Excellent all round

3rd visit to hotel. Good facilities and really good location for Quinta Golf Courses and restaurants. Was a mix up with rooms on arrival and was a struggle to arrange transfers to Laranjal golf course. Although eventually sorted by very helpful member of staff

Fantastic hotel, with helpful and friendly staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately return.

Overall the Wyndham Grand was excellent - the indoor pool was closed for refurbishment and with the weather being cool, windy and inclement - this was disappointing. The breakfasts were excellent and the quality of food in the XXL restaurant was very high - though a little more expensive than the other restaurants. The bar facilities were very good and staff excellent. The rooms were plush BUT we wanted to have 2 twin rooms - not a double bed and a twin - for 4 more mature male golfers. The hotel said they couldn't accommodate this. However they did put down the sofa bed in the living area. This was OK but essentially took out our communal living space. Not a major problem but an unnecessary annoyance. The staff were very pleasant but I felt relatively unhelpful for a 5 star hotel. Nevertheless - overall we had a very good stay.

This was our second stay and again everything was great - apart from the very badly designed underground car park. Park at ground level if you can.

The Wyndham is a perfect place to stay when playing the Quinta courses, first class accomodation, extremely helpful, great breakfast, pool area a little tired but not an issue, would highly recommend - maybe not the best for a lads trip.

Hotel is very good

The hotel was very good and had great facilities. The breakfast buffet had a good selection but some of the ‘hot’ food was warm at best - such an easy fix but day after day and it wasnt that warm. The room aircon seemed to be on/off and after two nights of 24 degree temps we asked reception to send a maintenance engineer. These little thinga are an easy fix to what else is a great hotel.

Lovely Hotel but a bit remote if you are not playing golf at Quinta. Only one restaurant with limited menu. OK if you are B & B but a problem for full boarders. Bar snacks available. Staff brilliant especially reception.

This is a great hotel with very friendly staff and would have got straight 5 stars but for the underground car park. This is extremely badly designed with turning space being too small for most cars, as evidenced by the scrape marks on many pillars. With anything other than a small rental car frankly I’d go elsewhere.

An excellent hotel well located for golf in Quinta da Lago. All facilities were first class and service was excellent. The staff were always accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended.

Absolutely great… totally loved it with one exception.. We assumed it was a hotel mainly for golfers and we didn’t envisage the number of babies/toddlers some of whom badly behaved abd undisciplined especially at breakfast…

We loved it. Went to the same hotel last year and it didn’t disappoint. The drinks are expensive at the hotel but apart from that very enjoyable holiday

Great suite accommodation, good spa facilities, super close to north/south courses clubhouse

The hotel and everything to do with it was first class, thank you. I'm not sure why you wanted to move us to the Magnolia because the Wyndham was not full at all. We had a look at the Magnolia hotel and there is just no comparison.

The Wyndham is a great location for golf at Quinta do Lago. Staff were great, room very spacious and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Top quality hotel, but that’s what you are paying for. Breakfast was very good and catered for all European tastes. Didn’t use any of the other restaurants or bars in the hotel.

Perfect location for south and North Quinta courses. Superb hotel.

Faultless - from arrival to departure nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was outstanding. The suite was superb, immaculately clean and maintained.

Splendid hotel, spacious accommodation, attentive staff and the added bonus of cycle hire. Only downside was the quality of restaurant food. We ate in early in our stay and such was the quality of the meal that was offered we were offered a full refund. The restaurant was (understandably) very quiet on most evenings and had a poor reputation amongst fellow guests. Fortunately, several very good restaurants in close proximity.

Hotel was very quiet which is always a bit unnerving, however, it was well staffed and they were all looking to please

Staff were very attentive and we had a fantastic experience. Although quiet due to combination of being off season and COVID, this did not detract from experience. Food was excellent and everything was open as normal.

Excellent suites and facilities. Long walk to most bars and restaurants but close to the beach and a small supermarket.

Very helpful staff. Spotlessly clean hotel. Extremely quiet due to Covid restrictions. Everything felt very safe. The breakfast instead of the usual help yourself it was point and the waitress plated. Perfect for no cross contamination etc. Very relaxing break. The PCR tests are a faff and expensive. Things are changing all the time. There is Test to Travel centres in Quinta two mins from the hotel. Very efficient too.

Very good for golf, breakfast v good. Restaurant ok but change of bar area and restaurant since last visit is not entirely successful. Rooms very spacious and well maintained

A classy hotel with elegant and impressive public areas and decor. Early July is off season for golf possibly explaining why the hotel guests were predominantely young families - not ideal for an older golfing couple. The pool area was “no go” without earplugs. The proximity to the golf courses is spoilt by a lack of shuttles back and forth, and a resultant high taxi costs. Quinta do Lago was around 500 metres away but cost between €9 and €12 ! There are plans to upgrade the suites, restaurant and add a lobby bar plus golf shuttle by the new owners. Could be a fine base for golfers but right now doesn’t quite get there.

not the best of hotels; really a self catering place; hot breakfasts were cold on first 3 days; a bit expensive; long walks involved in getting to your apartment

The suite was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent but the bar and restaurant menu was limited. The staff were very attentive and always welcoming and helpful. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

The Monte da Quinta Resort is amazing we couldn’t find fault with anything. Fantastic rooms, lovely staff and wonderful breakfasts. It’s in a great location very central. It even has a car park underneath so if leaving clubs in the car they are safe.

Great Hotel very well looked after, Garden rooms were very good indeed. Absolutely great experience with Your Golf Travel what a very well organised operation from beginning to end Fully Fully recommend them
