing two holes are a great finish. Greens are a bit slow and tear up easily even with soft spikes. Traditional clubhouse and bar area. We played here twice and got a great deal for the second day which wasn’t part of our package. The most tree lined of the five courses we played. Can’t wait to go back.

Least enjoyable of the trip - course was just stupid. 6 par 5's that are only par 4's. Staff we're rude on the course and greens soggy. Noone enjoyed the course layout and the fact you had to walk 2 miles to and from the buggy each hole made it unenjoyable

Great golf experience

we were at first on a 11-00 tee time we arrived at 10-30 but tee time was 12-20? course was great but the wait was a bit much! they had put a comp on?

Played this course about 5 years ago, greens were faster back then.

Loved the course, facilities and staff. we played with a couple of members who were nice. Layout of the course was great to play. greens were quick as usual. first time i have played in Spain, so i am sure the greens are normal, just me who is not used to them.

One of my favourite courses. Amazing holes. Difficult start, then it settles.

Great gold course that will be challenging for any golfer but also fair if you play well.

By far the best course of the tour. Everyone loved every hole. Many if the holes were quite quirky and needed quite a bit of thought. Cannot wait to revisit.

Wasn't impressed with the tee boxes on this course and greens were a bit pitted and much slower than the other 3 courses we played. Quite a few hard holes but plenty of average / easy ones. They supplied safe deposit boxes in buggies as common with a lot of the courses in Marbella area there was potential for items to be pinched from the buggy where they are parked out of your eye line on tee's and greens. Thankfully we didn't have anything taken - but had to be on your guard and meant you couldn't fully relax.

A very challenging course, not overly long but very tight in places, it was a real challenge and quite penal in places. The greens were good and course was quiet. Really good facilities, restaurant and food was very good. Staff very friendly.

Excellent course with small tricky greens . As a group of 30 we all thoroughly enjoyed the on and off course experience . This course ( along with Cabopino and Calanova ) represents much better value than a lot of its better known compatriots along the costa del sol.

Still a nice course good clubhouse a lot of walking due to carts not allowed on fairways for a lot of holes.

Mostly good holes but felt a little disjointed with a number of strangely designed holes e.g. 17th.

Great golf course, tough, but a great experience, quirky, because of the fact that it's 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5's, but they are all different and give you an all round challenge to your game

Played this course many times only problem is you can’t take your golf cart onto many holes and they are steep banks to go up and down to the course but clubhouse is great and you overlook the 18th green which is a par 3

Buggies were not allowed on the course which made it very difficult for two of our players. A lot of steep banks to traverse from path to fairway Won’t be playing this again

Will not go again here to demanding physically for the older golfer even with a buggy because you cannot go on the fairways with buggies so your always walking to your ball with 2/3 clubs ,time to complete round 5hours 40 minutes

Found it tuff but enjoyable

I was warned this was a tough test and expected it to be much harder. Greens were in poor condition sadly but I'm sure they are not normally as bad.

quite a few of the greens had been patched and while this had been well done the texture did change which made judging the pace tricky. A fair test and good facilities.

Lovely clubhouse & a great challenging course. Greens were in good condition & you are allowed to take buggies onto the course on certain holes but on the ones you can't, some steps down the banks would have been welcome. The staff here provided us with a lovely welcome, we were all given a free bottle of water & offered our group 20% discount in the shop. Great venue.

Excellent course and location, very busy indeed as one would expect this time of year (Oct), however course in great condition, lovely picturesque and intelligently designed holes, not too difficult scoring was quite good for first time playing here, position is very important, great clubhouse in elevated position, great choice for holiday golf.

Ball very often above or below feet and greens ropey to say the least.

we loved the setting of the course & clubhouse but could not believe how bad the greens were. we are mostly social golfers but I am sure a group of serious golfers would potentially of walked of the course after the first green, it was like a football pitch.

A nice club house, well run and lovely views from the club house. The greens were a bit ropey and some of the tees needed steps put in. On One of them we had to jump down from a small wall.

Has to be the worse course in all off Spain shocking greens and fairways never mind the thieves that hide around the course waiting for you to stray from your bag no warning from the club about thieves this has got really out off hand and we were not the only groups that lost money and clubs on arrival there English speaking valet told us to put our club's in a safe secure place which we all did and came down them to collect club's only to find out money and clubs missing NEVER EVER play this course and ygt are looking into this at time off feedback

This isthe worst course I’ve played abroad , tee off where dreadful, fairways where like playing off semi rough , and the greens , where full of pitch marks , not impressed whatsoever , wouldn’t recommend to anyone , the full golfing party had the same reviews

Very disappointing,the greens were a patchwork quilt and impossible to putt on with any confidence also much of the course needed tidying.The starters also seemed a total law unto themselves, it is the first time in 25 yrs golfing with groups in Spain or Portugal that the group were not allowed to the 1st Tee to watch. We would not play this course again

Poor greens and tees we found the course very picturesque but not in good condition the tees were rather scruffy and the greens were in poor condition. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff but would not recommend.
