Media Rotana , is perfectly placed for a short taxi ride to the Emirates & Jumeirah Golf courses, which is a plus . However it has the feel of a corporate travel lodge on steroids . Breakfast not great , so never ate in restaurants for evening meals. Large rooms, but poor water pressure, made showering difficult. Lovely staff . Decent English theme bar if that’s your thing . Not a Holiday hotel , more of a business hotel. I would try somewhere else next time .

Great hotel but a delay in booking in as yourgolftravel had not paid the hotel ...so I had to wait until I could contact the UK to sort out payment....I had paid the full amount 1 month prior to the trip so this delay was annoying.

We had issues in arrival as they placed us in a smoking room. They failed to check when we arrived whether we wanted a smoking or non smoking room. When you book for future clients I would suggest you ensure this is specified at time of book to avoid complaints. The hotel resolved it the next morning but it was not a great start to the stay. The hotel is a little dated and their communication of key things such as the use of restaurants etc. was poor. It was an ok stay but not a 5 star experience, more 3 star.
