Hotel was very good value for money, we had 2 bedroom apartment very clean with a great view of the golf course couldn’t ask for more staff all friendly and loads of choice for breakfast overall good stay

The apartments we had were very spacious and clean. They were two bedroom two bathroom apartments with a kitchen and large balcony. We had 16 apartments all spaced out over a very large complex. Our only concerns was the restaurant we had for breakfast and dinner. It was more like a canteen with self service buffet and the quality of food wasn’t great. The bar was in the other restaurant below the reception and the seating and ambience were not very comfortable. We paid to have a meal there on our last night. The food was better and served to our table. There was a small shop in the complex which was only open for a short time in the evening. The staff were very nice.

Great location. Great view of the surrounding hills. When I got the invoice it said bed and breakfast. There was no breakfast included. Not a huge deal just an inconvenience.

Excellent apartment, very close to the golf course and our apartment overlooked the 12th hole which was good fun! Well equipped apartment. However the supermarket onsite was very sparsely filled and expensive.

Room was decent. Lack of sunbeds at the pool. Poor food choice in restaurant. Breakfast choice poor. Hotel location way too far from Los Arqueros GC. This should have been pointed out by your golf travel. Cost over €100 for taxi there and back.

On September 2018, we stayed at OnaValle, and we felt the quality was good, and that's why we went there again. The room facility was excellent for us.

Played 3 rounds the pace of play was good when we had 10.30 and 10.50 tee times, only I suppose slight complaint would be when we had 2pm tee off a tournament was on and the pace was very very slow, also as we had a buggy and was told we had to be off the course by 6pm so there was absolutely no chance of us completing 18 holes we payed for and we only managed 11 and was not offered any refund etc etc but apart from that the course was brilliant the views spectacular and the other players we played with were fantastic overall would definitely come back

Value for money course in reasonable condition. Greens had been damaged by poor watering during the summer and were being repaired. We played with 2 members - enjoyable round with nice couple who helped with course guidance, advice etc

Course was immaculate. Views are even better. Everything was in great condition and really easy to navigate. Great course.

The organisation upon arrival was exceptional but due to the terrain it is far to tough for the average golfer

The course currently has some damage from wild pigs but this didn't affect our enjoyment.

Great course, unfortunately all par 3’s basically the same distance, no outstanding par 3’s same club every time.

Excellent from start to finish. Fantastic hosts and superb facilities. Practice area (driving range, chipping area, putting green) is perfect to try out before you tee off. Highly recommend.

Some spectacular looking golf holes. Worse thing is, its 30 mins in a Taxi at a cost of €60 return!

Again another hilly and sloping fairways, not suitable for high handicapppers, we were playing off the yellow tees, and the par threes were very hard to reach. Our tee off time was 9-30am and we were paired up with a German couple, but the didn’t turn up so we could get off a little earlier, but for some reason, we were told to start at the 10th tee, when we finished the 18th and went to the 1st, suddenly it was busy! One couple passed us and went to the 2nd tee which was a par three, they were told by the starter to miss the 1st! When we got to the 2nd tee, there were 2x2 balls waiting to tee off! When it was our turn there was a 4x ball behind us!! Very chaotic. Didn’t enjoy this course at all.

New golf course for me and pleasantly surprised, would play there again and pro shop very helpful.

Our first early tee time of the trip, and the group was slightly disappointed the clubhouse didn’t have a kitchen, although the handmade sandwiches went down well. Very challenging golf course with precision required (make sure you bring plenty of golf balls). The buggy bar was welcomed every 6 holes. The greens could have been in better condition with holes and sand on the greens. 8/10 experience

A great course, quite tricky with some tight holes and tricky greens. Very friendly staff, very well equipped, has a good practice area/ range/putting/chipping area, overall one of the better ones we have played in the area. Would recommend playing this course

Great location but the course was a bit tatty and the greens were terrible

Least good of the courses we played as it was a late booking. Nothing wrong with the layout but a bit tired and tatty overall. We did not have buggies booked through YGT and set them up separately. LONG walk without a buggy.

The clubhouse and staff were excellent! Buggies were good. The greens need better maintenance. It was not too crowded and we had leisurely game. Enjoyed it on the whole!

Well presented, impressive club house, great setting, some difficult holes. Need plenty of spare balls and buggy required. Hilly so significant exertion required

After playing Finca Cortesin & Alcaidesa the Valle Romano always had a lot to live up to and was slightly disappointing. It could be a nice course but is showing a lot of wear and tear especially around the greens and it had the general feel of having been played a lot.

First time we had played here, very much enjoyed the layout - quite challenging holes The greens had just been dressed, so quite slow Played with two others on front nine - 2.5 hours, played as a two second nine, under two hours !!

The greens had just been hollow tined but were still good. We loved the course. Stunning views and a great lunch afterwards. Would definitely go back.

Course was generally a little bland although offered group a free game of golf based on 1 player getting a hole-in-one which we thought was a v.nice touch. Couldn’t take option up as had full golf schedule booked.

Unfortunately main bar and restaurant not open until May but they do have a snack wagon outside

Excellent overall,the only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed.

I played several times at the course, and at the third time I began to feel how to attack each course. Very challenging courses and interesting!!

Very hilly for ladies in our age group - however out of the hilly courses we played this was the best and the only hilly course i would go back to.

A wonderful course, friendly staff and brilliant facilities. The greens were receptive and true and a good challenge for all golfers. An expertly put together trip by the team and Your Golf Travel!

Played twice and enjoyed second time more. Some holes need to be played a second time when you realise their consequences!

There was no starter to advise on the first hole and we all lost our balls. Not a good start. The rest of the course was fine.

The course was in fantastic condition but I think for Handicap golfers the greens are way to fast, they could learn from Los Naranjos where they had sand on the greens to slow them down, these greens are really for professionals as it tends to ruin your round of golf, also the holes were cut on mounds or slopes which made it impossible !

Three of our group were robbed on the course. There were no direct warnings from staff despite, after reporting the robbery, they seemed very aware that these robberies are far from being isolated incidents. This is contrary to our experiences on other Spanish courses where we were directly and clearly warned about risks of certain areas on the course. There were members of "security" staff on the course but the areas that the clubhouse staff mentioned afterwards as being problematic had no security measures at all. This was very disappointing. The club has a duty of care to look after customers but it failed miserably. Absolutely to be avoided.

A great course in good condition. Good selection of very easy to very hard, but enjoyable. Some holes should have a health warning for the drop from the tee box to the fairway!! LOL. We had a German fourball in front that would not let us through (we a two ball) even though is was clear that we would be out of there way quickly. Made for a long and frustrating round. Would definitely play again.

Another well designed and immaculate course, our second best choice, it had a couple speciality holes , but the greens where not it`s best point , but we still would play it again next time we come to Spain
