If was well maintained with different types of holes.

Dident even think we would end up playing the millennium as it was raining heavy all night and into the morning , knocked the time back and to our surprise it was still open and the water had drained ! Another quality track and condition for the time of the year ! Some great holes on the front 9

Didn’t really like this course. Very average. Played early twilight so cheaper which was a saver however staff were uninterested both before and after the round.

Lovely club house overlooking the two courses with driving range off to one side. Staff all very helpful and starter gave us good overview of what to expect. A lot of tree lined fairways so need to be careful with your driving but generally plenty of room. Greens were good but not fast.

A good test for all handicaps, course condition and greens were good. Clubhouse good and staff very friendly.

Another great track with a good range of challenging holes. In very good condition and sharing great club house and pro shops with Laguna. The young starter was very funny and really did a great job introducing us to the course and getting us under way.

A slower round than what we are used to back home but acceptable considering how busy it was. It was still very enjoyable with great greens, fairways and tee boxes.

Good course and layout, long par 4’s off the yellow Tee’s, some lovely par 3’s and fast greens.

Excellent facilities and looked after from arrival to departure staff very good. Course condition good.

In my opinion this was my least favourite of the 3 courses we played.It is still a nice course but i found it a bit bland and soulless.

this according to my scores was the easiest course to navigate but it was still a challenge, really enjoyed the golf and set us up for the forthcoming 6 golf days

Very slow play - not many marshals and when seen they did not chase up the groups in front who were very slow

Got stuck behind a group that were the slowest of all time and at non point offered us to come through. Conditions of course was also disappointing

Course was very decent, fairways a little bit rough in places but overall very nice, trouble is we played the Old Course first which is on another level...

The Greens were very quick.

On arrival at the course, we were immediately impressed by the ascetic pleasant appearance of the area around the club house: 2 putting greens, large chipping area and good size driving range. The club house and facilities catered for 2 courses;Millennium and Laguna, I would say, the practice greens were closer to Laguna rather than Millennium which, were much slower but in good nick.Our group of 12 varied in handicap from 5.4 to 24 and this course was ideal for that capability range, testing enough for both the low and higher handicaps. Visually, the course was very good although some building works around some of the holes were a little distracting. The staff were all excellent in their attitude and attentive.

Attractive course set in mostly tree lined fairways.

Some good open fairways welcomed for high handicappers. Pathways were not good. Buggies wre bouncing up and down. Great menu and food

Liked Millennium and greens good and true, would play it gain but other ahead of it. Couldn't fault the course, greens, staff or service just not one of my go to courses in Portugal.

Really enjoyed this course the best as a bit more forgiving off the tee and had some lovely holes so we all faired better than on Pinhal. The greens were really good to putt on, staff very nice.

The course was in good condition. It was not too difficult to play. The time of the round was four hours and 15 minutes.

Many different challenges across all 18 holes but still very enjoyable to play.

Course in excellent condition, though beware that a “Twilight” booking means you are not expected to complete your round before sunset. We played the front 9 twice and had the “second” nine all to ourselves. Also - buggy reservation and allocation process all a bit chaotic as they rely on retuning buggies for fill later tee slots. Invariably this leads to delays and not the best experience to start a golf trip.

First class service

Staff were great and very helpful. Course was lovely, a real selection of holes. Distance from green to tees quite long. Restaurant served excellent food.

Nice track - lovely staff - couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Greens were better than Quinta South and Val Da Lobo's Royal...Course is less 'wow' but still a lovely track to play.

Probably the weakest of all Dom Pedro courses. Front 9 was a good challenge and picturesque, back 9 was forgettable and felt very different to the front. Disjointed and whilst scoring well, I wouldn’t recommend over the Old Course or Pinhal.

This was the first time I played Millennium. Holes 2 to 7 provides a good test of driving accuracy and approach play. Greens were really lovely to putt on. Holes 8 to 18, were much more open. Very playable and would definitely play again. Food was good in clubhouse and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent round really enjoyable. Drinks afterwards very expensive poor value for money, also buggies v expensive!

Very very slow actually finished in the dark we did ask the marshal to try and speed up play but his reply was we are busy and you have twilight rate which we were totally unaware of. Nice course good driving range and club house. But too slow.

Out of the three courses we played this was the weakest and course in less good condition . However , it was still an enjoyable course to play , general green condition good . Buggies cheapest of three courses 50 euros which is still expensive .

The front 9 of the Millennium course are absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and a great layout. The back 9 are more similar to the Laguna course but still enjoyable. Buggies are recommended due to the distance between holes. It's definitely worth playing, especially for the front 9, which are a highlight. The course requires some strategic plotting, and our group thoroughly enjoyed it. We'd happily play it again

The course doubles up Laguna but overall operates ver efficiently. We played the Laguna the day before and felt those greens and tees were better and despite being on same location greens a different feel and speed just suffered a bit from being softer.

