Cabopino Golf Club

The first few holes seemed hemmed in between houses and apartments. The back nine was much more picturesque and had lovely sea views. The course is shorter but tighter with tree lined fairways. The only thing that it needs to improve were the condition of the greens. Having said that I think the course was in winter mode.

Wow! Lost a lot of balls on the narrow holes, but a great place to play!

We got our best weather this day which helped. The course was tight, but very nice. We had a good time in the clubhouse afterwards, the staff were great with us.

Our group were not particularly enamoured with this course as it was too tight for the skill level on display. I don’t doubt it would be a good test of most golfers accuracy. Our best player (12 handicap) threatened to walk off after 9 holes Staff in the pro shop could do with a customer experience refresher !

Not my favourite course. The first 7/8 were very samey with no character.

Small course with iron shots being main focus, holes 4-8 not the best but the rest of the holes had amazing views and some challenges. Facilities was small, but still enjoyable

I think sadly the course has had a lot of traffic on it and you could tell. Sadly the greens were a tad poor but the rest of the course was fine.

Greens was in need of some work, they was patchy

The first nine holes are amongst villas and overall felt a bit scruffy. The back half opens out and has beautiful views of the sea. Almost felt like two different courses

We had 18 golfers , 1 two ball and 4 four ball groups the 2 ball was paired with 2 other golfers which was fine as I was in that group being the organiser I wanted to get in 1st to do the cards etc etc , I read reviews about checking the buggies for damage before the round and got all players to video there buggies and any issues could be sorted out before we started,I had to put a deposit down on the buggies of €150, greens were poor with pitch marks all over them and what looked like spike marks , whether this was because the greens were a little long im not sure , clubhouse is lovely

Really good course.

The only disappointment thing was the way nobody looked after the greens as in the players.

Lovely course quite short but not easy

A nice day out but it felt a bit unloved. Greens full of pitch marks. Very dangerous terrain on cart paths with steep drops. They need some safety rails up there before someone kills themself.

Gas to pay €150 euro deposit which took 3 days to get back, as took 2 x payments out of account

Lovely undulating course, some very tight holes. Driver not a necessity for this round it's more about placement. A great course and so much fun

One of the best courses I have ever played. The third hole is one of the very best I have ever seen. The ocean views from elevated tee boxes are incredible.

Fantastic views and a fantastic bar area the round was a little slow the course was interesting but very tight with property surrounding a lot of the fairways the were not the best but I get the impression this course gets hammered throughout the year we are down to play this course next year with YGT but the group would like me to look at changing to another course in the area

a tight course wit a lot of blind holes making club selection a challenge.the course itself was great in places damp/wet in others. the greens though looke a bit rough and bobbly. noticed there had been routine maitenance carried out on them. again a challenge and a good course

Group of 26 well treated locked after by staff nothing was any bother.. course was fantastic some great challenging golf holes for a group range of low and high handicappers with all the making comment on how good it was playing particularly the 3 hole superb.. another that as trip organiser the positive comments made from the it made feel as ease.. one I will recommend to others for sure..

I LOVED THIS COURSE. Every hole is AWESOME. the course was immaculate. Dont get me wrong. this course is a challenge and not at all easy BUT one of the most enjoyable courses I have ever played. Again on arrival made so welcome. you do pay a deposit to look after the buggy but when you see the course you will understand why. You are up and down several times with very steep hills. Some of the views on this hole are incredible. If you are going to Malaga this course must be on your list. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic Course. Great holes & views.

Course renovations had been performed the week before our visit, greens were still in the recovery stage. Cored / Seeded / Dressed, shame as the course & facilities were very good.

Course was in horrendous condition, so much so we were about the only people on it. the fairways were just covered in sand and the greens had just been treated. In good condition the course would be fun to play but in the current state it should be closed until it recovers!

Greens had been holitined but we’re still quite quick very tight course small woods and irons had to think you’re way around but very enjoyable

The first 9 holes was cancelled due to work on the fairways and greens so we could only play the back nine twice,the greens on the back nine had been slicked and sanded and the fairways were covered in sand so playing the back nine was bad. I would like somebody to phone me on Monday at 4 if possible please thsnks

Most difficult course we played on this holiday, but really enjoyable. Staff were friendly and food was good. Able to play 2 three balls by paying for an extra buggy.

Difficult course, very indifferent.

Great course, but found it very difficult, greens were like lightning and bunkers protecting all the greens. Back nine is better than the first nine, signature hole is the third, a nice straight drive needed. Very hard if windy.

First time here will come back again, group all said the same, hole 3 is magnificent but not if you are afraid of heights 😂

Loved this course, challenging but fun. Fairways and greens (really fast) were in brilliant condition. My favourite of the 3 courses we played.

