Although earmarked for a refurbishment the rooms were clean and ideal for a group of male golfers.

Excellent location, both for golf courses and the bars / restaurants in the marina.

basic hotel needs refurb, and bit dated.
8 / 10
Our stay was enjoyable, some rooms were a bit dated but they were clean and fitted the needs of a group who didn't spend much time there. Staff were generally helpful. Beds maybe not the most comfortable but would stay there again.

Comfortable and clean hotel, if a little dated. Staff are very helpful and friendly and it’s a very cost-effective option to be on Vilamoura Marina

Fantastic location for all golf course

12 men on golf tour and we had 6 apartments which were very spacious but a little tired. Even a simple upgrade of the towels available would have brought the standard up a level. We had an electrical fault in our room which was caused by the kettle being located right next to the sink which also had the microwave sitting very close. Top advice, move these electrical items away from the sink for obvious reasons. The hotel staff, were excellent, all extremely helpful and friendly. The quality of breakfast was very good with a variety available suiting everyone's diet requirements. The bar area was pleasant with a games room available if we felt the need to have further sport activities. Ideally located for walk to beach or bars/restaurants. Overall, I would certainly stay there again.

Hotel was good, it did the job for a golf trip. Only thing could say about the hotel is it is outdated in the rooms

Very large ‘serviced apartment’ style rooms. Everything that’s needed for a golf trip. The rooms are a little dated, but the size and location can’t be faulted.

Great location but dissapointed that what was advertised as a two bed apartment turned out to be one bedroom and two sofa beds in the living room

Hotel was clean and we were welcomed by friendly reception staff. Studio rooms are ok but a little dated and need a little TLC although were adequate.

Hotel Porto Bello was a bit ‘tired’ & slightly run down. Breakfast was at Marina Hotel which was excellent.
No internet in room (7 th floor) but staff tried hard to fix it. Room was very good with self catering facility.
Excellent sea view.
Did not spoil our overall satisfaction with the trip. NB all transfers were punctual and drivers very friendly and accommodating. 👍

Room very hot. Air conditioning turned off centrally. Only way to sleep is opening doors. Then too noisy to sleep.

Due to early tee times and early flight home as breakfast was not served till 8 hot food and 7-30 we only once out of 5 days able to have breakfast . We received a breakfast bag with small bottle of water one sandwich ham and some cheese on small role of bread peace of fruit and a yogurt. This was not really satisfactory especially when we had to have for four of five days . Other facilities was good .

The staff we engaged with were all superb and so helpful and always seemed to be on hand to help . Nice apartment maybe slightly dated but very clean and great shower and bathroom. We had a larger apartment for 4 of us and lots of room . The breakfast was great and plenty on offer also had the best chips we had all week .

A great location with only 5 minutes walk to the beginning of the marina where most of the bars and restaurants are located.
The hotel had everything you needed including good storage, mini kitchen including a good sized fridge, an Iron + board, a good sized balcony.
The only thing it could do with is being modernised. Still a great hotel!

Very tired rooms , poor breakfasts , hot water intermittent.
Noisy renovations going on , would have been nice to have had a choice about staying if we had known ongoing work , so we played an extra golf day rather than stay at noisy hotel .
Great position for the harbour though .
Staff were very helpful and polite .

Functional hotel in great location, our room was looking tired . The bathroom had been upgraded so that was good, another plus was the size of the room, large table for cards and a well equipped kitchenette including fridge with ice compartment. Linen changed every day

We were expecting 2 x 2 bedroom apartments but one of the rooms was a one bedroom with a fold out couch. This was a minor inconvenience as otherwise the hotel experience was superb

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment which was massive for the 3 of us. Separate kitchen with decent fridge, little supermarket near by. Close to the beach and marina. Staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful.

Hotel was fine, although rather dated. Great location for accessing Villamoura marina for bars/restaurants. Once complaint would be the shuttle service. When travelling to the courses there was no issue, however pick-up essentially turns into a free-for-all with multiple parties vying to get back to the hotel.

Hotel was everything you would need on a short stay. Rooms were quite basic but very clean which is the main thing. staff were good and had no problems at all during my stay.

The hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment. It's very dated and the rooms are basic.

V. Poor - no breakfast was available on two days as they don’t open till 8pm - which even the local transfer drivers found unreasonable - breakfast packed lunch was given which was inappropriate for three vegetarian members in our group - I could go on but simple not recommend it again!!

A 1 bedroom apartment is totally unacceptable for 4 adult men and was needing modernised.
The staff on arrival did not give us any information about dining location or times.
The breakfast selection was limited and dining area was dated.
6 / 10
Comfortable superbly located hotel, if perhaps a little dated in places. Breakfast less than exceptional and being on a golf break with early ish tee time the fact that breakfast restaurant was not open until 8, perhaps 7:45 for cold foods was a bit of a pain.
Good pool and games room would stay again albeit if for golf would want slightly later tee times

Booked 2 x twin bedded rooms
When arrived 2 x rooms but 1 with double bed ?
Hotel said couldn’t change even though specifically requested twin rooms (take note YGT)
They provided a campbed but caused a big problem within our group as to who had to sleep on it.

Rooms were large and comfortable with fridge, tea/coffee making facilities. The food in the restaurant was very good and the location is good. The decoration is a little tired but just a minor issue.