Not quite in the same league as Pinhal or the Old Course but you can still have a challenge

Reasonable course that was in good condition, main criticism would be the price when you add on the cost of buggy hire.

We were told when booking that buggies were €50 for the round. Imagine my surprise when they charged us an extortionate price of €60 a round. Going to ask the group for more money each round.

Stunning course & great greens. Let down again by Golftravel as No buggies were booked for us but was requested on booking. Cost us 40€ each on arrival.

An easy golf course doesn't exist but this is easier than the rest. Lovely people in the shop and around the course especially. No problem with golf sandals or general attire.

Great course. Golf buggies are €55 which you can hire when pitching up on the day. No GPS on the golf buggies.

Very nice course cut through golf ball eating trees. If you hit a ball up into the trees the ball often stays up there. There are some fantastic properties alongside the course. The front nine is particularly lovely through avenues of trees, greens were fantastic. Our group agreed we would all happily be a member there.

Having played the Old Course we were aware the Millennium is the poorer relation and it is. But it’s still a fine course to play and not a lot of hazards to catch you out . The greens are really good and fairways fine - bit of work going on but only April so targeting better months. Excellent facilities and good staff. If we had played this first and not the old Course would have been perfectly happy.

Millennium course was probably the least favourite out of the 3 I played. ( Laguna and Pinhal) but would still recommend to anyone. The Only problem I had was with a Marshall who denied the fact that the group in front was painfully slow and didn’t hurry them!

Awfully slow round (5.5 hours) so be prepared to wait 10 / 15 mins at each tee box. We had a 14:06 tee time and didn’t finish the round which is extremely poor when paying so much money. Also, no shuttle back to hotel past 18:30 so therefore you have to pay for an additional taxi to get back to hotel.

Superb course with great facilities. Greens and fairways in excellent shape. If you’re carrying it’s a long walk from Green to tee on many of the holes!

Fairly uninspiring course with few memorable holes. Far too busy, frequently with 3 games simultaneously on a Par 5 hole, always having to wait to tee off with another group waiting behind you. Expensive buggies (€55) with ripped vinyl seats, no sat nav, and foot break that is hard to engage when parked. Overall it was ok, but Dom Pedro is resting on his laurels with an overpriced offer. I would recommend looking elsewhere in the area instead

Probably the least favourite of the courses in the group. The loop around the houses (holes 3-7) have a lot of character and there’re some really pretty houses to look at and be envious of but the other 13 holes are pretty “meh”. It was good to play this early in the trip as it would have been a real comedown to play this after the Laguna, Victoria and Old.

Fantastic course, challenging holes without feeling unreasonably long. The course and practice facilities were all in great condition. The greens were well paced and the rough around the greens was very different to UK courses so I’d recommend a bit of chipping practice before your round

Another staple in the Dom Pedro portfollio. Some challenging holes and some easier ones. Good facilities available too.

Another long and challenging course but beautiful.

Challenging, well maintained course. Lots of trees, which stop the ball in its tracks (and often don't drop it onto the ground!). Suggest you adopt our local rule regarding them and treat as hazard with one-shot penalty rather than lost ball.

Underrated course in my opinion. Was easier than Old Course but you had to plot your way around at times, made a good challenge. Will look to play again.

Can be very busy so unless you have early starts your finishing in the dark.

Corse was in very good condition unfortunately my golf wasn't as good.

We were delayed on our tee times by 40 minutes due to lack of buggies. This was very disappointing and marred the day.

Lots of trees! Straight forward course. We got paired with a couple who weren’t aware of any golf etiquette which slightly marred our experience.

Course had no electric trollies left which was disappointing. Tees were notin great condition. Greens and fairways were excellent and I thought it was an attractive course. More enjoyable than Laguna.

Greens were a bit slow and the rough very tricky but course in excellent condition. We had lunch and drinks on the patio which was lovely.

Shambles as tee off delayed by an hour as there were no buggies. No real guidance or advice and we just had to wait. Round took over 5 hours. Shuttle took ages and staff left early. Won't be going back. Course was OK.

This is a fairer course than Laguna, but it is a good test. Having to pay for range balls here, while free at Laguna makes no sense. Again the shuttle bus back to the hotel was a complete lottery in terms of how long it took to turn up.

Trees, trees, trees.. we played off the white tees and found so many trees had been let to overgrow there were some holes you could only punch an iron under the trees off the tee.. prob fine off yellow. The course was shutting down for annual maintenance the day after we played so hopefully all sorted.. the greens were good and the holes very interesting and well laid out.. good experience...

