If you could draw what your perfect golf holiday would look like I have a funny feeling it may look a bit like the Canary Islands. Located off the North coast of Africa, the group of four islands are famous for the year round sunshine and picturesque white and black sand beaches.

Despite the fact it may not have the plethora of world famous courses that mainland Spain is home to, it is certainly not sure of quality as all of the courses provide players with a truly unforgettable golfing experience. The combination of sun, sea and fairways is the perfect recipe to create one of the best golfing destinations in Europe.

The course at the Salobre Hotel and Resort Serenity uses Gran Canaria’s dramatic natural landscape to its advantage and the designers have created a brilliant place to play.
