SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort Hotel

The hotel and staff were fantastic.The golf course was in poor condition but probably due to the amount of rain before we arrived.The cost of eating at hotel was expensive.We will return to the hotel another time I am sure as we enjoyed our stay

This place grows on you. Breakfast with a spectacular view of the sun rising from the sea. Excellent restaurants with great staff. Good spa facilities. On site golf course is a gem

Very comfortable and stylish hotel. Good attention to detail, customer service. Good food, although limited dining options as not in high season. No other nearby dining options - Sotogrande Marina is c 10km away. There was a large conference and photoshoot taking place at the hotel during our stay, which made for very heavy traffic and limited parking at times, especially when raining. Overall, we would stay at hotel again if in the area, but only after ensuring that no such functions were in the calender coinciding with our dates.

Nice hotel with good rooms and pretty good restaurants although one of them was closed for works etc. so can’t comment. Good pools and outside lounging areas. No internal lounge or lounges, so nowhere really to wait for flights etc.

Overall it was very nice, a bit expensive the prices in the hotel and one of the main restaurants was closed from 1st of november which was very unfortunate and left only a very few options to eat then..next time we know after october you shouldnt stay there especially if you dont have a rental car. Service was great. Spa is very expensive and the indoor pools way too cold (hot tube etc).

The hotel is in a remote position in the hills. There are no shops easily accessible and restaurants for dinner are not close by, other than the three in the hotel, some of which were closed from time to time. The room was small with a wet area for showering which soaked most of the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a spectacular hotel with beautiful views, food there was incredible but just a little pricey but that comes with being in that area

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

Wonderfull accomodation with friendly and helpfull staff.

All round top class. The resort is a little isolating so you need a taxi to leave the resort and adds an extra expense. A week eating in one location is too much. A hotel shuttle to the local areas daily would make a huge difference.

The ambience of the overall decor gave us the feeling of being comfortable and relaxed, the staff and facilities were well maintained and professional

Top class hotel oozing sophistication. Great base with good quality local golf courses. Nothing to complain about at all.

The best place to center our golf trip . Amazing resort and incredible food . Every course we played was no more than 15 minutes away .

Great location! Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Lack of restaurant choice at the hotel but the food was great nonetheless.

Absolutely beautiful room - huge comfy bed - gorgeous bathroom...... Hotel facilities amazing the swimming pools were superb. The whole experience was 5 star perfect.

The hotel was a great experience / with extremely helpful staff and everything of extremely high quality. Beautiful views to the sea and mountains.

Very modern room. Very comfortable. Great bathroom. Lack of proper bedside tables an issue. Restaurants are ok not great. Staff helpful but some not efficient. Overall may stay again.

Beautiful and relaxed environment; lovely hotel

Really enjoyed the hotel, lovely contemporary design and feel. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Staff were lovely and friendly. Although breakfast was excellent in every way, evening options and quality not up to standard and very disappointing. Over priced and not great quality, most things tasted like they were just food from plastic bags heated up. Given there are no eating choices locally other than the hotel this was a negative. Hotel needs to up its game on evening food.

Great rooms and relaxed ambience.

The hotel was perfected located for easy access to several amazing courses in Sotogrande. The staff was great. The food was perfect. The Spa and pool were great. I really enjoyed staying here

If we stayed again we’d go for the larger suites, the cosy rooms are just that. Refurbished to a reasonable and modern standard. Food options felt a little limited, although we liked the vibe at the HiSo tapas bar but it closed at 8pm.

The hotel is very fresh and up to date. Room was excellent. only drawback was wet room style shower which soaked the bathroom floor and meant using towels to dry it and prevent slipping. All hotel facilities were excellent. Staff were faultless

A magnificent brand new hotel; with a few minor snagging issues to be ironed out. The individual cottages are beautifully designed to match the flow of the landscape. Being off-season, many facilities were closed, but what was open was of a very high standard. The staff was universally friendly, helpful and courteous. We look forward to making a return visit later in the season.