Enjoyed the round. Good advice from the starter. Course generally in great condition. Buggy providers very professional…..cards and pencils in place….loads of ice in box for water and they offered to clean our clubs after the round. Toasty and a beer after the round on the patio.

The first 7 holes beautifully presented with trees lining the fairways at both sides. Holes 8 onwards were open and it felt like you were playing 2 different courses almost. A nice course though.

It’s one of the poorer Dom Pedro courses. Tough with too many trees.

3rd time playing this course and real good value for money, some holes are basic but others are great . For me a good starter to the holiday.

played this course 20 years ago and thought it was brilliant. Sadly, the condition overall is now a bit scruffy. signs to tees not painted in, paths in disrepair, some of the fairways were full of sand and/or had hardly any grass on them. The greens were excellent. Wouldnt book to play here again.

Lovely course with great apres golf bar. Wide fairways and bar cart making the rounds. Free quick transfer from Hilton. Greens were excellent. Defo need a buggy. Long green to tee traverse.

Grass driving range to warm up on. We played Millennium twice. The first time I walked with a trolley and it was a hard slog given the very warm conditions and some long walks between greens and tees. I'd recommend a buggy. The course is mostly quite open though there are some holes which wind through trees (overlooked by high end villas). I found the greens quite slow compared to my course in England but they were in pretty good condition.

Far too many golfers to cope with the course. This dampened the experience as we had to wait around far too much. Left after 12 holes as we’d been playing for 4 hours.

The slope rating of the course, indicates it should be easy, but long par 4's hide that well

The Millennium course is a nice course to play. Unfortunately, the Algarve has had a very dry winter and one or two fairways on the Millennium have suffered. With the sister course, Laguna, being closed for refurbishment, the Millennium may be getting overplayed a little.

Course condition poor very patchy fairways and poorly maintained pathways.In need of serious repairs. Overall I could not recommend this course in its present condition.

Really enjoyed front nine , lots of very different holes, it was the end of the day and wouldn’t get to finish because of light and so slow, so done front nine again

Great opening 8 holes. On its own it would be a top course, but not as good a track as Old or Victoria. Still very well framed, lots of trees, tricky but fun holes.

The Millenium was enjoyable but we didn't appreciate the lack of a halfway house or drinks/food cart on what were 4.5+ hours rounds. The clubhouse again was a strangely empty feel afterwards, and we found it strange it shut at 8 on the weekend of the masters. Preferred pinhal to Millenium. Drink prices at the clubhouse for anything non-local were ridiculous.

One of the best courses I have played. Really enjoyed it.

Greens were absolutely mint. Course was a bit scrappy in places by overall i would recommend it.

Most probably needs more work on to improve the fairways.

Not as good as Pinhal course. Fairways lacked grass, greens ok.

Decent first day course

A good challenge, fairways were good, greens were fast and I won so I like this course 😀

Having played here before it met my expectations as it does need some investment on the course. The greens are fine but as an example, the wooden bridge on 1st is rotting away and a number of the fairways were still water logged from the previous days rain so does need improvements to the drainage.

Tho Is was probably the worst of the three courses we played but still better than my home course , the infrastructure around the course could do with some upgrades

Nice course, but very slow play at times as it was busy. Enjoyable, the facilities were ok too. Nice view from the bar after the game was finished and very pleasant staff. Driving range was expensive compared to back home (£7 per basket)

Time spent on the course was ok but the condition of the course was not up to standard.

Course was in great nick and the greens were like lightening but very true. Staff before and after were very helpful Shout out for Miguel who cleaned your clubs as he managed to help me replace a PW that i lost and only wanted a minimum charge for this. The perfect example of going over and above without being asked

Lovely course and enjoyed playing it, as with most course’s abroad the greens tend to suffer due to players not taking care and repairing their pitch marks, but overall I will certainly play it again.

First 9 holes are tremendous, back nine slightly tired.

Greens were exceptionally quick and pins were in tough positions. Very enjoyable, lowest scoring rounds of the three due to greens. (stableford!)

In contrast with San Lorenzo we teed off quite early at 08.06 - just the two of us since the pair who were meant to make up a four ball had not yet arrived. Very friendly staff and a great course to take on. Only criticism was in respect of the signposting of and between holes. We both ended up teeing off on the 9th hole thinking it was the 2nd! The greens were in fantastic condition which added to our enjoyment. A drink or two on the terrace watching the golfers behind us take on the Par5 18th rounded off a great day out! My wife even saved somebody some embarrassment by spotting a discarded 9 iron left near the green!