Great course, quite tough and very up and down fairways. Challenging for all level of golfers. Range was a bit disappointing and it’s far away from the clubhouse. Stuck behind 2 slow groups made our 4 ball round take over 5 hours, which was a bit ridiculous. I would recommend the course simply for the third hole alone!

Amazing course high handicappers will struggle a little.

Great course would highly recommend. Wasn't in the condition it usually would be due to the unseasonal rain (nobody's fault).

Tough and very hilly

Unfortunately the course had suffered alot of rain,so was very wet in places. The course itself if very nice with superb views.

Very disappointed with the front 9 layout and condition of the greens. However the back 9 was much better.

The course is great however the greens was left with a lot of marks from people not repairing pith marks

Lovely picturesque course. Pace fine for us as new to golf. The Marshall did tell us off for being slow but it was the men in front holding us up! We felt a bit unfair on us as ladies. The group in front were asked to skip two holes on the back nine and we kept pace right up until the eighteenth!

A very interesting and challenging course for all abilities. Food and drink buggy service with the gps was a good hit with our group.

Made feel welcome from the moment we arrived. All 12 players in the group commented on the golfing experience after our visit. A return visit definitely on the cards.

Great course requiring accuracy from the tee and a good short game to play well. The greens are very quick and can make even very good players look foolish. Unsuitable for beginners.

Some spectacular holes but overall condition was quite poor and a stark contrast to Calanova and El Chaparral. Facilities were good and staff very friendly.

Very narrow, tight course and if you spray the ball forget it. A few badly designed holes, one par five I think it's the 12th that is a crazy hole. I wouldn't be rushing back.

Loved the golf course and stunning view, but spoiled by a group of 4 tortoise's in front us slowing the round down for us and everyone behind us,

In future you should provide Full address details to get to the Golf Club so that it can be put into SatNav. Also the Clubs all expected vouchers to be provided.

5.5 hours. Held up everywhere. No marshalls

Tight, tight, tight..! Its a beautifully presented course, lots of elevation changes and feature holes where you are 150ft above the green and fairway launching you ball into space.. Cut through lots of houses and having nets to stop balls going into the houses. Unfortunately not my kind of course as really short so rarely used my driver, but ideal for short hitters and especially straight hitter 🤣

Very fast greens in great condition. However, the front 9 felt a bit squeezed in and the driving range was a very long buggy ride fro the clubhouse.

Lovely setting for this golf course, although some holes feel as if your penned in by the apartments that surround some holes, we all found the greens too fast which spoilt our round a little.

Great views from the first tee, and overall didn’t disappoint

The views from the clubhouse and some of the holes are incredible. Unfortunately it was painfully slow and the condition of the tee boxes and fairways was very poor. However the greens were great and extremely quick which made up for it slightly. Also the par 4 3rd hole where you tee off for the top of the hill down was brilliant golf hole one of the best we've played.

Short but very quirky golf course. Not one for a novice and many holes very tight driving but very short dog legs etc. O/all not a great golf experience. Approx 15 min from Fuengirola.

Course in perfect condition

Probably the lowest quality of course in terms of facilities and welcomes, but a the actual course was good, tight but not as tight as Los Arqueros. Not overly welcoming staff, but the person running the snack and drinks buggy on the course more than made up for it.

Another lovely course. Friendly staff. Spectacular scenery and some very memorable holes. Nice restaurant with some lovely snacks.

Dark when we started at 8.10am, greens very good, pace of play brisk. Pleasant friendly playing partners on all three golf courses.

Absolutely loved the course for a high handicapper. Obviously a couple of very awkward holes but a lovely course. Excellent greens and incredibly picturesque.

was the hardest of the 4 courses standard of fairways compared to others not as good greens so fast you couldnt hold anything groups in fromt held everyone up and when its 32 degrees its not good marshall did have a word on the 12 th in fairness, and they jogged on was annoyed at one thing got to pro shop we were asked for 150 euros with credit card to secure buggys for damage being told not to carry cards etc we didnt have a lot on us she got funny and said we got to pay we mangaed to get 100 euros together in cash found out later that we were the only ones to pay it! group of stag behind us never paid a penny was well pissed off with that

We as a large group always love the quirkyness of this course. Tight driving lines, tough pin positions and usually fast greens ( unfortunately they had been hollowtined a week earlier). Great Staff all round , very helpful and welcoming.

Some wonderful holes will leave you querying your club selection, but some wonderful holes, the third is an absolute joy irrespective of your handicap. We simply timed our arrival wrongly hence the two stars for the sandy greens, otherwise would have been five.

