Some quick info on golf in Yorkshire with Your Golf Travel
The Ryder Cup trio of Moortown, Lindrick and Ganton are those that draw the most attention when thinking about championship golf in Yorkshire. These three hosted golf's biggest team event, attracting some of the world's best golfers to challenge for the famous Samuel Ryder Trophy. Other notable golf courses in Yorkshire include Alwoodley which has been a regular host of national amateur competitions including The English Amateur and Brabazon Trophy as well as Hallamshire which is home to Matt Fitzpatrick, one of the leading lights on the European Tour.
Many golfers will head to the likes of Hollins Hall and Rudding Park for a golf and hotel option in Yorkshire. Both of these options provide mature golf courses with stunning views across the Yorkshire countryside and are good options for a mixture of handicaps.