Played late and when we asked for the shuttle at 7.32 pm were told that they had finished so had to get taxis

The course was good but we were disappointed that we were told buggies would be included by Yourgolftravel when they were not so we ended up paying an additional €150 when we arrived.

Excellent, sunset beat us. We'll book and earlier tee time next time!

On a par with Pinhal but better than Laguna

Stuck behind 2 four balls who were enjoying beers and trying to play off the white tees whilst clearly unable to. Close on 5hr round and almost dark on return. Course Marshall did attend to speed up play otherwise we might not have finished the round.

Wonderful older style less glitzy golf experience but again great day supported by warm welcoming staff

Great to have it back open one of the best and most underrated courses on the algarve.

Course was in very poor condition . Scruffy Tee box's poor bunkers and greens were the poorest we have experienced every in Portugal. Overall very much disappointed by the conditions.

Played before, I thought it was tired

A mix up with the starting time stating we should have teed of at 18 minutes earlier than YGT stated ? This meant we were straight from the hotel shuttle on to the course I played the first three holes in my trainers ! I felt the course looked a little tired the bunkers had grass growing out of them and the greens not the best .

It’s not very good,tee boxes are terrible course is not good,we will not go back there again.I’ve been there a few times so it was very disappointing.

The course itself was in good condition but the pathways were very untidy with huge weeds growing through the paving and lots of branches and twigs lying about. The staff were all very plesant and helpful.

Beautiful and interesting course as always

We played with a German couple who are regular visitors to Vilamooura. This was very helpful as they knew the course so advised on holes and guided us to the 'next tee' which is always helpful in unfamiliar territory. My golf is very mediocre but I managed the course OK and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We didn't actually play this course, therefore unable to provide accurate review, however would not allow me to save unless star rating applied.

Have played this a few times. Would suggest if playing more difficult courses this is a perfect warm up.

The best course out of the three which we played. Tree lined and a very well kept and manicured course. Greens and fairways in excellent condition.

Another Stunning Golf Course

Good course for all handicap players high to low. Fast tricky greens but still able to get a reasonable score

Again, a good challenging course allbeit slightly easier than Pinhal. A very enjoyable 18 holes.

Same comments as Pinhal, but seemed to be no buggy availability issues at all.

Great condition, perfectly greens. Appropriate level of difficulty for mixed handicappers. Great facilities.

A very pleasant course well maintained and lots of birds and lovely trees. Our experience was only slightly marred by other golfers! Our buggy was hit by a ball and the men's fourball behind us always stood on the tee waiting when we couldn't play any faster because of those in front of us. None of this was the fault of the Millenium staff who were all very welcoming.

Quite a tough course for the higher handicap golfer.

After playing the previous four courses this one seemed easier. We averaged 29 points.

Loved the course. Greens were fast and true. It rained for a few holes but that did not detract from a great experience

Best course out of the 3 I played on Dom Pedro,greens wer really hard to read and fast,fair ways way better than luganua,plenty of trees do driver not really needed,

the round took us about four hours, no delays. speed of play was good, not held up by group in front.

Nice course not one that I would pay to play again.

Most enjoyable of the three courses played, though again we all found the greens too difficult.

the starter was the most rude and aggressive person, got the tee times all wrong, when challenged told me I should go play somewhere else, he couldn't care less. after the management corrected him, he still wouldn't apologise, ruined the day. I've played this course at least 15 times and have never been treated so badly at any club.

Paths need tidied. Possibly overplayed. Bit tired.

Hard for a group of lads mostly playing off 28 but it was a great challenge and the course was beautiful in the sun.

Second time I’ve played it. Fantastic course and in excellent condition.

Although possibly easier than the orher two courses rated, a good test of your golfing ability nevertheless.

despite playing a four ball round this course in under 4 hours we were constantly told to hurry up. They appeared to let everyone go at the same time. I think more should be done to space out the play a bit more.

Easier and less picturesque than other courses. Course is very playable for all level of golfers.

overall, the course was in good condition, but the owners need to be mindful some holes were looking tired

Enjoyed playing here but the greens and tees were in poor condition on the other hand the fairways and bunkers were excellent . The driest fairways we played all week.

cannot pre-book buggies, therefore it's a gamble if you want to book whilst you are there, no buggies some players were walking and with a group of 16 player walking split the group up, therefore the course was very slow, as it's a long walk between green and tee, been here 3 years on the trot wouldn't return, service is poor and gone backwards, over crowded the course and staff don't care!

Felt the greens were in poor condition and very slow Fairways were similar not giving much run However the course layout is magnificent so I guess the conditions were perhaps the result of a long hard season

Beautiful course and all Ladies found it good to play. An interesting course which keeps ur mind on ur game.