Stunning course which everyone loved. Some tricky holes especially teeing of surrounded by villas but it all added to the fun. The cart hire is a must

Lovely course, immaculate condition. Big issue upon arrival, Your Golf Travel had booked our tee time for 08.50, despite us being picked up at 09.30 and the itinerary showing 11.00 tee off. This was on the itinerary and when I highlighted it to YGT they assured me there’d be no issues, but there was and I had to argue to get us out on the course. Your Golf Travel have not even acknowledged this error in any email correspondence I’ve been having with them.

Facilities a little basic but course has a lot of charm, with short’ish layout but plenty of characterful & interesting holes. Group of 6 really enjoyed this venue & bar staff really friendly.

Slope rating does this no favours a proper test of a gold course short on yardage but everything else is a test

Buggies only allowed on paths even though the course had signs on fairway of when to return to path, no need to calibrate the buggies to stay on path. Very tight course, the tee position on one hole from the top of the hill to fairway 100ft below is the best part of the course but wouldn’t go back

Course in poor condition. Again forced pairing with much older couple. Lots of pressure to speed up as game progressed Would not play western course in the Spanish Costas again

Although it was a nice course it wasn’t as good as the other courses we played. Although I would play it again.

Tight course in good condition

Delayed start, however we did finish the round in day light. The facilities was closed day soon afer we finished, so we sat in the dark for 40 minutes waiting for a transfer which was late as well.

Nice course and whilst not long very tight and the hardest course we played. It took us a few holes to realise that driving off the tees was not the way to play it. Irons off the tee was order of the day and greens could still be reached in 2. Greens fast and had to be read.

Lovely place and stunning course club house very basic. Only complaint was the Marshall kept on at us to speed up when there was no one behind and we was waiting for the players in front all the way round.

greens played as did the course evenly through the 18 holes.Buggies were a big hit, 19th too.

Nice course with plenty of variation. Well worth adding to any golf holiday/tour. Fastest greens I've encountered so unless you are a good putter don't expect a good score.

Dealt with a gentleman named Richard Falconer. He dealt with me in a very professional manner and had just enough personal touches to make me want to book again. The course is rather short but at times very tight. Greens were lightning but true. All in all, would play again

This was an enjoyable but very challenging course with narrow fairways, trees and quite a lot of water to negotiate. It is probably a course to play more than once to get the best out of it. certainly not for the faint hearted.

I think it was our group's favourite out of the four we played. Average difficulty with some hard holes. They supplied safe deposit boxes in buggies as common with a lot of the courses in Marbella area there was potential for items to be pinched from the buggy where they are parked out of your eye line on tee's and greens. Thankfully we didn't have anything taken - but had to be on your guard and meant you couldn't fully relax.

Most enjoyable be it tight in a couple of places.

We loved this course, it had some fantastic holes with elevated tees, water, bunkers the lot. It punished bad shots but rewarded good shots, we had great fun going round and would definitely return to play again. Food was v good and GPS in buggies a real plus (as could set it in yards!) overall very good.

We went as a group of 30 golfers , handicaps ranging from 5-32 and without failing all enjoyed this course . it was tricky but fair with fast but true greens. The staff in the shop and bar were polite and helpful. would definitely play there again.

Narrow fairways and fast greens made this a tough course, never mind the hills. Great test for the irons. Very scenic course, with great views to Gibraltar and Africa.

Superb condition

A very wet morning did not help but this course was in great condition and I think we all felt we would like to return here at a later date. Interesting holes. Clubhouse not as well appointed as others but a warm welcome.

A hard walking course with some interesting holes! Greens were very fast & it was difficult to hold your ball on the green as they were slick & undulating. Quite a tricky course overall & if you're not on form it will beat you up. Nice food in the clubhouse although prices higher than other courses.

Not my favourite course. I thought the sloping fairways and the fact you couldn’t stop the ball on the greens made it unreasonable. It was all a bit random.

Lovely course in a great location, tight fairways but very playable, too much Bermuda grass made some fairway shots difficult, springy deep grass affecting some shots, few greens under reconstruction which made scoring difficult, but small friendly clubhouse, pleasant staff and great views made it a great afternoon.

we had a great time & th staff were really helpful however we were disappointed with the condition of some of the greens.

A shot course but with many challenges, all our party enjoyed this course, will put this on our list to replay.

A good course, some interesting holes. We were a group of 12 ladies who kept to time!. We had one problem with a green keeper who would not stop watering the green and made us wait then called us through while he slowly would up his hose. We protested that we would hit him but he arrogantly carried on waiving us through. One of our ladies hit his cart, narrowly missing him and that put us all off.
